if i heard a voice in my head claiming to be God and telling me to kill someone, I would pray and ask God to save me.
Jesus knew He was to be cruxified and prayed about it that the "cup of bitterness pass" from Him but He was willing to do God's will. JESUS tells us that He came to SAVE people and not CONDEMN them.

Yes, and you may be just that alternative. I think the situation is pretty serious. You should DEFINITELY talk to someone about this, his family or even the police, whatever may be more effective in stopping him from going through with his plan and also getting him the help he needs, psychologically, for HE IS DEFINITELY ON A WRONG PATH. Do it before it's too late, please. If someone says he's gonna kill someone TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY!!!

Yes I know its obvious that's hes on the wrong path but hes like my best friend and I can't have any argument against him that's why I came here. Look basically his argument is this.
GOD has instructed humans to kill other humans in the past
All Christians think that the killings back then were justified
Well what if GOD instructed to kill in this period of time
Should we ignore this instruction?
Should GODs will to kill others only have been carried out before the new covenant?
So basically if GOD tells you to kill someone now, we shouldn't do it because GOD doesn't do that anymore only in the past?

Jesus came and gave us a new covenant to replace the old one. its in Romans: How is killing someone living peacefully with them?
