they were not made to live forever like Adam and eve did before sin friend. See we are special in God's eyes and He gave us a soul and a mind. Animals do not have souls. and they do not acknowledge and know like we do, saying they have no clue what so ever. We are different than animals, we are greater in God's eyes because we were made that way.

did this make sense for i was trying to put it out better? :)

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." (Genesis 2:16-17)

The Lord God said that "in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Yet, eat of it they did:

6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. (Genesis 3:6)

Did they die that day?

5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died. (Genesis 5:5)

No, he lived 930 years. So what did God mean when he said Adam would die on the day that he sinned? He meant spiritual death, which is, after all, the wages of sin:

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

So, on the day that they ate of the fruit, they died spiritually, which is eternal separation from God. But, there is good news: the good news, the gospel, the gift of God which is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So, spiritual death results from sin, not physical death. Physical death happens to humans and animals in the same way, and is the result of normal, physical processes.

Hi C4

Concerning our level compared to animals.

We have the potential to be lower than animals or higher than angels in Gods eyes.

An animal are all desires and impulses

Angels are filled with longing for God.

Man is a combination of both

Extracted from EJ Brills First Encyclopaedia of Islam.
.

If man submits to his desires then he is lower than an animal. He has the ability to know this is wrong.

If man struggles against his desires and is filled with longing for God then he is higher than the angels.

Animals die because we kill them; we shoot them, we run them over with our cars. Other animals kill them for food. Some get sick and die. Animals were made FOR man.

Because life in the wild is so dangerous, animals usually die long before their maximum lifespan. However, if they survive they do get old and/or sick and die just like people do. Pets attest to this.

Because animals sinned too!
They bite and kill people, they fight with each other... :D

Every living things has it's end...that's just it. :)
If we keep on sinning our relationship with Him is what obviously dies.

i didn't see an unshakable answer...... and i think it is written in the book that death entered the world because of sin,

i.e. so animals would not die? remember animals did not eat each other or other animals before sin entered the world - they were all vegetarians. no question there. and men did not eat animals, so neither man nor animal would kill other animals, before sin.

so would animals age? and die? before sin...... (man's sin; not animal's sin) i think animals obey the creator much better than mankind does.

When a king (Adam)falls so does his kingdom (creation).

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Romans 8:20-22
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned

Think about that verse carefully.

1. Sin entered the world by one man.
2. That man was Adam. Before Adam there was no sin in the world.
3. Death came also by sin.

Now read this passage...

Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

1. Temptation/Enticement -------------> Lust Conceived/Lust Obeyed ------------> Sin Produced
2. Sin brings forth death/death by sin.

Also look at this passage...

Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
Rom 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Rom 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
Rom 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

1. Commandment ------------> Evil Desire/Temptation ---------------> Sin
2. Sin Kills

Remember that God said, "the day that you eat ye shall surely die" (Gen 2:17).

The "death" being spoken of in Rom 7:11 is SPIRITUAL DEATH not physical death. Paul is speaking of SPIRITUAL DEATH.

Now look back at Romans 5...

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

1. By Adam sin came into the world and therefore death.
2. Sin is not reckoned without law (because sin can only kill via taking occasion of the commandment (Rom 7:8), this is because "sin unto death" requires KNOWLEDGE because it is REBELLION TO GOD).
3. None the less sin reigned between Adam and Moses (the time period without the given Law (Ten Commandments) because men still had the light of conscience (Rom 2:14-16). Thus between Adam and Moses people sinned in a different way to Adam, not in the same manner. Adam violated a direct commandment (a given law) whilst those between Adam and Moses violated their conscience.

Rom 5:12 is not teaching the doctrine of Original Sin or anything even close to that. It is simply teaching that Adam led the way in regards to being the first human, in this world, to rebel against God. Technically it was Eve, but Adam was the head figure.

Jesus succeeded where Adam failed. Jesus did not do what Adam did, Jesus instead brought LIFE via not sinning, Adam brought death by sinning.

Physical death is simply due to this...

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

The Tree of Life is what could prevent physical death. Adam and Eve were denied access after their sin. We have inherited the curse from Adam which is simply being born in a troubled, cursed, and sinful world from which God took a step back. God no longer walked with man.

Spiritual death is simply a state of condemnation where one is set apart from God due to rebellion. True life is found in God and to turn away from that is death, even though we still have the full use of our faculties in this dead state. Sinning serves to harden the heart and therefore disinclines people to repent. Thus people find themselves in a state of bondage, dead to God, even though they know better.

It is the Spirit of life IN Jesus Christ which sets us free from this dead state. Read Romans 8:2. The Spirit of life IN Jesus Christ is what sets us free from the law of sin and death. The law of sin and death is that sin always results in a dead state and condemnation. One single sin kills, just like with Adam.

We enter into the Spirit of life IN Jesus Christ through a genuine repentance. A genuine repentance is the breaking of the rebellious spirit we defiled ourselves with through sinning. It is the old man and that old man has to die permanently. With the old man dead the new man can be born. Hence Jesus taught that those whom will lose their lives will save them. He was speaking about the death of the old man, the crucifixion of the flesh, the destruction of the body of sin. With that destroyed we then are able to yield to God and God then does the rest by quickening us spiritually and physically. We are raised back to life where we serve righteousness instead of sin. It is a beautiful thing.

How are we set free from sin?

Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

We are set free from SERVING SIN. That means we no longer obey sin. Jesus died on our behalf so we could die WITH Him whereby this service to sin would come to a stop. That is why the Bible says this...

1Pe 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
1Pe 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

It is the lusts of the flesh with draw people into sin. We as Christians, ought to have crucified the flesh with the passions and desires whereby we no longer allow ourselves to be drawn into sin and thus death. We are set free from this law of sin and death via the Spirit of life in Jesus Christ (an abiding manifest walk).

He who suffers in the flesh has ceased from sin. Read that again. The sin actually stops, we no longer live the rest of our time in the flesh to the lusts of men. We no longer submit ourselves the the lusts of the flesh through which sin is conceived which in turn brings death (Jam 1:14-15) This is why Paul would say this...

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

It is all about yielding. Genuine faith is simply wholehearted yielding to God. Grace is the divine influence of God upon our hearts which teaches us the right way to go (Tit 2:10-11). It is through yielding ourselves wholeheartedly to God's divine influence that we are totally transformed and brought to life. Hence we are saved by grace through faith.

Modern Christianity has generally become so perverted that it doesn't teach any of this. The Bible is so clear in regards to these things and yet the obvious is not seen due to the all encompassing veil that false doctrines produce. Is your mind veiled? Have you been deceived by substitute religion that poses as the real deal but actually embodies those whom are still dead in their sins? Please consider.

Adam was the crowing event of creation and brought sin into the WORLD.....The sin of Adam affects the whole of creation and that is why....

1. All of creation groans and travails waiting for the end of the age and the complete adoption
2. John writes...For God so loved the (WORLD)<---kosmos (whole order of things)

Animals don't sin, they are victims of sin, as was Christ. We live in a fallen world where pain, hunger, and death exist because of our sinful nature. Unfortunately, God gave man dominion over all the earth and animals (Genesis 1:28). Sometimes I wish God gave animals dominion over us, the world would probably be a better place. :)
