I find that the only good way for me to read John's vision is to read it just like it is wrote, and to just let the words form pictures in my mind of what he was seeing. Otherwise, all the symbols and hidden meanings and everything else just gets in the way of what God is trying to show me.

I guess Im looking for a common thread in Jesus, that rests on all heart that follow Him.
BY the way, this is not because of all the hype about 2012, or ay other worldly prophacy.
This is more about a desire in Jesus, for all to be ready in mind, heart ,soul and spirit.
So please share what is on ones heart, or scripture that Jesus asks be witnessed to.

I have read through revelations the last two nights, with as you said, simply trusting in Jesus and not trying to make sence of it all.
I am amazed at the simple message I could see.
Im not able to quote the various scriptures, my weak area, sorry.
But in Jesus, through the Holy Spirit I did begin to recieve some inderstanding.
I had said before that I saw two parts, but now, I was given the impression of three parts.
One was to speak the gentiles that have accepted Jesus.
Another was to Isrial, bringing in the prophacys of the OT .
The third part spoke to the joining of both as one in Jesus, and bringing the events to all.
I saw the first beast as more a false belief in a false God like world, that will seek to destroy any that refuse it, it will involve several nations taking hold of the world with these beliefs, but they will have a falling out a tempory breakdown.
Then again, with a new leader, this will again be established, with the final antichrist in lead, he will bring destrution to any that speak against, even though the downfall is obvious.
Im not totally sure about this but it is the impression I am given so far.
But all is of course open to testing in Jesus and interpitation.
I do see the thousand year reign, I find it interesting that satan will be bound, this makes me wonder if this is a time where all remaining will be able to choose, without the temptation of satan.
Anotherwords, if one does not choose Jesus, it will be not of deception, but compleatly of ones own will. But Like I said, Im no scholor on this and am very open to correction on this.
Then the final judgement, and evil is concered.
The kingdom of God will be here on earth, joined through Jesus.
Any way, this is a basic impression, and I know I have much to learn in Jesus.
What was good is that I no longer saw in confusion, but was able to see these prophacys as real in the world, not confused or unable to make sence of it.
I know the disscussions and debates will continue, simply because this is how the truth is sometimes found.
But I feel more rested abut it all, and less overwelmed.
The basic massage still stands strong, that this is God's final judgement and Kindom established here.

Yep, just about what I see from reading this vision. The one thing which has always and still does stand out vividly, that makes me fear and tremble, is the vision of Jesus as He is, when John first sees Him. We think we know Him, but do we? John was the disciple whom Jesus loved, who used to lay his head on His breast. And when he saw Jesus, it was like he was struck dead.

I have the strong feeling that this revelation will come to us all, when we see Him.

Interesting , I have never really considered this.
I always simply looked to Jesus no longer apart of the world, not that He ever was.
But, Jesus had overcome the world, yet was in the flesh, I wonder if this is what we will know and be in Him, if we hold out to the end?

Hi Pickles,

The message I have been hearing, for 20 years now from the Spirit, is that I must live in Jesus. Over and over, in so many different manifestations, always the same, "Live in Jesus!" he lived in, still lives in His Father. It is how He overcame the world and the devil and the flesh when He took on our form for us, to gain the victory for us. We have already overcome the world and the devil and the flesh in Him.

This message has been lost in obscurity for a very long time. Some have always heard, but most have not. Today, more are hearing, and this above anything else tells me that the end is near. Along with the fact that anyone who hears and proclaims this message is considered to be a messenger of Satan by many.

Just tonight, I was again reminded of just how important, how paramount this message is. I heard the Spirit speak a passage about the appearance of Jesus, about not shrinking away from Him in shame at His appearance. But I did not remember where this passage was. Then, in answering another thread, about the Spirit's role in teaching us as John writes in his first letter, there it was. The anointing which He has given us teaches us all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as this anointing teaches us to abide, to live in Him; so we should live in Him. And if we live in Him, we will not shrink away from Him in shame when He appears.

But even now I know shame, for the times I do not love in Him. For always, those times are full of sin. But when I live in Him, there is no sin.

We can only truly overcome the world, the flesh, ourselves, even death which is at work in us, when we live in Him, in Jesus Christ. For it is truth that we have died and our lives are hidden in God with Jesus in heaven. Nothing else that I might do will even begin to prepare me for His appearance. It will be difficult even so, to see Him as He is now.

VW, the importance of holding on to Jesus, and recieving the help, teaching , guidence, comfort and love of the Holy Spirit in Jesus is becoming more obvious every day.
With the confusion, deceptions, and corruption of who God is.
Jesus Christ is Lord is not only the sacrifice that saves us, but the very substance, salvation that will bring us through all difficulties now and that lay ahead.
It is in Jesus Christ is Lord, that we will be saved, not just in death, but in the world now and that lays ahead.
The more that the world tries to take away, confuse, or reject Jesus. The more we can know and see the very salvation that is promised in Jesus.
It is so hard to watch so many fall for the false teachings of Jesus being less than who He is.
I often wonder that the very name, Jesus Christ is Lord! is so easly being dissmissed, when this is the very one we are called to and told ,will be what saves us.
May we all be strong in witness to this in Jesus, to His name, His salvation, His gift of the Holy Spirit!
For this is our guide to the day of His return!

My personal believe is that we are in the season. There is a lot of people that don't want to hear it, But remember Our Lord's words to the church in Laodicea 'I council you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to on your eyes, so you can see.', They thought they were rich and had need of nothing, then as now God knows better.
The signs are there.
Only God knows the day and the hour but we should be able to tell the season.

to know the end times one must understand the ot prophesies and the book of revelations that has been opened by the lamb. in short , if you read rev.ch.6:5.6 is the black horse ,black pictures darkness
this world is now in darkness ,the world is now experiencing problems, dont know where to go,how to solve the problems it is facing ,the secular world and the spiritual world(christian world) food being measurd.prices going up. it says dont hurt the oil (oil prices will go up and up )

Jesus became as us, fleshly beings. As it is written, He humbled Himself. I have a hard time imagining anything more humbling (other than the death on the cross, which He also endured,) than becoming a flesh and blood being. And the flesh is tempting. As we know from when the devil tempted Jesus, the temptations were fleshly in nature. Hunger, pride, and doubt.

But He overcame.

How?

By abiding in His Father. By being focused on His Father every moment of every day.

How do we overcome in the same way?

By living in Jesus, every moment of every day.

That is what I mean.

Matthew 6, verse 34, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

If the end times are indeed just around the corner, we have a lot of work to do.
