I asked God about this and He showed me a dream. He showed me people read Scripture for knowledge and not for eternal life. That they seek not to be ONE with Him and Jesus Christ. The seek not a NEW nature as to not sin, they love sin, even the secret sins we do alone in our rooms, bathrooms, etc. WE must hate these sins and ask God to give us a new nature ... to be ONE with Jesus and with GOD.. now.. here on earth. They seek wisdom,not to be sin free with the Spirit of Christ, but to have knowledge, that they treat the Gospel as the tree of knowledge and not the tree of LIFE. That behind wisdom is the serpent, not that wisdom is bad, but WHY you want to be wise... the motive is bad for most. They seek to be wise to impress men or to impress God... not to overcome temptation and to receive Heaven within and Christ's LITERAL SPIRIT in them now. HE IS HOLY. SEEK TO BE PERFECT AND HOLY. ASK FOR THIS.
John 17:20 -“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
The reason is that the Holy Spirit is something that is given by GOD once and only ONCE we HATE SIN so much as to cry to God saying we want to STOP sinning but cannot stop... but want to so bad that we are so broken about it AND STAY broken about it UNTIL HE gives us the SPIRIT in full.
I tell you, Christ literally enters people and takes over and kicks their old WILL out. HE is stronger than us and HIS WILL will overpower anyone who is TRULY in Christ. THAT begins with the HATRED for being a prisoner of sin... WE should be reading the GOSPEL for one reason, to GET SOMETHING FROM GOD.. what? JESUS IN US NOW, literally HIS SPIRIT in us, not saying we have the HOLY SPIRIT when we believed but HATING SIN to the point of tears that GOD gives it to us when we do not turn back to our sins.
THEN Jesus works in a person until sin is irradiated. SURE we still sin, ONCE in a GREAT while, but its mostly ALL GONE.
· Romans 8:9 – “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.”
· Galatians 5:20 – “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.”
· [FONT="]Ephesians 2:14 - [/FONT]For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
AGAIN if JESUS CHRIST has not been manifested to you within where you can SAY HE SPEAKS to me and HIS SPIRIT has MERGED with mine and I am in HIM and ONE with HIM AND GOD in SPIRIT, then sadly you are not yet in CHRIST.
AND YOU MUST lose your ego, FAST, pray, read and refrain from the world and ONLY SEEK HIM until HE is found.. give HIM 100 percent.. not 90... HE won't take 90... or 99.. .why?
HE GAVE IT ALL... HE EXPECTS IT ALL.
THEN YOU WILL GET ALL OF HIM IN YOU.. once you commit to being HOLY AND HATE SIN SO MUCH as to rather DIE than sin!
DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD, its written in John.
SEEK THE LORD THY GOD... heaven is within you... and it states:
Revelation 3:20 - "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."
John 14:21 - "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
