How honest are you when you war against a doctrine you have
never honestly studied? And strut off saying i dont need to,
because I already know the truth.

Or has anyone experienced holding to a doctrine that was
wrong, not intentionally, just believed what you were taught.
Then later found it was wrong, way wrong.

Or how can a conscience allow the dishonesty towards
itself?

John 5:44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another
and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

If I don't know much about a particular doctrine I tend to avoid it, but if I do find myself in that argument I try to research it before I have to or just say I don't know.

First of all it is 100% honest, if you know the authentic, you do not need to study the counterfeit to know if it is counterfeit. Furthermore just because someone chooses not to read Zone's trash, doesnt mean they have never studied the false doctrine of ceasationalism.

I believed lots of false doctrine until i got saved and started reading the bible for myself. As long as you believe what the bible says over what man says you should be alright.

Exactly Zone's ceasationist doctrine is from man. why would you honor it, rather than God's word?

Abiding I'm not trying to be mean
...]How honest are you when you war against a doctrine you have

This is just what you are doing. You have learned things wrong and you are sticking to your guns. You don't even know about waring Satan's kingdom and still act as if you know all. You are very far behind in your teachings. There is nothing but you stopping you from learning the truth.

For me I pay attention. If there is any chance I have learned anything wrong I ask God to help me all the time. To show me if the devils teachings got in there from man. I want to know. One can only be helped if the Holy Spirit is guiding them. As long as we are in these flesh bodies we can be deceived. They can only be helped by hearing the voice of God. All kinds of so called Christians don't think God talks. They are so wrong but they don't know it. They are blinded by Satan. God talks to his people.

Or they say silly things like if God said anything we have to find it in the bible. Yha right. As I drove down the highway coming onto a 4 way intersection and the Holy Spirit told me a car was going to pull out in front of me. In others wards, warning me so we wouldn't be killed.

As I looked there were cars that could have come from all sides and in front a left turn. I knew one was going to pull at me but not which one. So I slowed as much as I could with out making a wreck behind me. And watched. As I was going through the section this kid pulled right to the side of my car. I was able swerve because I was warned by God to move so he didn't hit us.

There's no verse in the bible that says one day thus says the Lord God Linda's driving and was warned of this kid almost wrecking into her.

I ask people who say anything God tells a person is in the verses, show me a car, bus, train, plain what ever in the verses.

God bless you!

That is a great question.. however (and this is not an insult) I doubt he will even understand the question, much less be able to give a correct answer.

We must be born again of the spirit or we will not see the kingdom of god.Not earthly wisdom
but heavenly wisdom from above.

The Holyspirit indwells me if that is what you mean :)
right answer, but to the wrong question.

Acts 19
1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
7 And all the men were about twelve.

Paul didnt ask these men if they were indwelt by the Holy Spirit, he knew all believers are. So the question is....what was he asking them?
