I Corithians 5:7; "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us."
Matthew 13:33. "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures off meal, till the whole was leavened." This woman is the apostate church which is telling us is divided into three different groups.
The body of Christ starts out pure until leaven is injected. Remember, Judas.
Genesis 18:6; "And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.." The Lord would not have partaken of the 3 measures of meal offered up by the woman Sarah unless it was of no leaven. This woman represents the true church which is again telling us the church is divided into three different groups.
Zechariah 13:8,9; "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein, (9) And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God."
Ezekiel 5:1-4; "And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. (2) Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. (3) thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts. (4) Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel."
These are they that come out of great tribulation. Again, we see three groups. Only God will preserve a small remnant as in Ezekiels skirt that are kepted in truth. The church today has been levened.
