To all atheists, you're just not getting it, if we as christians didn't serve Yeshua(Jesus) and want to help anyone lost come to God, than we wouldn't care about what happens to you after death. You're lack of belief in God does not make Him exist any less. There's more proof and evidence of God's existence than your own. The fact that almost everything that was written 2000/3000 yrs. ago in detail about the end days is being fulfilled right before our eyes. The fact that the old testament prophecied about Yeshua in detail from how He would be born to His death and ressurection, happened exactly like it said it would. The fact that a little country(Israel) that in worlds eyes is unimportant has been the center of attention for the last 4500 yrs. every prophecy about it so far has come to past. I can go on and on and on, historical evidence, geological evidence, archeological evidence as well as biblical evidence. The fact that NASA and scientist use the Bible more than any other book in the world to find things all through out the middle east, because it's more accurate than anything else. You can say whatever you want to justify your life, the fact of it is, is if you refuse God and refuse His Son as Messiah, it doesn't matter if you're the nicest person on the planet, you're going to hell, period. YOU WILL stand before God and kneel and proclaim that Jesus is Lord whether you want to or not. Your beliefs are irrelevent to the facts. The difference between us and the false religions out there, is we want you to be saved so that you can live in eternity with us with God and all the glory and greatness and reward that He wants to give us just because He loves us. JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU, and so He sent His Son to die for your sins, because He loves you. But He does not compromise, it is HIS way NOT your way. You don't get to set the rules, He sets the rules, you will obey or you will pay the price. So I plead with you, God only has to pull on your heart one time, that's all He's required to do according to His word. If He pulls on it more than once than that is extra mercy He's having on you. PLEASE DON'T REJECT HIM, or He may release you to a heardened heart. Shalom

Have you heard of that song by Abandon that says....Oh, you can turn it up loud as loud as it will go.
But it will never make its way to your soul. No no, until you feel it in your heart.

They must feel it in their heart to hear God. We should be there to show them and help, but if they really reject for good and don't pursue then it's on them.

God bless

This society how we know it has it roots in Christianity, that is another living proof that you insist in ignoring . I already posted it in another thread about atheists so I don't want to sound repetitive . haha

I guess the Bible gives instructions on how to build a rocket!!! I mean I know Jesus was a cool dude but I didn't know he was a literal rocket scientist too...

Greetings Avino,

I understand your concern for the lost and also realize that your posting was written as an invitation to salvation, but it is important to exclaim the Gospel properly. We as Christians should inform the unbelieving that whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; and whoever does not believe in the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him [John 3:36]. Jesus paid the penalty and atoned for the sin of those that believe upon Him, but by doing so it does not evidence His love for sin or the unrepentant sinner, which is why we should not be saying phrases like "Jesus loves you." God does have a general love for creation, yes, with evidence being his long-suffering the vessels fitted for destruction [Romans 9:21-24] and His commandment for us to Love our enemies, and bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them which spitefully use us, and persecute us. But, God's general love for all creation does not superceed His ultimate will for humanity which is salvation for believers and damnation for unbelievers.

What needs to happen is prayer. We must pray for God to soften the hearts of the unrepentant in order for them to realize the consequences of their rebellion against God's righteousness. They must first understand and acknowledge their sin in order for them to see the need for a savior. We do not have to plead with the unregenerate, it is the Word that convicts, and the Holy Spirit who illuminates. Often man tries to do too much, and in their attempts sacrifice the truth of the Gospel to make it more palatable to their respective audience. We cannot force anyone to be saved, that is the work of the LORD. Our job is to present the Gospel in it's entirety and commit ourselves to prayer as faithful disciples of Christ :)

Did you ever wonder why, christians seek and witness so much to Jesus?
When the only thing that is given back is insults, laughter, rejection, persicution even death.
Its not a grand delusion, thats for sure.
The world is easyer to obey.
Instead, one chooses to seek, follow and love Jesus.
It is seeing and knowing the truth as to this world, and the love and life given in Jesus.
Only that which is perfect, is worth pleading for.
I hope to those that do not yet believe, that one day, you will in Jesus.
Yes, it is worth it!!!

In Jesus, God bless.

Dunno about NASA, but the bible describes scientific facts that were "discovered" waaay later... like the water cycle (rain, evaporation, rain...)

Jeremiah 10:13
When He utters His voice,
There is a multitude of waters in the heavens:
“And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth.
He makes lightning for the rain,
He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

ob 36:27-29
For He draws up drops of water,
Which distill as rain from the mist,
Which the clouds drop down
And pour abundantly on man.
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds,
The thunder from His canopy?

  1. Ecclesiastes 1:7
All the rivers run into the sea,
    Yet the sea is not full;
To the place from which the rivers come,
    There they return again.

One big difference between a christian and a atheist is that a christian has hope but atheist do not
1 Corinthians 15:17-19
(17) And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
(18) Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
(19) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Islam teaches salvation by works but when is a person's works good enough?
Through faith in Christ we have hope for the future but tell me does an atheist have hope for the future beyond the grave?

I have hope for others future after i'm dead, and that my influence on the world (younger generations, students, children) will remain long.
...but regardless, couldn't you have put 'beyond the grave' in first, instead of generic 'we don't have hope' :p

wwjd, or perhaps there are some unsung heroes from 2000+ years ago who can do half reasonable investigation and speculation :)

Apparently a few of you are stuck on the NASA comment, anytime there scientists along with any other scientists around the world, who are doing research on anything throughout the middle east to do with history, the Bible is and has been used as the best and most accurate resource. Avinu
