Acts 5:28
saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.”

Acts 7:52
Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him--

Revelation 16:6
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!”

Revelation 17:6
And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I marveled greatly.

Revelation 18:24
In her was found the blood of prophets and of the saints, and of all who have been killed on the earth."

The sages of the Talmud see a direct link between themselves and the Pharisees, and historians generally consider Pharisaic Judaism to be the progenitor of Rabbinic Judaism, that is normative, mainstream Judaism after the destruction of the Second Temple. All mainstream forms of Judaism today consider themselves heirs of Rabbinic Judaism and, ultimately, the Pharisees.

ahhh i can see the correlation here, but i remain unconvinced, to me there will be a great tribulation where the antichrist will murder many many many saints and prophets and believers in Yeshua. It is these saints, prophets, believers that I believe are referred too in Revelation 17

oh how silly necto:) i neither received the prophecy, nor wrote it down.

i surely didn't insert a 2000 year gap in there:D

i can read it though. do we need the gift of prophecy to be able to read with understanding?
or do we need the Holy Spirit?

Daniel 9
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
In my opinion you are in no one and nothing need. It would be Scripture, but there is plenty of interpretation!

p.s. amillennialism is actually spiritual postmillennialism. Augustine thought it up, and believed Christ would come after the millennium (thats why there was so much ruckus in 1000 ad! but when Yeshua didnt come 1000 became symbolic so they could keep their beliefs). But postmil split into two groups, physical postmil which believed christians are too take over the governments and reign physically over the world before Yeshua came back, and then there was spiritual postmil that believed christians were/are reigning spiritually with Yeshua until He comes back. All is postmil though and unfortunately all is augustinian, not jewish or of the early church.

did you change your mind about Amil right about the time you started looking at your Hebrew Roots?

please tell me why a literal 1,000 years is required for any reason, or a thousand years is ever mentioned anywhere but Rev 20?:D

Revelation 20:3

Revelation 17:8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

only TWO AGES...this age (NOW - a thousand years/messianic), and the age to come (eternity): [notice Jesus said satan is "bound"]

Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit
22 Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw. 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, “Can this be the Son of David?” 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.” 25 Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. 26 And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can someone enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house. 30 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. 31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Mark 10
28 Peter began to say to him, “See, we have left everything and followed you.” 29 Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, 30 who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

but i already showed you what 'jewish' is....if you are listening to judaism, you are listening to shadows of the pharisee's olam haba, which judaism is still waiting for (see Mttw/Mk above).

if you are a christian you see there is no utopia on this earth, neither is there a need for one.

no golden 'earth age' at all.

Well I cant see why the 1000 years talked about cant be literal lol And even if its only mentioned in rev 20 its still mentioned, and I believe the whole bible. I think the main reason why the 1000 years hasnt been believed to be literal by bible-believers like yourself is because of the huge correlation it has with dispensationalism, but the thing it it was NEVER intended to be dispensational.

As for the hebrew roots thing, it was after the change that I started looking into messianic judaism, but both were preceded by a new love for the old testament so to some degree I started seeing myself as a part of Israel before, but mostly after the change in eschatological beliefs.

im not listening to judaism im listening to MESSIANIC judaism there is a HUGE difference. Yeshua Himself was a jew and was against the legalistic pharisees and its His example im after. Im not a greek, im a spiritual Jew and I want to keep my jewish roots, history and to some degree culture without all the pharasaical influences just like Yeshua.

And yup I used to believe that, but I dont now, i see it as such a distortion of scripture and trying to make greek augustinian beliefs fit into what the bible actually says.

ok Lad.
the 1,000 is not literal >> it is stated this way because: it not for us to know the times The Father has kept in His own Counsel.

its now.

The Pharisees knew then and know now that the period called a thousand years means the messianic or salvation portion of the plan of God (according to Moses and the prophets).

they rejected Jesus (Messiah) and the Messianic ERA/AGE when He came, and are about to usher in their own messiah, with the expectation of a millennium - you know this Lad). that's where the futurist/dispensational theology comes from.

take a look around at the events in the world. any honest person knows the whole world is moving towards the establishment of a global power structure stationed out of jerusalem.

Jerusalem is in the grip of Babylonian Talmudism, Lad. you know this too.

fortunately for us it will only be a short space.

please be real careful with messianic judaism, dear...:) we are not going backwards in time, we are going forwards. we are not grafted into israel, we are israel.

don't forget now, Laddie....we'll have a choice to make soon.

Just found another scripture...

"I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. "And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations, and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14)

ALSO

1Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst. 2For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. 5And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. 6 On that day there shall be no light, cold, or frost. 7 And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light. 8 On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea. It shall continue in summer as in winter. 9And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day the LORD will be one and his name one. 10 The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem shall remain aloft on its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses. 11And it shall be inhabited, for there shall never again be a decree of utter destruction. Jerusalem shall dwell in security. 12And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13And on that day a great panic from the LORD shall fall on them, so that each will seize the hand of another, and the hand of the one will be raised against the hand of the other. 14Even Judah will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance. 15And a plague like this plague shall fall on the horses, the mules, the camels, the donkeys, and whatever beasts may be in those camps. 16Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths. 17And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them. 18And if the family of Egypt does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which the LORD afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths. 19This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths. 20And on that day there shall be inscribed on the bells of the horses, "Holy to the LORD." And the pots in the house of the LORD shall be as the bowls before the altar. 21And every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holy to the LORD of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them and boil the meat of the sacrifice in them. And there shall no longer be a trader in the house of the LORD of hosts on that day. (Zechariah 14, clearly describes the return and reign of the Lord)

What happens when Yeshua comes back? Judgment? nope, the new earth? nope. Rather it is a REIGN, a kingdom, a dominion, that ALL peoples, nations, and men of every language will serve Him. And if those who are left that didnt join in armageddons army DONT come to worship Yeshua He will give them no rain. I believe in the new earth well all speak one language so that its easier, but here its EVERY language and the men thereof worshipping Yeshua. The early church believed in a 1000 year reign of Yeshua over the World and so do I.

At the moment people deny the existence of God, but there will come a day when the existence of Him CANNOT be denied but people will deny a need and a desire to accept His salvation when satan deceives them.

welcome to the world of ILLUSIONS (and delusions)

Revelation 11:8
Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
You're shifting gears on us here Zone. I believe you are citing out of context, tying
Jerusalem to a reference to the city on seven hills that is made elsewhere, in a different
context. You are specifically citing:

The two witnesses prophesy (Rev 11:1-6)
The two witnesses killed (Rev 11:7-13)

Let's again, step back and get the big view:

Just found another scripture...

"I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. "And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations, and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14).
a vision Lad. just like john's. in heaven.
a vision. forward in time. just like john's.

Jesus was King the First Time. if we don't understand Daniel 9, we're lost.

He is ruling NOW.

His kingdom is everlasting - for all who enter it by faith.

(Zechariah 14, clearly describes the return and reign of the Lord).
hebraic pictoral language explaining in the very same way the eternal kingdom the apostles and disciples and first christians understood it....the Kingdom and Redemption beginning with the First Advent.

you're very well aware the greek language is a totally different ballgame, and God did this for a reason. in messianic judaism you know there is a growing conflict with the teachings of Saul of Tarsus: this is exactly why The Lord chose him, Lad. no going backwards, no backing away from the kingdom being all kindreds tongues and nations, and that being the MYSTERY planned, but hidden from the foundation of the world.

we MUST make the shift with Him from Hebrew to Greek....you just can not abandon the NT for the OT Lad. we are not returning to types and shadows. we go forward with both.

ezekiel's temple vision is new jerusalem: the same city john saw. yet the language and imagery of the two languages and two covenants and two ages comes together in JOHN.

The early church believed in a 1000 year reign of Yeshua over the World and so do I.

the apostles didn't Lad.
and Jesus never taught it. He told us the OPPOSITE.
i showed you in Matthew and Mark.

the Second Advent is resurrection and judgment.

At the moment people deny the existence of God, but there will come a day when the existence of Him CANNOT be denied but people will deny a need and a desire to accept His salvation when satan deceives them.
ok. but the eschaton has only the birth pangs, short space, tribulation, Second Advent/wrath/Judgment...eternity.

Daniel 9 is the KEY.
