A harp falls under the category of a stringed instrument, as does an electric guitar or any other stringed instrument... that includes the lute
A timbrel/tabret falls under the category of percussion, as does the snare drum, or any other type of drum... that includes cymbals and the Mena'anim

im not so sure you are limiting God as you are limiting men making noise that CLAIMS to be worshipping God. Much rock seems to be more focussed on men, even Christian metal, and indeed the music does have its own lyrics which may be not at all Christian.

I know a man older than I am, who is always off key, cant sing worth a crap, and yet from the words coming from hos heart, i KNOW God hears him and hears his voice to be so much more beautiful than anyone else there.

and NO, it is NOT the same thing with Christian metal. you damn and condemn it because you dont like how it sounds, because it doesn't fit YOUR view of God, and it doesn't fit in with YOUR religious view of God...

I've already shown that these musical instruments are in no sense satanic or demonic...

God gave us these instrument to do with them as we please.We can glorify Him with them or blaspheme Him with them... this narrow-minded view of music is like saying a saw is evil because it can hurt people... you have the tools to make a house: brick, wood, nails, hammer, and a saw, but you deem the saw is evil... "the saw is evil because it hurts people; even in tradition, it is said that Isaiah was sawed in half. Another reason to not use a saw."

Come on now! God gave us a brain to use, and instead of becoming the Sanhedrin, let us use our brains! the sound that comes from a musical instrument is like the human tongue: it is the rudder of a ship. It can be used to hurt one and encourage another. Depending on how we use these tools, we can either glorify God, or curse Him.

those witches use the psalms out of context to curse and blaspheme God, like many other Christians do when they distort the Word of God for their own personal gain. I have quite a few friends who are in Christian metal bands who worship the Lord through their music... it's beautiful to hear.

First I doubt witches chant Psalms and second that would mean that chanting is evil, which it clearly isn't. Theres dozens of varieties of chants employed by Catholic and Orthodox Christians.

You know a lot of people will disagree with me on this but im gonna say it.its good to praise God amen thats true the Bible says to do so.but first rock music like heavy rock and screeching rock is demonic. The music sounds r hard n vicious thats the way it is in the worldly music.but now people wanna put that music into worshipping God ok now im not against the words in Christian metal if its saying praise Jesus thats good. But if its just saying like I used to be alone but now ur with me and sounding like its praising God but there's nothing that says like glorify the Lord Jesus then there's a problem. Because wolves come in sheep's clothing and some people r like using God to get money.not everybody but their r some who do that and try to mislead people.there r certain pastors who do the same thing.but I can't understand how someone can praise God in a screaming screeching voice with that very hard aggressive music sounding behind the words. Imagine going into a church n thats the music they r singing to God during their worship then the devil made his way into the church n laughing at the saints because they have no clue what they r doing.the devil lies to them n says its ok but Jesus himself said the devil is the father of all lies he can tell us any lies n we can believe him very easily. Do u think in heaven ur gonna hear heavy loud screeching music up there that music is not joyful it sure doesn't sound peaceful.
