Revelation 8:1-5
And when he broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God; and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer; and he filled it with the fire of the altar and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

The Prayers of the Saints and the End of the World - Desiring God

I was listening to this sermon and the end message is that our prayers matter but I can't help but think, I don't think it will be prayers of thanksgiving that the saints will be praying when the seventh seal is open, because the Anti Christ will be killing them and torturing God's people when this event happens and Jesus said that if God did not shorten the days no flesh would survive. therefore I believe they will be prayers of heartfelt suffering and wish for deliverance.

It won't be prayers about increasing a church or selling a book or even having food that day. It will be prayers to join Jesus in Heaven and for the world to end for there will be so much suffering.

can you imagine a world run by the Anti Christ?

Some say this world is already there but you know its a lie. this website would be cause for all of us to die in those upcoming days.

Just thought to put things into focus. the world is complacent. they do not really want to be delivered they want to have a better life, have a better car, have nicer kids, have a good job and live in this world. Only when everything is taken do people give thanks for what has already been given (salvation and a place in Heaven through the death of Jesus Christ for our sins) instead of being greedy ungrateful children fighting amongst themselves and losing focus on God and demanding to be given more and more and more.

Be content with what you have, Your name is written in the Lamb's book of Life. All else will fade and die. Do you know the value of that one Pearl? Have you traded your riches in this world for that Treasure?

what i have in life I know it was a gift from God. I could have died countless times but through God's grace I was saved and I wonder have I dared to love? Have I pointed to God enough to make a mark on things? what will be my legacy? will it be of mercy and grace? will i have the courage to praise HIS HOLY NAME unapologetically?

I don't mind if you have something nice to say about me, but I would rather use your breath to PRAISE GOD's HOLY NAME.

For He so loved us He sent His only Begotten Son and we rejoice because Our God LIVES!

It is through prayer that we develop an all-important personal relationship with the Lord. Paul tells us that we should constantly be in prayer.

sometimes is good and just LISTEN for God's answer to prayers as well.

Daniel 2

19 Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
20 Daniel answered and said:

“ Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
22 He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.
23 “ I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand.”
