    Default Who are the 'Gentiles'?

    Greetings,

"Gentile" is a word that is commonly misunderstood by christians. It doesn't mean what you think it means! When you learn what the Bible really is saying with the Greek word ethnos which is commonly translated "Gentile" then your entire concept of what Christianity means will be wonderfully uplifted and changed.

In most English Bibles the Greek word ethnos is translated as either "gentile" or as "nation". A few centuries ago the English word had the same meaning as the Greek word "ethnos", but today the meaning has been perverted to mean the exact opposite of it's original meaning. Unless one understands what Jesus and the N.T. writers meant by the word ethnos one cannot fully understand the message of Jesus. This is critically important for any christian to consider.

Gentile and nation are English words used for the Greek word "ethnos", which is the root word for our English word ethnic. But Gentile is understood by most people whether Christian or not to mean today as non-Jew. Many modern Bible Dictionaries can be found to descibe the word as; "Gentile: All nations of the world other than Jews." But for anybody who has studied linguistics with Bible history knows this to be false and that the word "Gentile" has assumed in modern times a corrupted meaning. A in depth study quickly reveals the truth. According to Skeats Etymological Dictionary of the English Language. (New York : Pedigree Books, 1980, p.210) the word is derived from Old French and Latin. Walter W. Skeatsays: GENTILE. see Genteel. GENTEEL. (F.-L.) XVI cent.; F. gentil. C L> gentilis, belonging to the same clan, a gentile (afterwards applied to mean well-bred, &c. C L. genti-, decl. stem of gens, a clan, tribe. Alied to genus.

The original use of the word for the English language actually refers to those who belong to the same tribe or clan, a meaning nearly opposite its misinterpreted use in Scripture today - all nations other than Jews, the word Gentile from Genteel in no way can be defined as this, it's meaning which was understood as little as hundred to two hundred years ago was - belonging to the same clan, a gentile!

Gentile does not mean all others but really means excluding all others i.e. limited to a certain sthnic group. Websters Unabridged Dictionary defines the word, "gentile" as "of a clan, tribe, people or nation." The Encyclopedia Americana says for the root word, "gens: GENS, among the Romans, denoted that those persons belonged to the same gens who bore the same name; had no slave among their anscestors: and who had not been reduced from a superior to an inferior condition. The gens consisted of many families, supposedly of kindred blood, but was also applied to a whole community, the members of which were to believed to be decended from a common stem." (1956 Americana, XII p. 401)

It is from the Latin root GENS that we have derived such words as; Genteel, Gentleman, Gentry, Gentility, Genus and Genuine. The Universal Dictionary of the English Language, 1897, Vol II, p. 2286, says: gen-tile, gen-til, gen-tyl, a. & s. [Fr. gentil, from Lat. gentilis = one belonging to the same class, agentile, from gens (genit. gentis) = a clan; Sp. & Port. gentil: Ital. Gentile is thus a doublet of genteel and gentile (q.v).] A. As adjective: I. Ordinary Language: 1 Of or pertaining to any nation; national. 2. Of noble or gentle birth; of high rank; noble II. Technically: 1. Gram.: Denoting the clan, race, or country. B. As substantive: I. Ordinary Language: 1. One of the same clan or family. 2. A person of noble birth or gentile birth; one of high rank."

The original Greek word "ethnos" from which the Latin "gens" and then English "gentile" was translated correctly has exactly the same meaning. When Jesus used the word ethnos he did not mean non-Jews as that is simply not the definition of the word, the word can mean a specific ethnic group or clan of high birth but it can NEVER mean all nations of the world other than the Jews!

The ultimate Greek Lexicon, Liddel & Scott, lists many references to Greek classical literature, and Biblical writings, for definition of the word "ethnos". The definitions are: "number of people living together, company, body of men; particular tribe; a nation, a people; a caste, a tribe; a guild; a relation." (p.480) That is the Greek language known to the Greeks of that day. Biblical Koine Greekis the same. Thayer's Greek Lexicon of the New Testament defines "ethnos" as "a multitude associated or living together, a company, troop, or swarm, & a multitude of individuals of the same nature or genus, & race or nation." (p.168) It is ONLY modern and poorly educated Bible translators and Church institutions who have mistranslated whether deliberately or not the Greek word to mean all nations except Jews, and to be honest the situation has now become quite absurd by any standard. The theological implications of this are immense and I know that many in the higher eschalons of the Christian and Catholic Church along with Bible scholars are too afraid to reveal this truth as for the consequences and the difficulties in approaching this critical study.

You may well ask now just who are the Gentiles? and the answer because of all the lies and falsehoods out there now is very difficult to explain and would take a long time and many would simply not be strong enough to adapt to the truth in a short period of time, but the Bible tells us that in the latter days those that were blinded by God to their true identity, it would be revealed to them just who they really are and where they are from "the eyes of those will see will not be blinded, and the ears of those who hear will listen, and the mind of the hasty will discern truth." (Isaish 32:3-4).

There are so many lies and deceptions out there and I urge all Christians to consider what I have told you, it is essential and God wills it to be known and He will bring those who are His back to their true identity as it is written God will not cast off His people, look to the Word of God.

Mat. 12:18 - [referencing a prophecy of Isaiah, Jesus quotes] "Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgement to the Gentiles (ethnesin)."

Mat. 12:21 - "And in his name shall the Gentiles trust"

Romans 2:14-15 - When the Gentiles (ethne) which have not the law, do by their nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written on their hearts,"

Jeremiah 31:33: "This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law into their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

Hebrews 8:10 - "Into their understanding I will put My laws, and on their hearts I will write them."

Isaiah 9:8 - "The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it lighted upon Israel."

Isaiah 49:6 - "I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth."

Luke 2:30-32 - "For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a light to lighten the Gentiles, and glory of thy people Israel."

Isaiah (Esaias) 1:2-4 - "Hear, O heaven, and hearken, O earth: for the Lord has spoken, saying 'I have begotten and reared up children, but they have rebelled against Me. The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib: but Israel does not know Me, and the people has not regarded Me. Ah, sinful nation (ethnos), a people full of sins, an evil seed, lawless children: ye have forsaken the Lord and provoked the Holy One of Israel."

Isaiah (Esaias) 8:8-9 - Know , ye Gentiles (ethne), and be conquered; hearken ye, even unto the extremity of the earth: be conquered..."

Ezekiel 20:34-36 - "And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead with you, saith the Lord God."

Hosea 1:10 - "And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there IT SHALL BE SAID TO THEM, YE ARE THE SONS OF THE LIVING GOD"

Jeremiah 31:2 - "Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword FOUND GRACE IN THE WILDERNESS; EVEN ISRAEL, when I went to CAUSE HIM TO REST"

Deuteronomy 30:6 - "AND the Lord thy GOD WILL CIRCUMCISE THINE HEART, and THE HEART OF THY SEED, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thine soul, that thou mayest live."

Phillipians 3:3 - "For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Jesus Christ, and have no confidence in the flesh."

Romans 2:29 - Circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Who are the "Gentiles"? They are the House of Israel who were cut off by the Lord and taken into Assyrian captivity, these Gentiles of high noble birth, the great Lost Tribes found grace in the wilderness and became many great nations as they were the seed of Abraham and they fulfilled the promises that God made to Abraham, Israel was released from Assyrian captivity and crossed over the Caucasus Mountains and there they dwelt and became known to history as a 'Great multitude of people" who migrated into Europe. It was to these forsaken children of God that Jesus came for "I was not sent except unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel" Who are the lost sheep? who are the Gentiles? who are the House of Israel that was taken into captivity? Who are God's people Israel who He will never cast off? Who are the people who God sent into the wilderness to find grace and salvation in Jesus Christ The Lord?

Isarel was to become a vast multitude of people! Genesis 22:17

Israel was to form a multitude of nations! Genesis 17:4-6

Israel was to rule over other nations! Deuteronomy 15:6

Israel was to be a blessing to all nations! Genesis 22:18

Israel was to have a new home other than Canaan land! 2 Samuel 7:10

Isarel was to have a land of unwalled villages without walls, bars or gates!Ezekiel 38:11

Israel's land was to be described as a camp of saints! Revelations 20: 7-9

Isarel was to have a NEW RELIGION and BE SAVED BY GOD! Jeremiah 31:7, 31-37

ISRAEL WAS TO CARRY THE GOSPEL TO THE WORLD! Isaiah 49:3-6

Israel was to be blind for the most part to her identity! Isaiah 42:16-19

ISRAEL WAS TO BE CALLED A NEW NAME! Isaiah 62:1-2

It is you Christians who are Israel, you Gentiles of high noble birth who carried the gospel of the Lord Jesus to the ends of the earth, you whose ancestors crossed the Caucasus Mountains and came into Europe, those lost sheep who Jesus charged His Apostles to find are the sons of the Living God who are blind to their identity as the House of Israel and their new name became Christ's Sons- Christians!

Let no man decieve you and listen to the Words long written down, many will try to convince you that you are not Israel so that you do not come into your inheritance, but they are liars and usurpers, your inheritence as Christs-Sons is to know that you are Israel and that Jesus and the Apostles are your brothers and share your heritage and Jesus Christ is Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace who has called His lost sheep back to Him and He will lose not one for He is the Great Shepard!

heck no, Europeans are not Isreal... Your not the chosen people, and reality, there is no chosen.... Gensis 17v7, the seed after thee, so its to all people who live after the steps of Abraham... Faith...Romans 4v12-17.....

But you wrote sooo much, i dont have time to comment on it, but there are so many errors, in your statements, first you cant use a dictionary to define words in the bible, you use a concordance....

Gentiles, means heathens, unrighteous, disobediant.... thats why Paul says is the Gentiles follow the Law, they are Jews, Romans 2v27 - Chapter 3......

And Remember Cornelius, was of the Italian Band, and Acts 15, he was a called a gentile, so Europeans are Gentiles.....

Yeah man your going way off, way off.....

    Get the doctrine right

This sounds like another effort to support British Zionism. The notion that White people are the lost tribes of ancient Israel would be laughable if it wasn't just so stupid.

The term Gentile is constantly contrasted with Jew in the Scriptures. The fact that the commission is to make disciples of EVERY ethnos would indicate that there is more than one nation, not one nation scattered among many.

Genesis 17:4-6 - "As for Me, behold, My covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee."

Romans 4:16 - "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace"

Romans 4:17 - "As it is written 'I have made thee a father of many nations' before Him Whom he believed even God, Who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not, as though they were."

Romans 4:18 - "Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, 'so shall thy seed be'

How is the seed of Abraham identified today? Who are they? Like Abraham their father they have Faith so that it might be by Grace.

    Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

Gentiles. #1484 - "ethnos" - a race (as of the same habit) i.e. a tribe.

The Greek word "ethnos" that was written by the Apostles does not in any way mean - 'non-Jew' - that is a assumed meaning of modern times that has been falsely establish by uneducated hasty minds who who have limited knowledge of the Bible and no knowledge of Linguistics.

And Remember Cornelius, was of the Italian Band, and Acts 15, he was a called a gentile, so Europeans are Gentiles.....
That's right Europeans are Gentiles now go back to the true meaning of the word and think it through again. Have you ever heard of a Lexicon? When we understand Biblical Koine Greek we know what we are reading as it was written. Thayer's Greek Lexicon of the New Testament defines "ethnos" as "A multitude associated or living together, a company, troop swarm, & a multitude of individuals of the same race or genus, & a race or nation."

You had me up until you mentioned Europeans. All of us are Israel now, we are all his people. We have been made sons of God because of his Son. Slepsog4 also brought up an essential point. Jesus told the disciples to go out to all the nations not just a lost tribe of Israel.

The Bible says Mat 28:19 - "Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you"

Mat 15:24 - "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel"

Acts 2:36 - "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, Whom ye crucified, both Lord and Christ."

Hebrews 8:8 - "Behold, days are coming says the Lord when I will effect a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah..."

Romans 9:3-4 - "For I could wish that I myself were accursed, seperated from the Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsman according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom belongs...the covenants..."

Jeremiah 31:31-34 - "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; Which My covenant they broke although I was a husband unto them, saith the LORD:
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; after those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people."

a gentile is a non-israelite. it was not used as a compliment . Even Jesus taught the disciples not to pray like gentiles, and to stay away from gentile cities. Jesus also said that if their brother is in sin adn doesnt repent even after being rebuked to consider him an "ethnos" . Gentiels were only allowed in after the JEws said no , and they are allowd in to drive the jews to jeolousy one day . Also, Abraham WAS the father of many nations . Teh ammonites, moabites were hebrew. Adn abraham fathered ishmael , the samaritans and otehr peoples besides the Israelites, but you are not one of those peoples

Besides the spelling mistakes and grammer errors would you like to quote Scripture to support your claims? as I have done.

This is what is truly important when it comes to those who are jews and those who are gentiles( non-Israelis)

Colossians 3:11-12 In the new life there is no difference between Greeks and Jews, those who are circumcised and those who are not circumsised, or people who are foreigners, or Scythians. There is no difference between slaves and free people. but Christ is in all believers, and Christ is all that is important. God has CHOSEN YOU AND MADE YOU HIS HOLY PEOPLE. he loves you. So you should always clothe yourselves with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

We can see in 11 thateveryone is the same. Europeans, Jews, Greek, all nations. God is not playing favorites. Anyone who belives him will be his people. 12 says that he has made us his holy people. Who are his holy people? EVERYONE as stated in the verse before. All the verses that you have provdded before hand, support my claim. Everyone was the lost sheep before Jesus came. And What does it say? "Christ is all that is important". So, I don't think we should focus on geneology, but rather Christ and everyone he has made a special people...which is "all beilivers"!

I hope we can come to an agreement on this!

The term Gentile, in its primary usage, is an ethnic reference to anyone who is not a Jew. In the original Hebrew, the word Gentile simply means "nation," (or people) but was used by the Jews to refer to the foreign nations/peoples of the world. Hence, the phrase "the Gentiles..." could be translated to "the nations (of the world)...do not acknowledge You, O Lord."

During the Old Testament, God commanded His people (the Jews) to be separated from the Gentiles. One of the reasons God did this was to keep His people from becoming corrupted and contaminated by the various false gods, idols, and sinful practices among the Gentile nations. God had placed a covenant between Himself and the people who would follow and obey Him. The descendants of Abraham acknowledged God and took part in this covenant, while the rest of the people of the world neither acknowledged God nor His covenant. Therefore, in order to protect His people from the influence of false gods and sinful practices, God commanded the people of Israel to be separate and distinguished them from the Gentiles. One of the most notable distinctions which separated Israel from the world was circumcision. Every male Jew was to be circumcised as required by the covenant. The Gentiles, under no obligatory covenant, did not practice this ritual. As a result, the Gentiles have also been referred to as "the uncircumcised."

Since the people who worshiped false gods and idols were called Gentiles, the word Gentile itself came to mean "a worshiper of false gods," or heathen/pagan. Today, the term Gentile has also been used by several religious groups, like the Mormon church, to refer to a person who is not a member of their own religion.

    Yes i do have scripture.

"a gentile is a non-israelite. it was not used as a compliment . Even Jesus taught the disciples not to pray like gentiles, ""And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words."
and to stay away from gentile cities "These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: "Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans;" . Jesus also said that if their brother is in sin adn doesnt repent even after being rebuked to consider him an "ethnos" ""If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector." . Gentiles were only allowed in after the Jews said no , and they are allowed in to drive the jews to jeolousy one day "And so I ask, "They have not stumbled so as to fall, have they?" Of course not! On the contrary, because of their stumbling, salvation has come to the gentiles to make the Jews jealous.". Also, Abraham WAS the father of many nations . The ammonites, moabites were hebrew "So Lot's two daughters became pregnant by their father.37 The older one gave birth to a son and named him Moab. He is the ancestor of the Moabites of today.38 The younger daughter also gave birth to a son and named him Ben Ammi. He is the ancestor of the Ammonites of today.. And abraham fathered ishmael , the samaritans and other peoples besides the Israelites, but you are not one of those peoples.

    .
Well, now you have expressed your opinion, but you misinterpreted what Paul has written to the Colossians, you must read very carefully what the Bible actually says and put down all your preconcieved ideas which you hastily express.

Colossians 3:9-11. "Lie not to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of Him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew (Ioudaios #2453. in a sense of #2455 as a country; Judean.), circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all in all."

OK, so you must read that very carefully and see how Paul is referring to countries or rather nations; that is the Greek meaning of the words, he is not referring to a particular race of people but nations, countries, a 'Judean' is a subject of Judah but there were many ethnic groups in Judah as there were in the northern kingdom of Israel, as there were in Greece and just like their are many ethnic groups in America today. Now, Paul says that you have put on the new man which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of Him that created him meaning that now you know that the Christ is truly the image of God you are renewed by that knowledge and that where the Christ is from and where the image has been created; there in that place there is neither a Greek nation or a Judean nation or a Barbarian horde nor masters or slaves, but Christ exists all in all. Paul is not saying there is no difference to all that he mentioned he is saying in fact that they are different but where the Christ is from there is no such differences.

Young's Literal Translation. Colossians 3:9-11. "Lie not to one another, having put off the old man with his practices and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him; where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman- but the all in all - Christ."

A good tanslation from Robert Young and we see the same message given as in the KJV also a good translation of the verse and both read the same; Paul is explaining that where Christ from, being divine and the image of God, the differences that you have as nations and classes does not exist where The Christ came from, Paul is not saying 'your now all exactly the same, because the Christ is in all of you', he isn't saying that, he is simply saying that all your differences do not exist where Christ is from so having regard for that knowledge you should humble yourselves and be renewed.

It sounds like we are saying the same things. saying " you're all now exactly the same under Christ" and saying " all your differences do not exist where Christ is from" I'd say is basically the same. Cause where is Christ. Is his spirit not in all of us? Therefore, in this new life where Christ is with us, there are no differences. My preconceived notions are just that, we are all the same in Christ because we are renewed in our minds because of our knowledge of Him.

and to stay away from gentile cities "These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: "Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans;" .
All Scripture confirms what I have said for example Mat 10:5-6 - "These twelve Jesus sent fourth, and commanded them saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles (ethnos), and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of Israel."

Now go back to Mat. 4:13-15 and consider carefully; "And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esais the prophet saying; "The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles (ethnos);"

This quotation from Isaiah 9:1-2. Isaiah knew that Galilee was the land of the Israelite tribes of Zabulon and Nephthali. The sentence explains exactly what we know to be true and that is Galilee was not a land of foreigners but BELONGED to and was inhabited by Israel! The Greek word ethnos is used to describe the people of Galilee were Jesus was from - they are Gentiles the word means in English, in Latin, in Hebrew and in Greek - kindred people, of the same kind, of the same tribe, of a high and noble birth.

If you can read the Greek or simple look up the Greek meaning of the words it says "Galilee of our people"

Jesus criticizes His own people often for not going beyond their own familiar local areas where His fellow Israelites live, He is saying "don't go to our own people, or to those we know in Samaria, but go and find the lost sheep of Israel." He and His diciples were Galileeans and grew up in the area of Samaria. Bible scholars consider that He sent them out as missionaries for a short duration, like a test run, after which they returned to Him again for further dicipleship. So, He was sending them beyond the local area in preparation for the Great Commision and the finding of the lost sheep who were dwelling in many parts of the world. Futher more Samaritans were decendants of Israel who had composed the northern kingdom, study your Bible history and you will find this to be true.

    Piano_hero,

Put down your pre-concieved ideas, Gentiles does not mean European, never has. I just gave you the Scripture that tells us of Gentiles being of Galilee, I have given you the definition of the word 'Gentiles' in Greek and it's traditional Latin and Greek meaning and it does not mean 'European', you say that, not Scripture, what saith Scripture?

Look at the word and do not have faith in worldly Institutions that have perverted the meaning of the words.

Luke 7:4-5 - "When he heard about Jesus, he sent Jewish elders to Him, asking Him that He might come and heal his servant. Those who came to Jesus were begging Him earnestly, saying 'He is worthy of having you do this for him, he loves our nation (ethnos) and he built the synagogue for us."

The same word is used as is used for "Gentile", it would read as well "he loves our Gentiles". It was a Jewish elder who argued with that centurian loves "our Nation (ethnos)". Can anyone argue with that? How could it be the Jews were saying the centurian loves "our non-Jews"? That would be nonsense.

John 11:48 - "if we leave him thus, all men will believe in Him and the Romans will come and will take our holy place and our nation (ethnos)!"

Same word! Again refring to ones own people, ethnos translated to nations is the same word translated to Gentiles, God's word is the same, but the interpretation has been corrupted in the last few hundred years because of deception and lack of knowledge.

John 18:35 - "Pilate answered, surely I am not a Jew (Judean), am I ? Your people (ethnos) and the High Preist delivered you to me."

Seems clear enough that Pilate used this same word to mean Jesus' own country men his says 'your ethnos' your people!

"Nation of the Jews" Do modern preachers mean "all the non-Jews of the Jews"? Well they avoid something so obvious by translating it so it sounds okay to the already brainwashed and blinded Bible readers of today.

God calls Isarel ethnos "Ah sinful nation (ethnos), a people full of sins an evil seed, lawless children: Ye have forsaken the Lord and provoked the Holy One of Israel"

So true, Christians have forsaken the Lord and will not listen to His Word but instead trust in wordly institutions who have lied to them.

Just thought I'd point something out that I just dont like. Please dont post OMG... for me this is equal to taking the Lords name in vane & I'd appreciate it if it wasnt done on the threads. Thanks. I realize you probably dont see it this way but out of respect for others who take this as a misuse of the Lords name perhaps you could respect this. Thank You & GBU... maybe change it to GBU... thats an idea.

It does not make any difference the meaning of the Hebrew word is the same as the Greek, same as the Latin and same as the English. I just gave you the Scripture where it states that the Jews are using the word 'goy' to describe their own people, then I gave you a Roman using the word 'goy' or 'ethnos' in Greek which I would remind you is the language that the New Testament was written in, and Jesus Himself calling His people of Galilee 'ethnos' or 'Gentiles' if "Gentiles" means "goyim" then Jesus is calling his own people "goyim" , now that does not mean non-Jew, it only means that those who have been taught the Talmudic interpretation of the Bible, which ever language Scripture uses the meaning is the same - our kindred people, that is what it means.

Let the Bible speak for itself, you can see and read the quotes in the Bible that I have given and it is the Bible that is right and it is the modern preachers and church institutions that are wrong and do lie and follow the Talmudic tradition of the elders.

Gentiles does not mean 'non-Jew', never has and never will, the Bible states this quite clearly. The facts that there is no word for "jew" or "non-Jew" in Scripture is a fact, the word "Jew" and means a subject of the territory of Judea and is only 200 years old, before that time it was "Judean", well what about the northen kingdom of Israel, they were Israelites but they were not Judeans, in fact the first time the word "Judean" is used in the Old Testament in Kings it is used to describe non-Israelites from Elath a conquered forign city! Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are never said to be "Jews", Moses is never called a "Jew", a Jew or a Judean is a subject of Judea no matter what ethnic group there from.

It is only in the Talmud that Israelites are called Jews and Gentiles are called 'non-Jews', there are many powerful institutions in the world today that follow the Talmudic tadition. But we true Christians believe only the Bible and have faith in Jesus Christ and are in Covenant with God Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 8:8-12. This covenant is with the House of Israel and the House of Judah and has been in force since the death of Christ, the House of Israel and the House of Judah are now Christians having been saved by our God, Jesus Christ is our God He is the everlasting Father and Almighty God and we are Christs-sons!

I realize that it must be very difficult to come to terms with what I am explaining to you because you have been lied to, what you need to do is study the Word of God "Ye do err not knowing Scripture" - "The Word of God is a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces!" The "Gentiles" are the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel who are now a great multitude of people and many nations of the earth, "God shall not cast off His people" He is in covenant with them - the House of Israel are the true Christians.
