Will the earth come to an end? I think not, but it will be totally screwed up for a time as we know it.

The Words of the Master in Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

I have learned one thing on this forum. Although I have some deep and strong beliefs.... I know that is what they are, simply my "beliefs." It shocked me how many people say they absolutely KNOW they are in possession of the ONLY possible right way to read Scripture. Those people can easily be spotted because they usually express things this way: "That means this".... rather than "I believe, it means this" or "I read it this way," or even, "I can't find your point of view in Scripture." And, these same people will often say that any uncertainty about a position by someone else is proof positive that those people have not REALLY heard from the Holy Spirit like THEY have.

I have no problem with someone being sure of what they believe.... we ALL should feel that way. But, to be positive that what we believe makes everything anyone else believes a total falsehood is going too far, in my book. I think it needs to sound more like, "I believe what I believe, and it works for me, and I will live accordingly." "If you do the same with your beliefs, that's cool."

As long as the other side's point of view is not running contrary to the truth in other parts of the scripture, one can agree to disagree, but both should go before that throne of grace for help in finding the truth in His words, because scripture is not of private interpretation at all.

2 Peter 1:
[SUP]19 [/SUP]We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:[SUP] 20 [/SUP]Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.[SUP] 21 [/SUP]For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

There can be no lie of the truth.

1 John 2:
[SUP]20 [/SUP]But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.[SUP] 21 [/SUP]I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

1 Thessalonians 5:
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.[SUP] 22 [/SUP]Abstain from all appearance of evil.[SUP] 23 [/SUP]And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.[SUP] 24 [/SUP]Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

That is how one knows when they are reading scripture correctly when it abstains from all appearances of evil.

But, too often we hear "I am right, but obviously you are going to Hell."
They get banned for that, but obviously, they do not know their scripture well. Otherwise, they would not have said that since Jesus cannot lose none of all the Father has given Him ( John 6:39 ).

Scripture warns believers that not every one will be ready when the Bridegroom comes at the pre trib rapture event. They often take Matthew 7:21-23 as citing those professing believers as not saved because Jesus never knew them for why they got left behind, but not so. He denied knowing them because they were denying Him by being workers of iniquity.

That is why those who profess that they know God and yet in works deny Him is why they will be denied Titus 1:15-16. Proof that He still abides in them even in those left behind is here below.

2 Timothy 2:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.[SUP] 11 [/SUP]It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:[SUP] 12 [/SUP]If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:[SUP] 13[/SUP]If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

So those left behind that die in the name of the Lord, will be present with the Lord in Heaven until their resurrection which takes place after Jesus defeats the world's armies and has Satan in the pit for a thousand years. That resurrection will take place after the great tribulation before the rest of the dead are resurrected at the great white throne judgment, but the firstfruits are taken at the pre trib rapture event.

So the Lord is not forsaking those left behind because He still abides in them, but this is where the vessels unto dishonor comes from that are in His House; saved believers that did not look to the author & finisher of our faith to help them lay aside every weight & sin in running that race to avoid being a castaway.

Believers that think those being denied by Him as not saved in Matthew 7:21-23, I should point out that Jesus was referring to how bad it will be before He comes with false prophets coming in when many will just follow the crowd and go astray. Matthew 7:13-17
Since He will lose none and yet the prophesied falling away from the faith will come and is here already, then we can see why God is judging His House first at the pre trib rapture event before He deals with that son of perdition.

His warnings to prepare themselves to be ready or else is not for those with the mark of the beast at the end of the great tribulation. The call to depart from iniquity is given to every one of us having His seal, including former believers, so we can be received as a vessel unto honor in His House ; 2 Timothy 2:19-21 as there can be no vessels unto dishonor at the Marriage Supper table.
