I hear much talk about how much there is to learn from the Bible, and I would wholeheartedly agree.

What of experience? Can we learn much from experience?

I want everyone’s opinion, but I most PARTICULARLY am interested in what older people think.

Sure we learn from trying our best and if it doesn't work out how we planned we still trust God.

Most people would have never come to God if things in life weren't all messed and they needed a savoir.

Trial and error so to speak. WE kearn from our mistakes. WE learn we don't want to do it wrong anymore.

Gods way or no way.

Lots of people never try because their afraid to fail. Well God loves us even if we fail. He would rather us fail at trying something then sitting back and maybe missing our destiny because we were too afraid to try.

The older I get ,the more I learn that I know absolutly Nothing.they say that experience is tthe best teacher, well in my experience I've lerned that every time I open my mouth ,my foot usually ends up in it. I think theres a proverb for that one. If yiou wanna learn from the wisdom of age tho you can read Eccleseastes ,thats an awesome book telling of the trials of experience and all that is n the earth, and I love Solomons conclusion
Ecc 12:11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
Ecc 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Couldn't add much to what NoahsDad has already said, other than mabey mentioning that in these verses, at the end when it mentions good and evil, that these are the obvious; Why i beleive we have to go through this flesh for Our Father, is for the more difficult task of, separating the sincere from the insincere, you know, the ones who pay lip service only and don't know preciously why, when, where, how, and what it is that has YAHAVAH so upset.

I would take Christ's advice, and enter into the Holy of Holies, which he gave his life on the cross, for you to have that privilage, being the sinners that we ALL are, and Sincerely start asking Him, YAHAVAH in and through Christ for these answers, IF you sincerely care, otherwise you won't.

Love and Peace to ALL in CHRIST!!!Forever :)

Please tell me if I'm wrong, I do not confess to be an expert, but just say it as I see it.
The bible is mostly good Holy food for the spirit and the Holy spirit to use. The bible is not PC yet the world we live is is getting more and more PC which is having a huge negitive affect on people (we are now sending woman to the most unfeminine act WAR, god help us if they become prisioners) Knowing your family heritage and any stories about them can be good or bad food for the spirit(what people use to do before TV). Experiences can be the same, they can be either good or bad food and during our younger years can leave a big impression on our faith. How many people say
"How could God let this happen".
Well I had the opposite, I experienced something I believe to be from God that left me breathless. It strengthened my faith 10 fold. So I say experiences are just as important as the bible for us to continue our walk with God.

What would we be without a spirit, just another species in the animal kingdom.
