Psalm 117:1-4 OSB (Psalm 118:1-4 KJV) (cf. OSB, page 760):
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His mercy endures forever. Let the house of Israel say that He is good, For His mercy endures forever. Let the house of Aaron say that He is good, For His mercy endures forever. Let all who fear the Lord say that He is good, For His mercy endures forever."
117 Ps 117 sets forth the theme, Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever (vv. 1-4,29). Verses 5-28 are rich in teaching and give many reasons we are to give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation He provided through His sufferings, death, and Resurrection" (v. 28). ..."
