I have heard ministers say, in response to the question "Out of all the religions in the world, hw do we know we are the ones who are right?" that if it just so happened that we were wrong, I would be happyknowing I believed something.
This, of course, sounds like the perfect answer to any question about philosophy. New agers say the same thing. So do atheists, and people of other religions. But I personally have never been satisfied with this answe, for some reason. It just doesn't sit right with me that I have to live a "fake it until you make it" life. That isn't living or thriving; it is surviving. So is that all we are breathing for is to survive?
What is your view of it?
