  • Well the Bible is simply not clear on this subject, so we shouldn't have any doctrine on this matter

Actually Paul did CLEARLY forbid women from speaking in church, let alone TEACHING . People try to flip it and "Apologetic" there way out of keeping it, explaining that it was for the "corinthian" church , but paul clearly states that teh rule was for all congregations . Not only did paul say they cant speak (the word is speak and not "scream" and makes no mention that the church was particularily louder ) . but he also said tha tthey cant even ask questions which is the opposite of teaching , and which covers teh whole spectrum of speaking period . It is clear , according to paul, women cant speak AT ALL in ANY congregation (unless they are prophesizing apperantly) . However, i dont agree with that rule of pauls so i dont forbid women from speaking in my presence or from even attempting to teach me something .

What would you call Mary and the other ladies that went to the tomb after Jesus had risen, they were the first people to preach the Gosple. These women preached the Gosple with their report of his d/b/r. Continue to study to show yourself approved to God.

Krma_girl is teaching us that there should be no woman preachers therefore she is contradicting her own advice. I believe scripture says she should pass this communication onto her husband who is the proper authority and then he may post the thread to teach us that there should not be woman preachers.

i am not preaching i am merely stating my own opinion :p

women should not be permitted "to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." (1 tim 2:12) but it is fine to for a woman to preach to other women....just not to men.

i do however believe that this is for the church as "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission." (1 tim 2:11)

But women are not inferior. Men and women are equal, we just have different roles

We have to look up the meaning of words, when you say women preacher's ....Let's ask the question, what is Preaching/Preacher........Preaching is tell the good news. God has call believer to share the gosple/the good news, which is the d/b/r to all. That has nothing to do with roles of a men or women....the question should be spiritual role.........not only that, in God's eyes, when it comes to the gosple /or the good news, there is no gender because he is talking about the location of your soul after death.
RECONCILIATION IS THE MINISTERY FO ALL BELIEVERS...NOT GENDER....OR ROLE..IT'S ABOUT SOULS! Please don't miss the purpose.

I believe women can teach and preach the Word of God. You need to understand the history back then the way of costume was set up. Back old days, women are not well known educated.

Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

A prophet has no authority and a prophetess or prophet is different than a pastor

why cant there be women preachers ??
no one ever said that there couldn't be women preachers see again just as eve did, women have twisted things around. the thread was about denominations And I said that a denomination that had women PASTORS were not lined up with the Bible. I never said anything about women preachers if you don't know the difference, maybe people still aren't as educated as we think

1ti 3:2A BISHOP then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
I could use the smae tactic to teach that only men will go to heaven/new world .
"Then I looked, and there was the lamb standing on Mount Zion! With him were 144,000 people who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads....They have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins, and they follow the lamb wherever he goes. They have been redeemed from among humanity as the first fruits for God and the lamb."

this verse is talking about men , and on top of that, eunuch men . so only virgin men will be saved.
