why is the world not interested in the coming of the lord?
this realy amazes me.
there is some good informtion in that post,it gives you knowledge

Because that is how history plays out in the bible. As I am sure you know, it says that in the end, most of the world will not be saved. Its all going as planned, even though its not what we want as Christians.

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Its kind of hard not to be interested in it, especially when you people talk about it every five minutes. All i hear about in here is the end of the world.

I believe that the short answer to this question is "Most of the 'world' doesn't want to believe that there is going to be any coming!". I have said this before but it reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw some time back. "If you're living like there is no God, you better be right." (emphasis added)

well there is people who do some crazy stuff by talking about the end,,,,and to other people they might think well it is important in the future and not important now....We should be prepared for the ending times of the coming of Jesus Christ, and/or the coming of our human death.....either one we need to be ready
