Matthew 7

Judging Others

1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. 6"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

Remember when you was lost or maybe a member of a different church then you are now, I am sure you didn't want someone trying to Ram their beliefs down your throat so to speak. I think we can win more people to God and the true by loving them and being a friend then Judging them.. I think we need to learn to show them the truth by living it before them not by always posting and saying things that are going to upset them and turn them completely off God..
You win more friends by loving them and letting themknow you Care about them and pray for them, then by basically saying you are wrong is what you believe and are going to Hell for it..
Sometimes I think we forget what Our goal is .. We are to Win souls for God.. Sometimes we get so zealous in our attempt to do this that we end up tearing people down and running them off then we do letting our light shine..
And I know there will be some who disagree with me.. But that is ok you are entiled to your thoughts.. But If this forum becomes a battle ground for any of you I will ask the Mods to remove it..
God Bless you all .

I appreciate very much what you have said in your post. If you were speaking in reference to judging and exposing an individual because of sin, weakness, failure or something to do with immaturity or ignorance, then I would submit to what you have communicated about judging others. The subject that is being addressed is a fundamental error that has put so many believers in bondage to sin and does away with the grace of God. This erroneous doctrine is not from God and the scriptures that are used to support it confuse believers who are not rooted and grounded in the faith. That makes it a very serious issue because of the pitfalls that can happen down the road. I have seen this happen so many times to believers that really love God. They end up being so confused that they begin to question everything they do in their walk with God. They lose their freedom to serve God and there is this subjective fear that runs their life. They enter into self analysis and begin to forget who God is and what He did for them through calvary.

The other side of that is when they turn on others who walk by faith in the grace of God, They question the believers motives in everything they do because of the insecurity of their own foundation that can not hold up when the storms of life beat upon the house they have built. They live in their subjective emotions in the details of life and never have a promise that they can trust God for. They get introspective around those that love God and take their cross and go after God. They do not walk by faith because it is no longer necessary. Eventually they become very carnal and negative in their attitude toward the things of God and give up their faith because they are not quickened by the word of God anymore. They begin to look for others things that stimulate them. Instead of real fellowship with believers they get involved in personality rapport with a few others and develop these soul power relationships. This is so far from being a Spirit-filled believer that walks humbly before God. All this takes place because of the leaven that got into their soul through an erroneous doctrine. You may want to be passive toward this issue at hand but the consequences for some may cause all kinds of serious problems that they may never recover from.

BLC are you only interested in provoking argument. I think it is Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, and most Pentecostal churches (Assembly of God) for starters do not believe in Once Saved Always Saved as a rule. All I can say is your remarks are completely unfounded.

All Pentecostals (COG, AOG, UPC & IPHC) by rule do not agree.

The only charismatics that I know of that do are full gospel baptists, a denomination within a denomination within a denomination.

BLC didn't do anything wrong by my observations, but offered some good analysis(based on the Word). If you find it offensive, then use the Word of God to meekly discuss any differences you may have. Just some 2 cents.......

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Daisy baked a blueberry pie big enough for the whole town to share, and took it to the fair, where she won a prize.

MOVE ON PEOPLE...ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

i am not an OSAS or a non OSAS
but my thought comes from matthew 14 and 1 corinthians.
like judging as in condeming or saying "BLC!!!" and all that is not right
but i beleve we are called to judge in certian ways.
like for example i could use some judgement right now, as i am all over the shop with God and need to get focused again.
and when i say judge i mean like
"hey auchin dude you are not ok, you need prayer and help to get yourself sorted out."
and that persion to do that will be making a judgement, just like if i wish not to live with people who do drugs, i am not condeming them, but i have judged them, by choosing not to live with em.
But like jesus says in matthew like go to your brother and confront him if he sins against you, and like i am sinning against the body of the church the way i am right now, so i need to be confronted, but no1 will do it,
but we are told to, and it then says to go with 2 or 3 and if i still dont listen that the body is to come to me and if i still dont listen i am to be removed from the church, but no1 confronting me is just allowing me to slip more
so that is my thought on the matter

I agree but some would say that our goal is not to win friends for ourself but to bring them to friends with God. I've heard from some people that more souls are won to Christ by preaching on hell and repentance etc than a loving type of Gospel message. I find it's really hard to be friends with someone and tell them truthfully they are going to Hell ilf they dont believe in Christ.
