Can someone explain exactly where heaven is?

I am very curious about where it is? For I do know it is in us or among us but is it also another place or dimension of some sort? I was even talking about it to a friend and I told him it is within us, we make the kingdom and that is true but i want to get deeper. I do not think anyone has ever been to heaven and earth and then back besides Jesus and His angels. Do we make heaven on earth what is your opinions before the Lord will tell me?

No one knows it yet because we haven't been their yet.

Everything that exists, you, me, our family, friends, planets, gravity, time... all exists within our little corner of all that is.

I don't know what the bible says about the location of Heaven, but I think it exists in the white area. On the outside, something we can't really grasp the concept of, because it doesn't even belong in our realm of all that is.

Well it's hard because humans are logical thinkers. It is in your heart. You are to live in right now. Have peace. Love to over flow. Sometimes the feelings God gives can overwhelm you. Happy and OK even if the world is falling a part. God told me one time make everywhere I was a paradise. I seen heaven when I was a kid. It was up in the sky.

Hi Crazy,

I think Jimmy answered well, we just have to wait and see when it's time. Still, you are also correct in what you said in a small way, we have a piece of heaven in us also, for that which is in us, came from heaven :)

Heaven is not a 'place' but rather a REALM. But if you need to, you can say that the FIRST heaven is what we see in the sky..the moon, sun, stars; the 2nd heaven is where the demonic resides and the 3rd is where the Throne of God is. Michael had to help the warrior angel who had been sent to help Daniel, but had been detained by the prince of Persia. Angels do not fight men, but fight demonic PRINCipalties. In order for the angel to come from the 3rd heaven where he recieved the directive to go from God and help Daniel, he had to go THROUGH the 2nd heaven where the powers and principalities of darkness are. There, he was detained in battle and Michael had to help him. Dan 10:13

Paradise sits outside the 7th heaven.

The first heaven is the known universe. It is by far the smallest.

The 2nd heaven is exponiatially bigger than the 1st. The comparison is if the 1st heaven is the size of a ring then the 2nd heaven would be the size of a desert. The 2nd heaven is like a ring in the desert compared to the 3rd etc.

Paradise will be so enormous that the area you will live in in paradise will be light years in length. A couple of square inches of this land is worth more than the Earth and everything in it.

Crazy,
According to scripture (my bible is not handy so i cannot give ref.), there are three heavens; therefore, your question is rather ambiguous. The first heaven was that heaven created in the Beginning; the second heaven is from terra firma (earth surface) to the boundary of the universe (which boundary is the 'waters above the firmament'),
and the third heaven is the Garden of Eden, which is Paradise.
Use your concordance and trace 'heaven or heavens'.
No man had ever been to the first heaven (HEB), nor can one, because of the flesh.
Flesh is sinful and cannot enter Paradise, so this is why all must die, even Jesus.

Greetings,

This is an interesting analogy but not entirely accurate. Our universe is multi-dimentional but it is also flat, so you could use a spherical object to describe the objects contained within the universe, but to use a spherical object to define the Universe would be inaccurate. The location of Heaven is not specifically defined within scripture but we can glean from science that Heaven must transcend at least 9 of our dimensions. I say 9 dimensions because it cannot be said if time exists in Heaven or not, so to err on the side of caution I use 9. We know from Astronomical data that the Universe is continually expanding so Heaven must not be subject or effected by this expansion, which also evidences it transcend-ency to our dimensional plane. Considering the different dimensional plane I would say that it would not take long to reach Heaven in the Spiritual form, or Hell for that matter because certain laws of physics would no longer apply to our soul. Since certain laws of Physics do not, nor cannot apply to our soul in it's subsisting from our body, new laws would have to govern the soul evidencing the fact that Heaven nor Hell is within Earth or our Universe as we know it. In conclusion, I would say that it definitely transcends our current dimensions but does not necessarily mean that it is far from our existence.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that heaven is our state of mind after we’ve repented of our sin.
