How do you feel about what people chat about on here?

and thats just wrong! how can they rip someone for discussing God on a relevant site? this is why i tend to stay within my church group - but its difficult because I would like to stretch out into further areas and meet new people and stuff. but its so hard when people dont wanna talk about God.

You can see them by their fruits, it is only a matter of time and you will see the true colours,revealing it self before your eyes. Talk is so cheap, people can say great things,like God is great Gods Loves us,you must be in the Lord, the Lord this, and the Lord that. You just wait, and the true colours will show. this is exactly what God is talking about, and he is not happy at all.

I enjoy seeing debate. we are not supposed to get rusty but be iron sharpening iron. I don't think we need to be particularly snarky about it though

Agreed. If two people can debate an issue with all due respect to one another and without holding a grudge or unforgiveness then there's nothing wrong with discussing controversial issues. However, if people are going to take things personally, calling one another names and accusing one another being apostate just because the other person refuses to see things the same way, then they shouldn't debate at all and stay away from the boards all together. Because both are only doing harm to themselves and others by doing so. Not a Christian mindset at all.

And by all means people need to familiarize themselves with what the bible constitutes as the means of salvation. That is salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and in faith alone. I can't tell you the number of people who insist that another person isn't saved just because someone else refuses to adhere to some rule or tradition that a particular belief system has attempted to add to the Salvation experience.

The problem is we all don't believe in the same things. Ten people take a verse and there are ten different views on the verse. The devil has done his job well. The most important thing you can learn is to love people even if they don't agree with you and to pray good things for them just as you would pray for you and your family. This can be a learning tool for you to be here. If you can not get the love thing then it will be a horrible place. There are lots of people here who have no love. There are lots of people I don't read there remarks. They used by Satan. There are some I love to read because I know any time I see what they say I am hearing words from God. When you are weak ask him for strength. You must have a stronger shell from God to survive in this world. Put your armor on. We can not be mad and be used by God.

this is true also. because we are dealing with the eternal and spiritual lives of others - do we really wanna be feeding our spirits "Junk food"?? This is a really interesting topic you have started PartyxPoisonxKid. I've been feeling the same way as many of you, who have responded. I have just one thing to say about it, in Jesus own words:
