If you have lived in the days of Jesus, and you are a true synagogue goer, very dedicated to your synagogue; what would you have done, would you throw stones at him or would you follow him.Would you listen to what he has to say or dismiss him and call him names. It is easy for us to say now: we follow christ: now that we have learned that he is resurected from the dead. Not an easy question, i suppose it is the persons heart,it depends on the inside.'God saw our hearts the day we are born. just as he did with esau.

[/QUOTE]I'm sure everyone here would like to think that they would of followed Jesus, but I dont think that to be the case. Look at how much some defend their church and not the truth. The very sad thing is that they think they have the truth. They really believe that. And they call you and I evil! So yes, many here would of persecuted Jesus, but they will say that about us! Let God judge between us and them.

Just remember this, whenever you feel you have the boldness to speak out against the church and body of Christ as you and others do, Jesus Christ is the head of the church and laid His life down for it. To judge and speak against His body is to do the same to Him and if you are a member of His body through the blood of Christ you also speak against yourself, for we are members one of another. This is why, when we condemn or judge another we condemn and judge ourselves.

Rom 14:7-13 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live , we live unto the Lord; and whether we die , we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die , we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died , and rose , and revived , that he might be Lord both of the dead and living . 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written , As I live , saith the Lord , every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Christ is holy ,his body must be holy also or it is not his body.
So the church must proof it self to be holy, then it can claim that it is the body. The jws claim that, the mormons claim that, every church that is set up claims to be the body of christ. Christ knows who is connected to him(the word) not some other word.

This is a perfect example of what I am talking about! Mention the church and wolla!

The true church is made up of people Red. People that follow Christ in spirit and in truth. Whether they go to church or not. True followers who love the Lord, and care for the truth, and will take correction if scripture is pointed out to them. People who use the Word of God for reproof, edification, & the final authority on all matters. This has been pointed out to you over and over, and you still cant see the plain words written that even a non believer can understand... God's spirit does not dwell in temples made out of hands

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

What dont you get???? this is a big statement. Jesus did not lay down his life for a church that teaches false doctrine. I dont know about the other churches but I do know that your church does not teach the full truth because I have witnessed your words, and your teachings and have found there to be error. Not only one but lots of them. And we tested that spirit in you, in your church and found that it was not the holy spirit that taught you those things. So dont say that I condemn your church, the body of Christ, because you condemn us for pointing out your errors. I have read your posts Red, and have witnessed your arrogance & pride. I have seen you belittle people. What does that teach your church members? To do the same? Is that leading them to Salvation? The blood of Christ that you speak about, did it humble you? Did it affect you? Did you not know that our salvation can be cut off? That mercy can be taken away and old sins reinstated? No you will say, never. Thats why your church is dangerous. Thats why they should go straight to the Word because Jesus teaches them truth and how to behave. I am very angry at you right now and sorry for sounding harsh but it needs to be said.

Why magnify false doctrine or half truths, why not magnify Christ and the truth and keep magnifying the truth of God's word to edify and build up the church and body of Christ? Christ came not to condemn or judge and neither do we who have been redeemed by Him through grace and truth. Let the light of God's word deal with the hearts of men and any error they may live in. We know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error according to (1Jn 4:1-6, 1Tim 3:16), those that deny that God has come in the flesh through the person of His Son Jesus Christ are not of God and that is the spirit of antichrist. If you or any other deny that Jesus Christ came as God in the flesh, then you have denied according to a spirit of antichrist. Those who are of God hear those that have the testimony that Jesus Christ, God's Son, was not created or made but came from heaven as God manifest in the flesh. He had no beginning and has no ending because He is eternal life and is life eternal (Jn 5:26, 1Jn 5:11,12).

BTW - Since when can any sin that has been put away by the blood of Christ be reinstated? ALL sin was imputed to the body of Christ on the cross and was judged through death and buried in the depths of the sea of God's forgetfulness (Micah 7:19). You do not understand the cross nor do you understand what God did with sin through His Son's death. burial and resurrection. Read (2Cor 5:18-20) over and over until you get it in the Spirit.

You and some others have this 'freaky' notion that we do not know what the church really is. You think we believe it is some building. How stupid and very foolish you are to impute that to those that have no such conclusion about Christ's purchased possession. At the same time don't forget that Christ spent alot of time in the temple and in certain synagogues teaching the scriptures to those that would listen and He also was very zealous of the temple in Jerusalem and was angry at those that would make merchandise of it instead of making it a house of prayer. But go on in your unbelief and ridiculous doctrines and have it according to your own understanding. After all, that's how you like it.

People who waited forgiveness and healing believed what Jesus Christ was sent from God.
While Jesus was having dinner at
Levi's house, many tax collectors and
"sinners" were eating with him and his
disciples, for there were many who
followed him(Mark 2:15)
Still, many in the crowd put their faith
in him. They said, "When the Christ
comes, will he do more miraculous signs
than this man?(John 7-31)
The authorities in Israel did not accept their Lord
for they loved praise from men more
than praise from God(Mark 12:43)
None of the rulers of this age
understood it, for if they had, they would
not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1st Corinthians 2:8)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know what I would have done If I have lived in the days of Jesus. It all depends.
Thank God what some way The Lord was found by me. I strongly believe what without His Will this would be impossible
.:)

I think the same question could be asked today, what if someone said they were healed? Do you believe in miracles? What would you say if something miraculous happened. Would you disagree with visions or miracles that were happening at church or would you agree. The same question presents it self when the Gospel is preached. People have a choice to believe the Bible or not.

You forget that he also performed many signs and miracles unlike anything we have seen in our time. Therefore, I think it would have been easier to be a believer when he was a live then now.

Actually, I just read something in the Bible about that. I think it's in John after Thomas asks to feel his scars.

The thing is would we be the same to follow Jesus no matter what time in history we lived, because that is how we are,or would we be influenced by the thought of the day and influences of the time to not follow Jesus.

I say this because certain circumstances will drive a person to follow God,and some things absent can drive a person to God,and if we lived in another time in history it might not be like that not driving us to God,or are we the same to come to God no matter the time in history and the influences.

What if some of us grew up rich having rich parents and were rich where we could enjoy the best of life, would we still come to God,and the poor accept the Gospel quicker than the rich.

I admit it. One interesting fact, apostle Paul had written in 1st Timothy 5:23:
Stop drinking only water, and use a
little wine because of your stomach and
your frequent illnesses.
Consequently in the days of apostles too not everyone receiving healing.

What would I have done if I ws a trraditional Jew...? Well it depends whether the FATHER draws me to Christor not. Jesus prayed for all the people the Father gave Him in John 17, NOT FOR THE WORLD! And some of the same people that shouted ...crusify crucify Him, did also repent in Acts 11. Not all some! Only people that are DRAWN to Jesus can start their sanctification, aas He leads them to glorification! So if you do believe the Truth today, and are made FREE from ALL evil today, you propably would also have CHOSEN to be disciple then! Disciples and Christians both means to FOLLOW Jesus in His teachings. That will mean you have to COME to TRUTH to know that you are WRONG as you were! And then let TRUTH set you free from all evil, even from false teachings and preachres as there ARE MANY TODAY.
It is just a fact, all who are meant for heaven will end up HOLY before they enter, and the others will not enter! The whole Bible teaches that! And not many teachers (false teachers) do!
