"And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods." Exodus 7:10-12

"But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:12-14

Also read Exodus 7:22, 8:7. Christianity today is in much more trouble than most realize. Not only are there numerous false teachers, prophets and preachers plaguing the church, other elements of other religions are infiltrating much of Christianity. Yes! satan can perform miracles! And MANY will be deceived by lying signs and wonders. Counterfeit gospels which teach another Jesus(2 Corinthians 11:3-4, Galatians 1:6-9) are sending multitudes of deceived followers into the lake of fire.

"The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart." Jeremiah 14:14

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:15

Read these verses which speak about deception, false prophets, etc...(1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Jude 1:3-4, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). satan wont typically appear to be the horned devil many depict him to be. He will appear to many as truth, as good sounding doctrine, and as the light.

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Matthew 24:24

"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." Revelation 13:14

"For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." Revelation 16:14

"And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Revelation 19:20

When Jesus healed, he did not seek publicity for rep points or asked for any money, and some instances he told those who were healed to "tell no man"(Matthew 8:1-4, 27-31). Jesus completely healed(and chose hopeless situations), no half done healings(Matthew 15:29-31, Mark 7:31-37). Jesus and the apostles healed/did miracles to confirm the Word and to show people they were speaking with divine authority(Mark 16:19-20, Hebrews 2:3-4). Jesus had many miracles written down in the Word for us to read so that we would believe on the Son(John 20:30-31). An evil and adulterous generation seeks signs(Matthew 12:39).

The "faith healers" of today ask for money, do it in front of large crowds to amaze them. That doesn't sound like something Jesus would do. In fact, why dont they go and empty out hospitals? I'll tell you why, they are for spectacle and adoration and want your money. Modern day faith healings and signs and wonders are a deception on a LARGE scale. Benny Hinn is a fraud(by his testimony his beliefs are completely contrary to Scripture btw). And so many more false faith healers/teachers...Deceptive miracles are done by the power of the "spirits of demons"(Rev. 16:14).

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

Dont be deceived, the Holy Spirit never contradicts the Word in any way or will imitate something known to be evil(ie: punching somone, kicking, etc). God can heal at His choosing and do miracles, but healing is not always His Will(2 Corinthians 12:5-10). Yes I am speaking out against the charismatic movement. It is very deceptive and wrong. If you were to research ecumenism, the catholic church, and charismaticism you will find one thing in common-unity. It is sad to see many Christians THINK that the Catholic church is part of the body of Christ, when in fact, it is as far from that as east is from the west. The catechism speaks another gospel that cannot save(and for that matter, many other heresies apart from salvation). Christians should not yoke themselves with the catholic church or with any other group that preaches another gospel. Because those who believe another gospel and not the gospel found in the Word are not saved. Yoking the church with apostasy and unbelievers is forbidden(2nd Corinthians 6:14-18, Ephesians 5:11, etc). Promise Keepers are dangerous as they promote eucemenism. Modernism is dangerous because it supports unbiblical doctrine, especially when it comes to salvation. Mormons, Jehovah witnesses, Christian science, Church of Christ, masonry, Seventh day adventists, etc..promote on the large scale, a false gospel(eg: works to save man) and other various heresies.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." 2 John 1:9-11

Every Christian who supports and wishes God-speed to ANY groups who preach another gospel are a partaker in their evil deeds! Every Christian is accountable to God for funding, helping, wishing God-speed to such groups who preach another gospel! If you were to watch news reports and other media you would hear MULTITUDES of world leaders saying word for word about the "new world order". Just what exactly is the "new world order"? I will leave it up to you to do the research on this one. What I will say is that the "new world order" many world leaders speak of is evil, wicked, and is working to unite the world with a one world religion! It's to no surprise that many world religious leaders are working hard to destroy Christianity by uniting them with catholicism, Islam, Buddism, new age, eastern religion cults, satanic occultic religons, etc...Many professing Christian pastors/leaders today are promoting such salvation heresies: water baptism having saving power, Lordship salvation(where one makes a commitment to Christ for holy living to get salvation), and the heresy that righteous living is required for one to not lose salvation...Getting salvation is not about making God a deal, its about having your sins forgiven through faith in Christ. The commitments, holy living, come AFTER salvation as evidence of saving faith. The Passion of the Christ promotes catholicism. Chronicles of Narnia/ Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings, etc all promote and make a spectacle of witchcraft and the occult. If you were really observant, you would see many of Walt Disney's movies actually MOCK the gospel of our Lord Jesus! Not only that, they promote wickedness and many other unbiblical ideas.

I have 2 threads here that I wrote explaining "Biblical repentance" and "one saving gospel". Salvation is not found in commitments, in rituals, in church, etc...But only found in believing in Jesus Christ as the Savior because of your sinnership!

I am sounding the alarm to the body of Christ. There is a terrible deception that has swept through Christianity today. And more and more are being deceived, who will end up in the lake of fire if they do not start believing the Biblical gospel. Many false prophets and unbelieving leaders have hijacked many Christian churches for fame and money at the expense of Christianity! I do this because I truly care. If I was really mean and rotten to the core, I would ignore this and keep my mouth shut. satan laughs at every person who is deceived, and sadly many will find out that they were lied to when they die. Many will follow the path that leads to destruction, but only a FEW will be on the path that leads to life(Matthew 7:13-15).

Just joking mate, you're not a fraud. I just don't see the point of calling preachers or anyone frauds or not when they preach the gospel, people get saved, people get healed, God will deal with the individual person if they are off track.
Frauds to me are those people that claim they are Jesus returned for the second time. There's one guy in Brazil or somewhere isn't there.

roaringkitten,

Some will only submit to their own understanding of some of the scriptures, but have no intentions to submit to the whole of God's counsel. They will never understand nor be a partaker of the fullness of God. We will all have to give an account to God for that. Don't let those that love to antagonize your faith and your spirit have a place in your response. Our response of faith and love in our walk, in our relationships, in our words and in all things is always toward God.

Remember; 'And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places' (Isaiah 32:17,18).

Romans 1:29-32
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murders, debate, deceit, malignity; whispers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they that commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

So it is not only those that live in sin that are worthy of death, but those that accept it and or take pleasure in those that live in sin.

1st Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornication, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Pretty clear, there is no if, and, or buts, those that live in sin will not make it to heaven.

Colossians 3:24-25
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

We that serve the Lord shall receive our inheritance, but those that commit sin shall also receive what they deserve. God will not turn a blind eye to your sin, while judging others for theirs, for there is no respect with God. He treats us all equally.

Ephesians 5:1-7
1 Be you therefore followers of God as dear children,
2 And walk in love, as Christ also loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not once be named among you, as becometh saint;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

The scripture is clear, no sinner has any inheritance in the kingdom of God nor of Christ. It also emphatically states that you should not allow yourself to be deceived by vain talkers, such as those that promote the OSAS doctrine. If you partake in the sins of the world you will also partake in the wrath of God with them.

Revelation 21:7-8
7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

This passage states that the overcomers shall inherit all things but that all sinners will burn in the lake of fire. So if you claim yourself to be a ''sinner'' saved by grace then you will burn with the sinners. If you think you can continue in sin without consequence you are mistaken.

All sinners will be judged. Whether they say they are saved, believe themselves to be saved. Whether they believe in Jesus or have been baptized or not. No sin nor those who commit sin will enter into Heaven.

OSAS is not a false doctrine but very much a bibical doctrine . It took the Mercy of God to be applied for me to ever get saved, Mercy and Grace is what our salvation is made up of, and The Word of God says

Tit 3:5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

now to determined how long are we saved, one would have to ask how long would the mercy of God last, so let's turn to man's false doctrine who says that the Mercy of God only lasts while we are perfect , if we sin then God can not apply His mercy any more, I have one question here If the Mercy of God can no longer be applied to a christian when we sin or we walk away from God, then How is mercy ever applied to start with, for God commends His love while we are yet sinners, so man says that the mercy of God is only good when we are good BUT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS .

Ps 100:5For the LORD is good; HIS MERCY is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.Ps 103:11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is HIS MERCY toward them that fear him.Ps 106:1Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 107:1O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 118:1O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 118:2Let Israel now say, that HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 118:3Let the house of Aaron now say, that HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 118:4Let them now that fear the LORD say, that HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 118:29O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:1O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:2O give thanks unto the God of gods: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:3O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:4To him who alone doeth great wonders: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:5To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:6To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:7To him that made great lights: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:8The sun to rule by day: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:9The moon and stars to rule by night: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:10To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:11And brought out Israel from among them: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:12With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:13To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:14And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:15But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:16To him which led his people through the wilderness: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:17To him which smote great kings: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:18And slew famous kings: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:19Sihon king of the Amorites: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:20And Og the king of Bashan: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:21And gave their land for an heritage: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:22Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:23Who remembered us in our low estate: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever:Ps 136:24And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:25Who giveth food to all flesh: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.Ps 136:26O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for HIS MERCY endureth for ever.

Well I don't know about the god you serve but my God says that His mercy endures forever How many times does He have to tell us this before we get it. endures forever that is when I am good, when I am asleep, when I when I am bad, when i please him or when I let Him down By His Mercy I am saved Not by anything I did or anything I( didn't do , sorry you don't have a god who is greater than anything you can do, Maybe you should try mine for the God That I serve, HIS MERCY endureth for ever.

All sinners will be judged. Whether they say they are saved, believe themselves to be saved. Whether they believe in Jesus or have been baptized or not. No sin nor those who commit sin will enter into Heaven.
All those scriptures are true, righteous and every one of them will come to pass. There is no doubt about it. The reality of those scriptures is that we were born and conceived in sin (Ps 51:5). Those are all the things that we do as sinners. Those are the things that you expect sinners to do. Are you surprised when a sinner, even one that has been saved by grace, commits any of these things mentioned in those verses? You shouldn't be. What keeps you or any of us from sin? When we sin, why does God give us grace? Did God give you grace when you sinned? Do you remember the last time you sinned? Were you horrified and so appalled by your sin that you said, 'How could I have done this'? Maybe your sin wasn't so bad, so it was not that big of a deal. When one, who you consider to be your brother, has a relapse into sin, how do you think in relationship to that brother? How does God think in relationship to that brother, which is His child? Is restoration in the mind of God or is it condemnation? Does God want to have fellowship with that brother? If so, what can God do to restore that brother? If that brother was your son, how would you restore your son?

One huge deception going on here is that you have a lot of people who know the word of God but obviously not the heart of God. If they had, this continuous finger pointing would have ceased some time ago.

The bible tells not to anything that would make your brother stumble, yet these attacks continue. It has become painfully obvious that this "spirit of correction" that many of you so willingly embrace is in actually a spirit of persecution.

If you people love God as much as you profess you do then please take some substantial time away from your computer (I personally would suggest a fast) to pray and ask God to show you if your actions are truly His will or your own zealous agenda.

Roaring, your post is very sad. You see heresy everywhere; frauds everywhere. Thing is you are not far from the truth. Only, you don't realize your post here is a sad fraud. You are espousing your own gospel. Like the Gnostics of old you explicitly at times, implicitly other times, hold yourself out as one of the few elect who knows the truth when she/he sees it. You show such "pity" for those who do not see things your way; who won't accept your deliberate distortion of the Truth.

There are apostolic churches today, Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Armenian Orthodox, to name a few, who espouse the truthes of the gospels just as they were taught 2000 years ago. You accuse them of having another gospel. No, you are the one who has another gospel--your own gospel. Just like the Gnostics who accused the early Church of heresy because it did not embrace the Gnostic gospel.

Your tale is as old as the heresies you point to. You promote yourself as a prophet with his/her own bible.

So sad. So common. So silly.

okay okay.. false gospels - there has been a LOT posted about that.. now which is the right one? we have the same bibles.. why do we have different views? because we understand it in our own way. now the battle is not with scriptures its within ourselves if what we believe is right,.. we haven't even gotten that part yet - now why are we here? questioning someone else's belief? - i mean hey! following God's Word is the right thing to do - yes - why don't we apply it ourselves? no one's worthy remember - we all are unworthy saved by the Blood of our Savior.. now where's that humility?

One huge deception going on here is that you have a lot of people who know the word of God but obviously not the heart of God. If they had, this continuous finger pointing would have ceased some time ago.

The bible tells not to anything that would make your brother stumble, yet these attacks continue. It has become painfully obvious that this "spirit of correction" that many of you so willingly embrace is in actually a spirit of persecution.

If you people love God as much as you profess you do then please take some substantial time away from your computer (I personally would suggest a fast) to pray and ask God to show you if your actions are truly His will or your own zealous agenda.
and i totally agree with u :) - i personally don't think those who exposed heresies - even fasted before posting. :) seriously..so yeah, before someone starts a thread - i would suggest the same thing :p lol including me

OSAS is not a false doctrine but very much a bibical doctrine . It took the Mercy of God to be applied for me to ever get saved, Mercy and Grace is what our salvation is made up of, and The Word of God says

Tit 3:5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

now to determined how long are we saved, one would have to ask how long would the mercy of God last, so let's turn to man's false doctrine who says that the Mercy of God only lasts while we are perfect , if we sin then God can not apply His mercy any more, I have one question here If the Mercy of God can no longer be applied to a christian when we sin or we walk away from God, then How is mercy ever applied to start with, for God commends His love while we are yet sinners, so man says that the mercy of God is only good when we are good BUT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS .

Nice paste and post job, but that does not change the fact that OSAS is a deception, and not biblical at all. God is merciful that is why He sent Jesus to make a way for us, however He is also just and sin will be judged.

I agree, there are many here that persecute the truth tellers. Why? Because darkness hates the light. God's heart is broken by the state of the American Church. Teachers teaching such abhorred doctrine as OSAS, and in doing so causing other to sin, unaware of the consequences. It breaks His heart that He is going to have to pass judgment on them, but He must, because they refuse to hear when He sends people to teach them truth.

James 4
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

I know this is a silly question but what does osas stand for? Also do any of you think that God our Father is so weak that he would allow any of his children to be lost to any false teaching? Is there not scripture that proclaims that nothing can get in his way or prevent or take us from his hands? It is a good thing to be aware but I dont believe that after sacrificing his life, conquering death, and proclaiming salvation for us that our Lord Jesus, the good shepard, will allow any of his sheep to be lost. God bless, pickles

"Saved by grace through faith..."

I don't understand why so many choose to take something so simple and complicate it by trying to define it doctrinally. Haven't we learned our lesson that the more that man places his hands on something, the more he messes things up? Has the phrase "let go and let God" escaped you?

Scripture clearly says that we are saved by grace through faith (not grace alone as so many would lead you to believe). Scripture also states that faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. In other words, both grace and faith are indeed gifts from God.

Now that we got that out of the way...

"We are saved by grace through faith.."

This means that God's grace is infinite and it is always there when we need it however, grace also needs faith in order to function properly. In other words before grace can be properly applied, one must have faith or, one must not only believe in such grace but one must also respond (position themselves) properly in order for grace to work. In other words faith not only requires that one believe but also one must walk in that belief.

To sum things up, "we are saved by grace through faith" can be simply explained in one word found throughout scripture and that word is REPENTANCE. What is "repentance"? Repentance means "to change one's mind" or "to turn away from". What are we to walk away from? SIN (both in a singular and plural sense). How do we walk away from sin? By accepting God's mercy and grace and allowing His infinite love to wash over every aspect of our being thus delivering from desires of the flesh by replacing them with an even stronger desire, the eternal love of the Father.

I am so thankful for God's mercy and grace. If not for such not one of us would be here. The Father, through His infinite love, has brought me through so much that I want nothing more than to be sensitive to the things that are on His heart. It is my earnest prayer that each and everyone of you come to a full appreciation of the mercy and grace that the Father has so freely bestowed upon you that you would extend the same mercy and grace toward one another.

Again, I ask you to put your actions on hold in order to take time to sit before the Lord in fasting in prayer to see if this "crusade" that you have so proudly and staunchly taken upon yourself is truly in the same vein as Paul "the Apostle of Grace", or is it indeed the work of Saul "the Persecutor of the Brethren". If you owe it to anyone, you owe to Jesus Christ "the Savior of us all".

If you refuse, then may God have mercy upon you your soul...

A final point I feel I should add is this. Although it does require some participation on our part (it takes two to have a relationship after all), the entire process begins with God and ends with God "so that no man can boast".

You mean like baring fruit, and staying on the straight path. I agree why can you not see this very simple biblical teaching.
