STARS (two types of stars)
I Corinthians 15:40,41; "There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. (41) There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory."
....the glory of the celestial is one..........this has to do with the heavens...sun, moon and stars (physical ..stars)
.....the glory of the terrestrial is another.......this has to do with worldly, earthly (God here is pointing to the spiritual ..stars)
God is telling us there is a division. Physical and spiritual. We need to look at what the scriptures are saying here.
Lets again look at Job 9:9; "Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
Orion and Pleiades are constellations. Arcturus is a star located in the constellation Bootes. It can then be considered both a constellation and a star.
These three constellations are three divisions God is telling us.
Arcturus is the Great Bear and is linked to the bear in Daniel chapter 7.
Orion is called the Great Hunter and is represented by a hunter with a club in on hand and holding up a carcase of a lion in the other. The carcase of the lion would represent those christians killed for their faith in Revelation. Orion faces the constellation Taurus, the Bull.
Pleiades is referred to as the 7 sisters. It is located within the constellation Taurus whom Orion is facing.
The scriptures are telling us not just about the stars here that we see, but something much deeper who those stars represent in the spiritual.
Psalms 147:4; "He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names."
telleth......(#4487 Strongs) ....properly, to weigh out; by implication, to allot or constitute officially; also to enumerate or enroll:--appoint, count, number, prepare, set, tell. (remember the scripture that says they are counted for the seed)
calleth.....(#7121 Strongs)...through the idea of accosting a person met; to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications...that are bidden, call (for, forth)..., invite.. ( in Revelation those that are called)
Revelation 19:9; "And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."
Zephaniah 1:7; "Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests."
Matthew 22:8; "Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy." (...they were "all" called)
"Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south."
Chamber...(#2315 Strongs) ...an apartment (usually literal):--(bed) inner) chamber, innermost (-ward) part, parlour, +south....The under--definition means; a primitive root; properly, to inclose (as a room), i.e. (by analogy,) to beset (as in a siege): --enter a privy chamber.
Isaiah 21:1; "The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from the terrible land." (remember tho dry the wilderness shall become a fruitful field)
SOUTH...(#5045 Strongs) a pasture (i.e. open field, whether cattle are driven); by implication, a desert ..south...wilderness.
Luke 12:55; "And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass."
Matthew 24:26; "Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not."
Secret chamber (#5009) ( a disperser or distributor; akin to temno, to cut (like a sword) a dispensary or magazine(indicates military), i.e. a chamber on the ground-floor(close to the earth) or interior of an Oriental house(indicates East....Isaiah 46:11) (generally used for storage or privacy, a spot for retirement):--secret chamber, closet, storehouse.
The chamber on the ground floor indicates its closeness to the earth for they are the beasts of the earth. And then this has the indication that it is linked to an Oriental house. The Orient is located in the east. There are a couple of verses that refer to the east and what comes from there.
Isaiah 46:11; "Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it."
Deuteronomy 28:49; "The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle(the eagle is a ravenous bird) flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand." (cannot understand the deeper language of scriptures)
Hosea 8:1; "Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law." (they have again become legilistic)
Habakkuk 1:8; "Their horses also are swifter then the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far(east); they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat."
Zechariah 8:7; "Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;"
Amos 5:8; "Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name. (yea tho they walk through the shadow of death...Psalms 23)
The Lord turns the shadow of death into the morning. The Multitude will walk through the valley of the shadow of death..,yet the Lord will turn it into morning for He is the bright and morning star.
He makes the day dark with night.....A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness..
The scriptures are speaking a deeper language. They are telling us of events and of people who will be going through all these events. They are opening up to us. The bible is a wonderful book.
