Isaiah 19-

A prophecy against Egypt:
See, the LORD rides on a swift cloud
and is coming to Egypt.
The idols of Egypt tremble before him,
and the hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear.

2 “I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian—
brother will fight against brother,
neighbor against neighbor,
city against city,
kingdom against kingdom.
3 The Egyptians will lose heart,
and I will bring their plans to nothing;
they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead,
the mediums and the spiritists.
4 I will hand the Egyptians over
to the power of a cruel master,
and a fierce king will rule over them,”
declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.

5 The waters of the river will dry up,
and the riverbed will be parched and dry.
6 The canals will stink;
the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up.
The reeds and rushes will wither,
7 also the plants along the Nile,
at the mouth of the river.
Every sown field along the Nile
will become parched, will blow away and be no more.
8 The fishermen will groan and lament,
all who cast hooks into the Nile;
those who throw nets on the water
will pine away.
9 Those who work with combed flax will despair,
the weavers of fine linen will lose hope.
10 The workers in cloth will be dejected,
and all the wage earners will be sick at heart.

11 The officials of Zoan are nothing but fools;
the wise counselors of Pharaoh give senseless advice.
How can you say to Pharaoh,
“I am one of the wise men,
a disciple of the ancient kings”?

12 Where are your wise men now?
Let them show you and make known
what the LORD Almighty
has planned against Egypt.
13 The officials of Zoan have become fools,
the leaders of Memphis are deceived;
the cornerstones of her peoples
have led Egypt astray.
14 The LORD has poured into them
a spirit of dizziness;
they make Egypt stagger in all that she does,
as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit.
15 There is nothing Egypt can do—
head or tail, palm branch or reed.

16 In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the LORD Almighty raises against them. 17 And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified, because of what the LORD Almighty is planning against them.

18 In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD Almighty. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.[a]

19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. 20 It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them. 21 So the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and keep them. 22 The LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them.

23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. 25 The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.”

Do you believe that this passage coincides with Egypt in its current state? More so verses 19-22.

I don't get real deep into prophecy, but I guess I'm waiting on a plague. Via verse 22.

EDIT:

Also, a mass of people leaving Islam and finding the truth, the way, and the light... would definately help, as per verse 21.

Revelation 11:8

8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

I don't believe that this is not a physical occurence but something that is spiritual. We must identify who the egyptians are spiritually as we wrestle not with flesh and blood. We fight against powers and principalities, and spiritual wickedness in high places. These entities are our true taskmasters.

Sorry, the other two didn't come out right.

Dear friends, There is also a prophecy in the OT that God shall set up an altar of the LORD in the land of Egypt, and this is fulfilled in our days in the Coptic Orthodox churches in Egypt. Egypt is an ancient Christian land going back to St. Mark in Alexandria, Egypt. In Erie PA Scott Harrington

I'm not so sure about any prophecies on the matter, but I support the uprising in Egypt 100%! Carry on the fight for freedom, man! May Thor's mighty hammer swing in their favor!

It is clear to me by reading the Bible that God does not like Egypt!

Just as I thought it would happen, the military took over Egypt. Every common man's revolution gets hijacked by a few powerful elite.

no man knows the day or hour...that is correct, but Christ has let us know when the end of the age will be.....yes we should not worry about the end times..we should rejoice because of it!

hehehe.
this whole thing was planned long ago.
we are seeing the destruction of the Old Order, and the birth of The New World Order, a Global Soviet (order out of chaos)

their playbook NEVER CHANGES....use the youth to overthrow, call it "democracy", then crack down with military might, bring in the IMF, hand it all over to the UN.

ultimately this thing will be visibly run from Jerusalem.

see if you can spot the United Nations "language" in this other set-up, the one that will ultimately be running the show (same group that set up the UN to begin with!! LOL!)

Structure of the United Noachide Council

The United Noachide Council must be a loose federation of Noachide councils, so as not to diminish the national character of each Noachide nation. The Structure of the United Noachide Council perhaps could be pattern after the United Nations General Assembly. Theoretically there should be 70 courts, one for each nation. Each Bnai Noach court has the role of prophet, oracle or interpreter of Torah for that nation. The court functions as a House of Scholars. The Bnai Noach court does not function as an executive branch, but it paired with a democratically elected House of Representatives (or Monarchy). The laws for one nation (for example polygamy, or sacrifices) may differ from nation to nation. Every Bnai Noach should become a "citizen" of one of the courts, because you can't mix and match laws. That tikkun comes when the nation-states work together while retaining their unique identity. Each court would interface with the UNC Supreme Court or perhaps directly with the Sanhedrin.

In practical terms this could involve an "General Assembly" where
  1. Each nation would have equal status
  2. The General Assembly can pass non-binding resolutions on common causes and issues. The site would open to this page with history, information & resolutions (like un.org)
  3. The site would host a collection of nationality rooms which would give enough history and culture to allow a Bnai Noach to know which one he should become a 'citizen' of.
  4. A membership mechanism for allowing Bnai Noach's to become a 'citizen' and fall under the jurisdiction of a court.
  5. Each court would pass judgment on the faith and/or civil laws of that nation. Issuing proclamations.
  6. Each court would interface with a set of diplomats (similar perhaps to the Sanhedrin's court of Nation and State) who would work to try and influence religious and civil authorities to come in line with the Bnai Noach's courts' rulings.
  7. The role of the Sanhedrin, Bnai Noach High Court, Bnai Noach state court, and Bnai Noach 'citizen' would have to be made very clear.
In the future the UNC can set up Noachide judicial courts. The function of these courts will be to perform marriages, arbitrate contract disputes, divorce, and small claims. As provided within the laws of most host countries to voluntary religious courts. The UNC is absolutely committed to halachic, Rabbinic authority. The UNC will be organized regionally, with different organizations attending to the special ethnic and cultural needs of the region. For example, It is possible that a UNC court providing services to formerly Indian Islamic Bnai Noachs will rule differently than a UNC court providing services to formerly American Evangelical Bnai Noachs. In terms of Jewish law, a Bnai Noach is permitted everything except what is specifically forbidden by the Seven Noachide laws, however he/she is also bound by their "nation's" laws, which includes both civil and spiritual laws.

Every region will have two bodies: judicial and management. The Judicial body is as mentioned above, who's authority is derived from Rabbinic sources, the management body is mean to democratically express the needs Bnai Noach in terms of vote, popular resolutions, etc. The UNC will set up a diplomatic organization to lobby for acceptance of Bnai Noach principles in the civil governments where the Bnai Noach are found. The UNC will maintain a regional list of members, to assure that members restrict their participation to only one type of Bnai Noach court.

Other projects might include: a list or review of Noachide websites and maillists; a list or review of Noachide books and publications; a list of Rabbis and Beis dins available for submitting questions; a classification of the approaches; a detailed discussion of the main approaches; a history of the movement (for all time periods); a discussion of the seven laws and their sub-laws; a legal discussion of the non-Noachide court system and its relationship to BN and Jews (Jews too have a requirement to obey the law of the land, to a point), etc.

What is a Bnai Noach Nation State?

The question remains is what is a Bnai Noach "nation state"? Is it religious, ethnic or civil?
The simplest approach would be to define a Bnai Noach "nation state" according to geographic region, but then there could be an unrelated mix of religious and ethnic issues under one court. Another approach would be to define it religiously. I prefer this approach. For example what if some formerly Islamic Bnai Noach's wanted to offer sacrifices outside Eretz Israel? This could be a good and proper thing to do, but wouldn't mean anything to former American Protestants. However it wouldn't do to call them "former Christians", "former Muslims", "former Bahai". Perhaps the Rabbinic pseudo-names could be used, Children of Esau, Children of Ishmael, Children of Keturah, or to put in more modern language the "Esavite Nation", "Ishmaelite Nation", "Keturite Nation".

This has the advantage of people seeing the immediate connection with Genesis and the 70 nations. Constant, immediate connection with the Scripture and authentic rabbinic tradition must be upheld at all times by the UNC. The difficulty arises that outside the major religions and ethnic groups, the names are not so clear in rabbinic sources.

If the religious division is used, a website could be created with "nationality rooms". Each room could contain a judgment on what is and isn't allowed from the national religion, for example one could go through the Nicaean Creed and say Yes, No, Yes, No to what was allowed under Bnai Noach law and what was not. If this is given Biblical basis, then it would be possible that these courts could be seen as reformers, not just opponents of existing faiths. "Diplomats" could work to get laws passed in line with Bnai Noach rulings, e.g. for or against abortion, gay rights, etc.

The Mission of the Jewish Nation

The task of the Israelite Nation is to "carry" and keep alive the Torah, just like they carried the "ark of the covenant" through the desert.

Based on the works of Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzatto: "The way of G-d", Chapter 4, Israel and the Nations, we can understand: [Each of the 70 nations has its own unique purpose. When building a house, many skills are needed: Architect, Draftsman, Cement pourer, Brick layers, Electrician, Plumber. Just, as only the draftsnan is privy to the intentions of the Architect, only to the Jews has the Torah been revealed. They have the responsibility of faithful transmitting the intentions of the Architect so that the original purpose of creation can be known to the world.] The deeds of the nations, on other hand, [have their own purposes, and are not required to maintain and make available the Scriptures to the world, so they] do not add to or subtract from the state of creation, nor do they cause G-d to revel Himself or withdraw. All they can do is bring about their own gain or loss, [they must concentrate on their mission in building the "house"] and strengthen or weaken their own directing angel. [Each nation benefits from the miraculous revelation of Torah to the Jewish people at Sinai, by pulling out of the Scriptures (besides the basic laws that all must keep) elements which are related to the part in rectification of the world. The ability have certain elements of Torah "relate" to national soul of a Noachide nation is their "angel". When a nation follows the teachings of Torah/Scripture that are needed for their rectification, they "strengthen" their 'angel' (ability to feel G-dliness), and the opposite is true].

btw: this isn't Moses and The Prophets (even if we WERE under The Law - it's Babylonian Talmudism, the same Christ condemned.....and these guys aren't jews anyways:rolleyes:).

Rev 2:9
“‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Rev 3:9
Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and they will learn that I have loved you.

Rev 16:9
The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.

I keep up-to-date with what news I can in egypt. I must say it is a promising time after almost a month of protest, it shows a constitution is only as strong as the support, the day egypt converts to democracy; which looks to be on the horizon, is the day i'll be most proud of them.

Libya and Iran have moved to shut out communications and news from egypt and quash any attempts at organized protest from the roots. There is still much more to be done in the world, but I await with anticipation.
