Starting in verse 6

6)Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

7)And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
8)Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons and mourning as the owls.

Is this God Speaking? It really wow'ed me...To me there is nothing here to make it seem like suddenly Micah started speaking...but thats what any comentary i have read makes it seem...but thats not how it reads...this IS THE WORD speaking....Wow...Anyone see this before?

It seems verse 6 and 7 are in quotations; meaning these are the Lord's own words, before and after that would be the words of Micah.... it would seem unfitting for verse 8 to be referring to the Lord.
Nevertheless, it is clear how much the Lord hates idolatry.

11Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing. (Same speaker)

12For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem. (Same speaker)

13O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee. (Same speaker)

14Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel. (Same speaker)

15Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel. ("I wil bring an heir" Micah will? no, The LORD will)
16Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee. (So THIS has to be the LORD talking as well)

In understanding prophecy, it is the words that the prophet heard and was commanded to write down.

Verse 2 in chapter 1 shows this: (in the prophets voice, the Lord is telling him to say these words,)

Hear O peoples, all of you;
Listen, O earth and all it contains,
And let the Lord God be a witness against you,
The Lord from His holy temple.

That the prophet inserted these words in verses 8 & 9 showing how he must react to these things is just as much a part of the prophecy as the words before and following. This is the Spirit's work inspiring these feeling and this reaction in the prophet.

In truth, God is heartbroken over the ruin of His people. And the Spirit is grieved more and more each day. And if one is sensitive to the Spirit, to His heart, they would know the grief that He feels.

They receive another spirit, A spirit that makes people speak in weird tounges...and have feathers pop out of there eyes, and stange fire falling from heaven....But NO victory over Sin. NO true fruits of the Spirit.

And They Preach a TOTALY different Gospel. That mixes WORLD and GOD. GOD said Be seperate. Totaly. There is no mincing words when it comes to The WORD of GOD.

THIS is what is grieving the LORD. THIS is what brought about Gods wrath. Oh peopel can say what is happening and what WILL happen ISNT Gods wrath. But GOD controls ALL. GOD is sovereign. GOD uses man to chastise his people. The Axe can't weild its self.

GOD is so grieved by ALL our actions especially claiming His Christ, HIS spirit yet totally living our own way. NOT being righteous, NOT being Holy. Having a form of Godlines...but denying its power(to make us free from sin)

God IS grieved. And if you ask him to see through HIS eyes. TO Feel exactly how he feels...you will KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt how greived he is...

So back to Micah 1:8. I TRULY beleive this IS the LORD speaking. And if it is the Lord speaking...He hates wickednes...yes...But it makes him SAD as well. we GREIVE him deeply when we ignore his Word.

We all need to stop putting emphasis on ANYTHING other than OBEYING JESUS. Thats it. And we need to Preach that as well. Obedience. ONLY. THAT is Loving God. THAT is loving Jesus.

And those who Don't LOVE Jesus...(1 Corinthians 16:22)

When I was first lead to read the prophets, the first thing I read in the leading of the Holy Spirit was Lamentations. I was already a broken man, but this just added to my brokenness.
