If you were to research freemasonry(a good start- http://www.letusreason.org/Poptea2.htm) you would find it goes completely contrary to the Word of God. Use the Word as your final authority in all things. That is how we measure ANYTHING as being the truth or not.

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Timothy 3:16

Freemasonry can easily be seen as evil when holding the light of the Word up to it. There have been many former freemasons who escaped it when they became Christians and then exposed and warned others about it! I will leave it up to you to do the research...Freemasons do not believe in the gospel found in the Word of God and so that makes freemasonry a cult/false religion. satan is a master in deception, working quietly under the radar until someone comes around to expose those works of darkness(Ephesians 5:11). Preachers who preach a false gospel will lead people to hell. They must be exposed as heretics!

"Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?" Psalm 94:16
