To be a false witness is a very serious crime in Gods eyes. And to be so for personal gain even worse. When one twists the words of another to discredit, this is not of God. This thing His children never do. Also, to join hands with one normally considered a scriptural enemy for to seek justification in an attack against anothers credibility is akin to blaspheming the Holy Spirit. For one is knowingly compromising themselves and what they believe in, in that unholy joining, once again, for personal gain. This also, those of His children will never do. We never abuse Gods Word, there can never be justification in this practice, nor even a want to do such a evil thing just to demean another. And when one does these deceitful things, what manner of spirit within them is exposed for those with eyes that see. And these types are to be noted.

And in their attempt at self justification, they will bombard with mountainous volumes of scripture thrown together hoping to discourage their target by attempting to appear so knowledgeable that their target is cowered in awe. In this method also is another attempt, and that is to confuse with such an abundance of information, that by the end of its reading, one must start again just to recall the point being made. And false assumptions and accusations are present and plentiful. This type come from a very dark place. And God is watching.

And lately, our words are being twisted, and misrepresented in an unrighteous manner by a small few that is unbecoming and impossible for godly children to even contemplate doing, and the opposite of godly is?...well....Anyway, i will never return the favor. I will never accuse falsely and misrepresent for dishonest gain. God forbid. And also, we will NOT be discouraged by this sort, and we are definitely not intimidated, not one bit, on the contrary, we pity such types. And we know their methods they will use, as they have already begun in the manner we expected. But they will not snare us as they hope.

Matthew 19:18
He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear FALSE WITNESS,

Proverbs 14:25
A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful [witness] speaketh lies.

2 Timothy 3:3
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Proverbs 25:14
Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift [is like] clouds and wind without rain.

Proverbs 19:28
An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.

Proverbs 14:5
A faithful witness will not lie: but a FALSE WITNESS will utter lies.

Proverbs 6:19
A FALSE WITNESS [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs 25:18
A man that beareth FALSE WITNESS against his neighbour [is] a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

Exodus 23:1
Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, FALSE WITNESS, blasphemies:

Proverbs 19:9
A FALSE WITNESS shall not be unpunished, and [he that] speaketh lies shall perish.

SO never do what these small few are doing, twisting words and misrepresenting. Or the above will happen to you also..

Regards
Devolution.

"To be a false witness is a very serious crime in Gods eyes. And to be so for personal gain even worse." Actually, to be a false witness is to be UNsaved and bound for the pit of hell, regardless of the motive, personal gain or whatever. It is as simple as that.

MaggieMye, any believer can have an isolated incident of bearing false witness to preserve their own flesh or get revenge on another and God will not send them to hell for that, but He might convict the hell out of them until they make it right. However, a person who bears false witness as a practice with no repentance in their heart as to what they are doing, they are either in a place of serious unbelief or have a seared conscience with no concern as to the consequences of their own actions.

YAWN....

....being a FALSE TEACHER, altering God's Word, misleading His sheep.....'some' do here.

pretty scary stuff.

and of course when they're called on it, it's: "TOUCH NOT MINE ANNOINTED, TOUCH NOT MINE ELECT"

they are authoritative enough to pronounce curses and threaten to bring down judgment on Bereans.

i wonder if they'll come back and publically REPENT and recant their false doctrines perchance the Lord gives them eyes to see.....we'll see i guess.

I was refering to the type of person below:

~ i wonder if The Lord will hold guiltless those who claim such things as, "I LEARN FROM NO MAN - The Holy Spirit told me this..."( when it's evident to most they are WRONG)

or, "God said"; "God told me this"; "Thus saith The Lord"; "I HAVE LEARNED FOR MYSELF, and all who question me are unlearned, all who doubt are MOCKERS and false accusers..." (when it is clear their teachings are false)

Acts 20:30
Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.

Galatians 1:9
As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!

1 John 4:1
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world..

2 Peter 2:1
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 3:16
as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.

1 John 2:6
I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you.

Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

2 Corinthians 11:3
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

~ i wonder - will The Lord hold these men and women guiltless?

Romans 6:17
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
