“Imagine waking up every morning with a sense of purpose and importance, the new day bright with possibility and meaning. Imagine going through every dark time in life with hope, knowing that your pain is not unnoticed and that it really will all turn out for the best. Imagine also having someone to thank for every one of the brightest moments, and best parts of your life: for love, success, and contentment.”
“This is the life of a person who had dedicated their life to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Some people know that faith in Jesus promises an eternity in heaven and an unending bliss after death. But not many people realize that Jesus cares about their lives right now, on this earth, and he wants to fill all their days with his joy and peace as a beforehand taste of heaven. Jesus wants not a just distant belief but a close, relationship with every one.”
In the next paragraphs I will tell you; what salvation is; why salvation is needed; how to get salvation; and what to do after being saved?

*What Salvation Is*
____________________________________
Every one is born in sin, and sin had to be punished. So what did God do? He sent His only Son to the earth to take the punishment for us. It says in the Bible - John 3:16;

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, Should NOT perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE.

“Jesus came to the earth, and lived as a human for 33years. During that time, He was tempted in every way imaginable, just like every one else is. But Jesus was the only person ever to live who did not ever sin, not even once. Because Jesus was perfect and blameless, He alone was worthy to cleanse us from or sins. And the only way He could do that was to die for us, because the punishment for sin is death.” Jesus was beaten and abused for our sins. He was nailed to a cross and died so that we could live. The shedding of the His blood on the cross was the only way that our sins would be forgiven.
“But Jesus dying was only half of his work of salvation. After he had been dead for 3days, Jesus came back to life. Jesus had conquered death, hell, and the grave. And it was His coming back from the dead that gives us eternal life.

*Why Salvation Is Needed*
_______________________________________________
It is quoted in the Bible;

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
“That pretty much sums up our need for salvation. Everyone, even myself, has sinned. Sin is doing anything that is against the will and instruction of God, as far as found in the Bible. When someone sins… and we all have… we are separated from God. God is sinless and blameless. God is incapable of doing anything wrong, and those who do anything wrong they are not of God; unless you ask for forgiveness. “If you ask God to forgive you, no matter what you have done or how horrible the sin, God will forgive and forget your sins.

*How To Get Salvation*

“The only requirement is to make Jesus the personal Lord and Savior of your life. You must believe that He is the one true Son of God and count on Him for your needs. Without Jesus, there is no reconciliation with God, and you cannot be forgiven of your sins. Without faith in Jesus, there can be no forgiveness or eternal life. Good works will not save you: even if they far outweigh your bad deeds.” It is recorded in the Bible;

I (Jesus) am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes unto the Father, but by me (Jesus).
John 14:6
“Jesus is calling out to you. He will come and live in you if you let him. He will give you unconditional love and eternal life if you will accept him into your life. When you become a Christian, the Holy Trinity comes to live in you: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Spirit (Holy Spirit). Romans 10:9-10 says;

If you will confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

“God loved you enough to sacrifice the life of His only Son. Won’t you return His love? Won’t you accept Jesus as your Lord and give Him your life so you can live forever in His light? To accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, pray out loud, or even just a whisper. Here is a prayer you can pray to become a Christian:

“Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God, and that you died for my sins. I ask for forgiveness for my sins, and I believe that Your blood washes them away. I invite You to come into my heart and be the Lord of my life forever, and I will do my best to serve You for all of my life. Thank You for saving me and coming into my life. Please help me to always get closer to You, and to act the way you would. In Jesus name, Amen.

“If you prayed the prayer for Salvation, and believe in your heart, you are now a Christian. Jesus lives in you and is your Lord; God is your Heavenly Father; and the Holy Spirit is your Comforter, and the Guide of your Conscience. No matter whom you are or want you have done, He still Loves you and will take care of you: not that life will always be easier, but He will never leave you or forsake you, never let you be destroyed by the evil that attacks you, and He will always be with you unless you reject Him. While you’re alive the light of God will shine through your life to others if you’ll let it.

*What To Do After Being Saved*
_______________________________________________________
The word “Christian” means to be Christ like. “When God lives inside you, He Give you the power to change your life. The presence of the Lord is always with you, and His guidance is there to show you the direction He wants you to go in. The life of a Christian is not self-gratifying, but God gratifying. This is hardly ever an easy process, since it means being torn away from things that are familiar and often pleasurable, but the Heavenly Father only wants what is best for you. The end result is a life full of God instead of a life full of yourself. Holiness will begin to replace sinful passions. Joy will replace loneliness. New meaning will supplant aimlessness. All of this comes only with seeking a one-to-one relationship with Jesus. Realize, though, that living for Christ doesn’t just mean that you say a prayer, get out of going to hell, and live the same life you always have. Salvation is an ongoing and life-long process. It is the daily pursuit of Jesus and a real relationship with Him. It is dying to your own desires and living for God. And the more your life is changed by the word of God, the more you realize the goodness His ways bring to you and how unfulfilling the ways of the flesh are.”
“As a Christian, it is very important to read your Bible and go to church. You can still be saved if you don’t do these things.” Consider yourself as a tree, right now being planted (saved) as a seed in the word of God. If you get food (the Bible) and Sunlight (going to church) then only can you grow roots. If not then you will continue to be a seed and a seed cannot withstand a storm (the Devil’s attacks). “And as Christians, the Devil, especially, will target you for attack, but be Strong! Jesus has given us the victory over the Devil. Only by reading the Bible can you ever hope to understand the ways of God and get closer to Him. Also, going to church will be a wonderful boost to your faith, because you will be around other Christians in worship, and hear messages about the Bible from those appointed to teach it.”
Remember, the point of being a Christian is to have a personal relationship with Christ, and to be Christ like. He is not a distant God, but an intimate friend! The only way to please Him is to let Him have full control over everything in your life. Only then can you experience who Jesus is to the fullest.

*!!! God Loves You!!!*

“Whether or not you’re a Christian, God still loves you. But He can not save you unless you believe in Jesus Christ, as God’s Son. God desperately wants you to get saved. He’s proven His love for you, no matter what you’ve done, by giving His Son, Jesus to save you. Won’t you listen to the voice of God calling to you? There is no other hope. Don’t put it off… none of us are guaranteed tomorrow, or even a second. And when we die, it will be too late to decide.” I heard someone say once, “God is not fair neither are His standards”; Well that’s true if God was fair, wouldn’t we all end up in hell where we deserve. God is not fair but merciful and in doing so he gave us something we do not deserve; and that was heaven. He didn’t have to put Jesus on that cross for YOUR sin; Christ didn’t have to be beaten and nailed to a cross for YOUR sin. So please turn to God, and let Him be the Lord and Savior of your life forever. Thank you so much for reading this and I hope that it changes your life!!! GODBLESS!!!
