What is the use of plain knowledge without any wisdom in a man? Shouldn't we first understand the knowledge and then have wisdom to separate it from right from wrong? Say for example that you are a kid and your mother told you that men kidnaps kids in the area that you live in, in the same neighbor hood. You have knowledge about the situation. But wisdom will tell you not to hang around strange men in the neighbor hood and to stay away. If they talk to you, you walk away.*
Wisdom is the understanding of right from wrong after knowing the situation. Common sense can be wisdom. The Conscience is a wisdom deliverer.
So we shouldn't talk about worthless talks and discussions about stuff like whether Virgin Mary has blue eyes or brown. But teaching understanding,*wisdom,*knowledge, and love...and so on. To Increase the kingdom and more. To bring heaven down here to earth.
Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 1:3-6 (NASB),*As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines,*
nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith.*
But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.*
For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion,*
We should help the need, give instruction to the uninstructed, show men our light, not to glorify man but God. Wisdom is showing what to do with the understanding of knowledge and telling people the wisdom will be applied to their lives if they believe it.
Teach what is worth teaching and bring wisdom with you to glorify God!*
In Christ*
