If it comes to the golden rule. I'm sorry for all things I consider bad, and should repent to the extent it makes the world a better place. I do not consider unbelief a crime. If I somehow believed in hell as a threat for unbelief, whilst unbelieving. Changing my beliefs because of a threat sounds like intellectual dishonesty.

Thats just it. The Gospel is not "bad" news, it is Good news. It is salvation purchased by God. I am not a hellfire brimestone teacher. I am an eternal life teacher. Jesus said he did not come to judge, he came to save.. That's the good news.

And yet your right. If you want Christ just because you scared of hell. it would be dishonest. He wants you to want him.

hell was made for the devil and his angles and hell is for ever or their would have been no reason for God to die on a cross
