There is a strange delusion coming into the church, saying that men and women can be servants of Jesus Christ (and KNOW God) -- and be homosexual.

It is one thing to simply say, "I am gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender", and know that you are in sin; or just say you don't believe the Word of God, when it calls homosexuality a sin.

It is quite another thing to claim to be in right standing with God while practicing homosexuality. The strange thing is that these people claim to be in right standing with God, and even attempt to use Scripture to prove themselves -- when the Scripture flat-out condemns homosexuality.

This deception is rampant, and is preying on the weaknesses of Christians. One of the signs of the last days is DECEPTION; Jesus said it was so strong so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

If in Christ, there is neither male or female, then why can't a homosexual be saved?

Brother Israel,
That's not what they're saying -- what they're saying is that they are continuing in PRACTICING homosexuality. A person can BE homosexual, and then REPENT -- we ALL repent of our sins when we come to Jesus Christ; but we don't CONTINUE in our sins.

Secondly, you're twisting that Scripture around -- the Apostle Paul consistently addressed both male and female; and in another letter, asked a slave's owner to be merciful to his slave who had run away [I mention this slave, because in the same Scripture you quoted, Apostle Paul also mentions them: there is no difference between... "... slave and free"]. If Apostle Paul subscribed to your views, he would never have differentiated between the slave and his owner -- which wouldn't have made sense.

Because scripture says so.

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. can an alchoholic be a christian? they repent and try not to drink but at times they still drink. can a drug addict be a christian? they repent and try not to do drugs but at times they still do drugs. can a gambler be a christian? they repent and try not to gamble but at times they still gamble. can a homosexual be a christian? they repent and try not to commit homosexual acts, but at times they still do.

the fact is, when we only had one rule, dont eat from this tree, we messed that up. odds are there isnt a christian reading this today didnt commit a sin in some way. people always seem to take extreme stances, depending on the issue and how they interpit it. an example of this would be homosexuality, most christians will say you cannot be homosexual and be saved. scripture seems pretty clear on this. yet these same christians will say thou shall not kill, and have no qualms about war, capitol punishment or even assassination, for the "right" reasons. the recent osama bin laden thing is a perfect example of this double standard. how many christians are gun advocates and demand their right to take anothers life in defense of their own life. they want to hold strict doctrine over everyone, yet at the same time they have no qualms about ignoring other clearly strict doctrine. everyone reading this knows it to be true, thou shall not kill. pretty simple right? do not kill, period,no exceptions, no justifications,no excuses. will you now look for scripture elsewhere in the bible to justify it? i didnt know one of the big 10 could be ignored by quoting other scripture. i often question how someone can claim to be a christian and serve in any position where they will take part in the killing of another human being. now replace all above words that refer to killing or murder and replace them with the word stealing or adultery or lying. does this change any of the arguments? if so, why?

ALL repent of our sins when we come to Jesus;but we dont continue in our sins, for the most part we want this to be true, but we are still sinners. sometimes after you repent your sins you stop those sins completely, unfortunatly, we find other sins that we then commit. we struggle with our sins and we do the best we can to not sin, the other sins we do commit by accident or misjustification are sins we need forgiveness for.

repent your sins, ask Jesus the Son of God for help, take communion and be baptized. these are the base things we need to do in order to be saved. has anyone done this and still at one time or another commited a sin? of course it why we need forgiveness everyday in our struggle with our sins.
you can say but they are continuing to live in sin, to which i say, who isnt living in sin. is it possible to live in this world without sinning? i only know of one person to have done it. if Jesus cannot forgive people who are continuing to live in sin, then every single one of us is damned. let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Only those who walk after the Spirit and NOT after the flesh will enter. But if you walk after the flesh you will reap corruption. But, if after the Spirit, life eternal. Walk after the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. May Jesus bless you.

Those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, who enter by the narrow gate.

31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31)

13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Who are those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and enter by the narrow gate? Those who are born of God: those who practice righteousness. Those who do not practice righteousness, who go in by the wide gate and the broad way, are not of God.

6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:6-10)

Israel, its just talking about men who WALK IN THE FLESH (and, sin, since flesh has a LAW of sin in it) and "must be destroyed" [Romans 8]; as opposed to those who WALK IN THE SPIRIT (and bear the fruit of the Spirit).

Thanks,

Only those who walk after the Spirit and NOT after the flesh will enter. But if you walk after the flesh you will reap corruption. But, if after the Spirit, life eternal. Walk after the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. May Jesus bless you.

Duewell,
The question is not whether someone SLIPS -- and consequently repents, ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THEY SINNED -- we're talking about people who make every effort to JUSTIFY THEMSELVES IN THEIR SIN, USING SCRIPTURES TO SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT SINNING.
This is dangerous for uninformed hearers.

I don't know why GOD is against homosexuals or doesn't allow that sort of thing but they are who they are. I think that maybe they're getting the wrong idea when the gays tell you they're in the right to not repent against who they are. But still I don't see a problem with homosexuality.

Reikon,
That is the very reason why this subject MUST be talked about -- your opinion is a PRODUCT of the gay agenda -- its what they want to do: affect traditional values.

Homosexuals will not enter the Kingdom of God, because it is a PERVERSION, it is LUST (strong desire) OF FLESH, according to Romans 1:27. WHY does it matter so much? Because if we don't tell them the Truth, they're going to be damned -- but, even more perilous is that they might convince someone who is untaught that their delusion is truth!

1 Corinthians 6:8-10 (New American Standard Bible)

They want to accomplish nothing more than being treated equally, and being safe from discrimination or hatred... Is that so wrong?

I believe the point being made by Daniel has to do with practicing homosexuality as a christain and being approved in it.
We all as sinners seek to overcome sin in Jesus, we also are all called to help each other overcome their sin as well.
It is the approval by some churches and christians using scripture to approve the practise of homosexuality that is at issue here.

I love my nephew, he is a pracicing homosexual, He knows I will always love him and pray for him.
He also knows that I do not condemn him, but he does know I will always speak to this action as wrong before God.
For many years he simply laughed it off, making even more flagrent his choices.
Praise God in the last few years his heart is softening, he is in a great struggle right now, seeking Jesus , yet also wanting the flesh.
But after each battle he accepts Jesus more into his life.
We are always waiting with open arms.
He knows we love him no matter what, he also knows that the reason we will not approve of his chioces is because we love him so very much.
It is this love obedient to Jesus that is giving him the streangth to seek freedom from the practice.
True love in Jesus is with open arms, but also the perfect love spoken with truth in Jesus.
Any Christian that will approve any practiced wrong in the witness of love, does not witness to the true love that is given in Jesus Christ is Lord.
It is the truth in Jesus given, with arms wide open, that brings one to the real love witnessed in Jesus Christ is Lord.
Simply because, real love in Jesus, will always witness to the truth, because true love wants all to know eternal life in Jesus!

In Jesus, God bless.

God would have created two men if His idea was that of homesexuality. SInce He did not why do we have to do things the other way? The wrong way. The christians who practise homosexuality and want to be approved have totally lost direction, are ignorant and most definitely lack knowledge!!

I found out that now the Presbyterians are allowing there single ministers to not have to be celibate, this is to accommodate there gay ministers. They just keep bending over backwards:eek: to make them right at home. Does this mean that the regular church goers don't need to worry about having sex outside of marriage. how much more of the Bible will they disregard.

It just gets worse and worse.

I agree that we all have things in our lives that we still do that we shouldn't. The question boils down to what are we striving to do. The problem with what is going on in the church today is practicing homosexuals are being accepted as christians and in some denominations allowed to be ministers. This is a problem John talks about this in his 1st letter that, those who practice sin(evil) are of the devil. True christians sin, but do not practice it, and it should never become part of your lifestyle.

In the secular world probably not, but if they are living in sin they are not of God. We are to be in the world, not of it. It is sad to see churches becoming of the world and losing their faith. Should homosexuals be treated any different from the alcoholic, the liar, the cheat, the fornicator, the adulterer? NO! They are sinners just like us, but you cannot live a life of sin and be a christian. Christians sin, yes. But we to repent(changed heart and mind) of our sins and do our best not to sin.
