I have been much happier, and much less distracted since I have put Zone on ignore.,
no doubt: who wants to be reminded that they have uttered a false prophecy and attached Christ's Name to it?

i don't have you on ignore though VW.

Hi there
It is good to see some humour. I was beginning to think it might not exist here.

any case... have you found a scripture yet Zone.... the one you posted about 1Corinthians 13:8-12 kind of backfired on verse 10.
Not quite sure which Bible version you used, tried to compensate but the message remains the same. I've got here the ASV.

1Co 13:8 Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away.
1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
1Co 13:10 but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things.
1Co 13:12 For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known.

So unless you are ALREADY in heaven...
Please show me where it says the gifts of the Holy Spirit which is still with us today has ceased.

proselytism
1. the act of becoming or the condition of being a convert to an opinion, political party, or religious group.
2. an active policy of inviting or persuading converts, especially to a religious position. — proselyte, n. — proselyter, proselytist, n. — proselytize, v. — proselytistic, adj.

Sorry just had to understand what you mean for a bit. Maybe others too, so I put the definition down.
Ok, yes. I must say that Jesus didn't convert. And technically one could say it would be an impossibility. Even so, the devil did try in Matthew 4. Unsuccesfully.

As to you statement: "Christians would probably not be Christian without The Bible". (and with this I am not saying I do not believe or love my Bible), but hypothetically if you were in missions like Paul, and Peter, etc (which didn't have BIBLES) and you convince someone about Jesus to take Him as his personal Lord and Saviour and got Baptised with Water and the Holy Spirit. And that man went around spreading the gospel that Jesus is Lord and God is the only God, bringing a clear gospel (without a Bible, logically he wouldn't have all the information only that which is necessary for salvation) to others and they convert and maybe even by the Power of the Holy Spirit heal others and performing miracles. By definition could we not call them also Christians or chilrdren of God? (Logically they would be thrilled if ever someone send them some Bibles :) )
