1) Occultic Nature of Competitive Sports
2) Pleasure Principle
2a) Reality Principle

1) An earnest warning by Jeff Lindsay, noted mormon cult authority, profit (sic) and author
**(None better to expose the practices of a Cult, than those who are in a Cult)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any competent expert on cults will tell you that typical cults display one or more of the following warning signs:

**A Group, who, for no apparent reasoned purpose represent:

* A close-knit organization with strict rules and requirements for membership
* Dynamic leaders who exercise control and influence over members' lives
* Numerous activities which take up significant amounts of time
* Ritualistic activities, possibly including the wearing of special clothing
* Training and other activities which may be physically and emotionally draining
* Strong peer pressure in the group to achieve specific goals and obey the leader
* Requirements to make sacrifices for the good of the group
* Active recruiting efforts
* Promises of rewards, fame, and other benefits for complying with the demands of the group
** Attempts to draw FANatics who adore or worship the rite and rituals of the group, but have no real belonging

** punishment for leaving the group once involved\
** teachings that do not hold true, some form of text, doctrines, etc.

** additions mine (Digital_Angel_316)

Only the most extreme and dangerous cults display all of the above
warning signs - but one such extreme cult has infiltrated thousands
of high schools and colleges across the country. Many parents have
been deceived into thinking that their son or daughter has become
involved in a healthy school activity, when in fact they have been
recruited by one of the most sophisticated and dangerous cults
ever.

This cult takes up many hours of student time, imposes physically
grueling demands, requires total obedience to shadowy authority
figures who exert control over many aspects of the child's life,
subjects them to extreme peer pressure to perform and achieve
goals for the group, demands that the child obey strict rules of
behavior and diet, and even forces the child to wear special
ritualistic clothing - often including special underwear (at least for
boys -- "Jocks, special Bra's, under-protection/armor)!

The cult I speak of is actually a network of several related
organizations, all of which focus on the same cultic specialty:
competitive sports. Posing as intercollegiate or high school athletic
teams, these cults dominate a young person's life. Whether it's
basketball, football, baseball, soccer, wrestling, track and field,
hockey, or lacrosse, your child is being pulled into the web of a
giant cult conspiracy. The lure of these sports cults draws
thousands of young people every year, who then become trained for
intense, warlike pagan rituals with "opponent teams." All
"competitors" wear ritualistic clothing with specific colors and
symbols pertaining to their branch of the cult. Parents often feel
proud of their son or daughter in their attractive "uniform," not
recognizing the occult nature of the garb that shrouds their child.

Rigid rules of conduct govern the rituals, and those who fail to
comply may be ejected or otherwise humiliated. All must obey the
supreme cult authority figure, the "coach," whose iron will governs
the child's life both during and after competitive rituals. All must be
scarified to please the coach and to achieve goals for the good of
the cult. Shockingly, child involvement in the sports cults often
happens with the encouragement and support of gullible parents
who have no idea how sinister competitive sports really are.

Once a youth has been conditioned and trained by a sports cult, the
victim tends to have a mindless addiction to competitive sports
rituals throughout adulthood, often persisting right into senility and
beyond. Many victims become evangelists for their cult, often
wearing sweaters and jackets displaying the occult logos or
symbols of their particular "team," and sometimes paying large
amounts of money and waiting hours in line just for a chance to
observe a competitive ritual involving their branch of the cult.
Sometimes entire student bodies rally to support the cause of a cult,
though only an elite and exclusive minority are allowed to actually
join and participate. (high priests)

All this occurs in public schools, in spite of public pronouncements
about the separation of Church and State. The sports cults receive
millions of dollars of public funds and almost unlimited support from
public schools, often at the expense of real education. Lives are
ruined, souls are entangled in darkness, and thousands of
debilitating injuries are suffered as human sacrifices before the
altars of the sports cults. Yet Americans, blind and gullible, are
unable to see the evil that lurks before their eyes and that has
entangled their own children. Parents, your child may belong to a
dangerous cult - and you may be the one who encouraged him or her
to join!

As with all the dark tools of the Evil One, the sports cults trace their
roots back to the early days of human civilization. Archaeologists
recently uncovered an intact cultic shrine in Syria, dating to 1000
B.C., where ancient pagans worshipped the false god Baal. In this
shrine was a dimly lit room where cultic worshipers would sit for
hours before a large altar. On the altar, three strange objects were
displayed: a large empty vase, a clay statue of a human foot, and a
wicker basket. Participants would stare at these objects and
worship for hours, often chanting and yelling while partaking of
cultic beverages, typically alcoholic. Apparently, the objects on the
altar were viewed as manifestations of the god Baal. Thus, as early
as 1000 B.C., we find evidence of devout pagan worship of the gods
Vase-Baal, Foot-Baal, and Basket-Baal. This form of worship
continues today in the sports cults.

Parents, you can protect your child. Be informed, do all you can to
stop these cults

2) PLEASURE PRINCIPLE (PSYCHOLOGY)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleasure_principle_(psychology)

The pleasure principle is a psychoanalytic concept, originated by
Sigmund Freud. The pleasure principle states that people seek
pleasure and avoid pain, i.e., people seek to satisfy biological and
psychological needs. The counterpart is the reality principle, which
defers gratification when necessary.

An individual's id follows the pleasure principle and rules in early
life, but, as one matures, one learns the need to endure pain and
defer gratification, because of the exigencies and obstacles of
reality.

2a) REALITY PRINCIPLE (PSYCHOLOGY)
In Freud's words, "an ego thus educated has become reasonable; it
no longer lets itself be governed by the pleasure principle, but
obeys the reality principle, which also at bottom seeks to obtain
pleasure, but pleasure which is assured through taking account of
reality, even though it is pleasure postponed and diminished".

Queen Elizabeth II Christmas Message 2010

BBC News - Queen's Christmas message hails unifying role of sport

Dec 25, 2010
The Queen emphasises the role of sport in bringing
people together "from all walks of life and from all age
groups" in her Christmas message.

BBC News - In full: Queen's Christmas speech

25 December 2010
In full: Queen's Christmas speech

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II delivers her annual Christmas
message
- Here in full is the text of the Queen's Christmas message.

"Over 400 years ago King James VI of Scotland inherited the throne
of England at a time when the Christian church was deeply divided.

Here at Hampton Court in 1604, he convened a conference of
churchmen of all shades of opinion to discuss the future of
Christianity in this country.

The king agreed to commission a new translation of the bible that
was acceptable to all parties.

This was to become the King James, or Authorized, Bible, which
next year will be exactly four centuries old.

Acknowledged as a masterpiece of English prose and the most vivid
translation of the scriptures, the glorious language of this bible has
survived the turbulence of history and given many of us the most
widely recognised and beautiful descriptions of the birth of Jesus
Christ which we celebrate today.

The King James Bible was a major co-operative endeavour that
required the efforts of dozens of the day's leading scholars.

The whole enterprise was guided by an interest in reaching
agreement for the wider benefit of the Christian church, and to
bring harmony to the kingdoms of England and Scotland.

Four hundred years later, it is as important as ever to build
communities and create harmony, and one of the most powerful
ways of doing this is through sport and games.

During this past year of abundant sporting events, I have seen for
myself just how important sport is in bringing people together from
all backgrounds, from all walks of life and from all age groups.

In the parks of towns and cities, and on village greens up and down
the country, countless thousands of people every week give up their
time to participate in sport and exercise of all sorts, or simply
encourage others to do so.

These kinds of activity are common throughout the world and play a
part in providing a different perspective on life.

Apart from developing physical fitness, sport and games can also
teach vital social skills.

None can be enjoyed without abiding by the rules, and no team can
hope to succeed without co-operation between the players. This
sort of positive team spirit can benefit communities, companies and
enterprises of all kinds.

As the success of recent Paralympics bears witness, a love of sport
also has the power to help rehabilitate.

One only has to think of the injured men and women of the Armed
Forces to see how an interest in games and sport can speed
recovery and renew a sense of purpose, enjoyment and
comradeship.

Right around the world, people gather to compete under standard
rules and, in most cases, in a spirit of friendly rivalry. Competitors
know that, to succeed, they must respect their opponents; very
often, they like each other too.

Sportsmen and women often speak of the enormous pride they have
in representing their country, a sense of belonging to a wider
family.

We see this vividly at the Commonwealth Games, for example,
which is known to many as the Friendly Games and where I am sure
you have noticed that it is always the competitors from the smallest
countries who receive the loudest cheers.

People are capable of belonging to many communities, including a
religious faith. King James may not have anticipated quite how
important sport and games were to become in promoting harmony
and common interests.

But from the scriptures in the bible which bears his name, we know
that nothing is more satisfying than the feeling of belonging to a
group who are dedicated to helping each other: Therefore all things
whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to
them.

I wish you, and all those whom you love and care for, a very happy
Christmas.

The comments to the 2010 Queens speech on other postings on
Youtube are unanimous- she appears deeply uncomfortable to have
been forced to take part in a piece of devious marxist
pro-multicultural indoctrination and deception, while the real issues
of the problems faced in the Uk have been ignored...ireland2day

Sports teach people self control of their mind and body and allows them to focus on doing instead of just thinking, acting instead of just speaking. competition by itself is not evil, it is the need for glory and pride that tempts people to sin. However Paul wrote to Timothy and compared life to running a race and reminded him that people do not get the crown (of life) if they do not compete according to the rules.

you do know that one of the fruits of the Spirit is JOY, right?

That is the Jezebel spirit at work. When "Joy" is an emotion, we attach to the five senses and the Mind:
Sight, Smell, Taste, Touch, Sound, EMOTION

Think instead of "JOY" in terms of "Spiritual Gladness" not worldy, fleshly or material
excitement or emotion.

Reaction (ID) and Craving or Desire (EGO) for sensory, worldy, fleshly or material things
reaps a fruit of temporary satisfaction, like a child who has candy, but later, the sugar
high wears off and depression sets in.

It is similar to the phenomenon of "Holiday Blues" when one's emotions have been set up
by false expectations, and when the high wears off, depression sets in. Today in the US,
for all it's seeming 'joy' which is really temporal EMOTION, that leads later to mental
dissatisfaction, sometimes anguish, and for many, like any 'drug' an increasing desire or
demand for MORE, More, More ... leading to self destruction.

A quick look at the state of EMOTION and the MIND in the U.S.

Baal worship is what farmers do when they store too much hay in the barn.
Or more generically:

IDLEness leads to IDOLness:

Ecclesiastes 10:18
By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house
droppeth through.
(Don't run to fix your 'house' but look to your 'spiritual house')

Ezekiel 16:49
Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of
idleness was in her and in her daughters,
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor
and needy.

1 Timothy 5:12-13
Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle,
but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

why do I even bother talking to you?

when I said the Spiritual Fruit of the Spirit is Joy, you go and twist it into worldly terms.

for those who actually listen and can hear you will know what Joy truly means. it has nothing to do with the flesh but everything to do with the Spirit.

It is a state of being a state of peace in the Spirit that causes one to rejoice in the things God has revealed: His love and faithfulness to His children. Joy is not some temporal thing that is fleeting and like a sugar high or an adrenline rush but the wisdom that you tried your best to do whatever task God set you to do be it to run a race or feed the poor. Joy is the understanding of God's love and blessings on the things you do in His name that nothing done for the Glory of God is ever wasted. Joy is the understanding that you do not need to fear or be paranoid that you will sin because of taking pleasure in doing the will of God but simply enjoying and praising God for the many blessings He has given and sharing that with others.

IF you think that when I speak of Joy it is the "jezebel" spirit then what kind of spirit are you speaking from?

I will rest upon God's words not yours. I will build my temple of thoughts and beliefs upon the solid rock of Christ and His love is the mortar that binds. He tells me that we are to plant and grow trees of thoughts that bear the fruits of LOVE, Peace, Joy, Patience. long suffering, kindness, virtue, knowledge, brotherly kindness, and self control.

"So my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable, Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that NOTHING you do FOR the Lord is ever useless." 1 Corinthians 15: 58

what do you suggest people do for the Lord?

sit behind a computer screen all day posting their imagining and condemning others for doing the task God told them to do?

Read the article, address the issues stated therein. It is written by a person who knows the

The article is about BAAL. BAAL Worship was / is the root of the Jezebel Spirit. The article
speaks for itself, and one could certainly add specifics in terms of culture, economy, those
involved, behaviors and outcomes and etc. To find 'Joy' in the sensory or emotional sense is
a worldly spirit. Let's discuss BAAL and what it is today. Care to comment on the article, or

Care to comment on the article, or
on the Queen's Speech?

DA, Baal worship in the OT was sun worship and and Baal worship today would be the same only in a different form, would be nice if you could give some more Bible to explain what you mean.

2 Kings 23:4-5
(4) And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
(5) And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

They had Baal worship within the temple so today we need to look for the same for the man of sin brings Baal worship within the church.

Baal (
/beɪl/ bayl; sometimes spelled Bael, Baël (French), Baell) is one of the seven princes of Hell. He is mentioned widely in the Old Testament as the primary pagan idol of the Phoenicians, often associated with the pagan goddess Ashtaroth.

[edit] Archaeology and scripture

Baʿal is a title meaning "lord" that was applied to a number of West Semitic gods.[1]
Baal Hadad, probably the most widely worshiped Baal, was worshiped by Arameans who brought his worship to other parts of the Mediterranean. Early demonologists, unaware of Hadad or that the instances of the term "Baʿal" in the Bible referred to any number of local deities, few to none of them referring to Hadad, came to regard the term as referring to but one personage. Until archaeological digs at Ras Shamra and Ebla uncovered texts explaining the Syrian pantheon, the Baʿal Zebûb was frequently confused with various Semitic gods named Baʿal, and in the New Testament might refer to a high-ranking devil or to Satan himself.[2][3]
The Biblical and historical evidence shows that the Moabites worshiped a Baal. The pre-Islamic and Muslim sources show that the Meccans took over the idol Hubal from the Moabites.
[edit] Christian demonology

Cios is a Christian demon.[4] According to Christian demonology, Baal was ranked as the first and principal king in Hell, ruling over the East. According to some authors Baal is a Duke, with sixty-six legions of demons under his command. The term "Baal" is used in various ways in the Old Testament, with the usual meaning of master, or owner. It came to sometimes mean the local pagan god of a particular people, and at the same time all of the idols of the land. It is also found in several places in the plural Baalim, or Baals (Judges 2:11, 10:10). There were many variations, such as the sun god, the god of fertility, and Beelzebub, or the "lord of flies".
During the English Puritan period, Baal was either compared to Satan or considered his main assistant. According to Francis Barrett, he has the power to make those who invoke him invisible, and to some other demonologists his power is stronger in October. According to some sources, he can make people wise, speaks hoarsely, and carries ashes in his pocket.
While his Semitic predecessor was depicted as a man or a bull,[5] the demon Baal was in grimoire tradition said to appear in the forms of a man, cat, toad, or combinations thereof. An illustration in Collin de Plancy's 1818 book Dictionnaire Infernal rather curiously placed the heads of the three creatures onto a set of spider legs.

Baal worship today.I have read all of your posts on this, and found some views on this to be most interesting!! Before Jesus came into my life,I was involved in a cult called the Coven, some of you, have been into devil worship before Jesus as well,as I can tell by the words spoken. This cult I was involved in was the Mount Everest of those in such great sin.The cult was formed by a man now deceased,Anto-levey a former animal trainer,he started this cult in 1966.

This secret cult,as it took me 2 years before I could even become a member, doing drug dealing and other sinful matters.Baal was a false god used in place of the true worshiped god by devil worshippers, whos name is Abaddon, metioned in rev 9:11 It is a worship of really self, what you believe is true,is true, and what you believe can be done can be! Sin?? Only if you believe it is,and if you do believe, then why get concerned!

Most have no idea what or who the devil truly is.The word calls him what he truly is,( john 10:10) and john 8:44 The enemy is both a thief and the father of all lies, his will is to make one think there will in doing anything far superceeds believers! For believers come short in there believe and because of this,it is a false belief. This is there deception!!

In true devil worship, there is no sin, therfore nothing to be concerned about! The sacrifices made, as there were over 1200 animals that came up missing just last year in California alone, take the place of humans they wish to inpose there will on. The reason for sacrifice is to gain the favor.of Baal in there ritrual. Now I was never head of any sect, but I knew many members, after i departed from them. Jesus delivered me, and saved me from attacks.( Luke 10:19) This is not a coven one can just quit!!

There are people there who can really raise demons, as I once did myself in this. When Jesus took over my life in a very dramatic fashion! I was given decerment of spirits, this gift I did not ask for!! But soon after Jesus fully took over my life,I saw many freed from this horrible bondage! What I have seen many would not believe! Some of you would, because some reading this know excatly of what I speak of! The devil does not play!!

He is not a game, nor are his tools from which he uses others to bring them into prison like I was in! eph 4:27!! This can be done in ways many would just think is as fun!! Going to a horror movie, playing around with tarot cards, having a reading done, anything that has to do with fear, has to do with the enemy!!( 2 Tim 1:7) For God has not given is a spirit of fear!!BUT!! rather of power love and!!!! a very sound mind!! Fear is not having a sound mind, because it is gripped with fear! I found this out the hard way myself!

Baal worship is very real, and those who practice such things do so NOT!!! in public!! This cult is not for everyone,it does not welcome all because they say they wish to come to it!! You have to prove yourself very worthy first! Then!! maybe!!! they will invite you to a very secret meeting! Mark Twain Sammey davis junior, and others you would be most surprised of belong to such a cult! Many in Hollywood, many bands, singers, and even comics! As you all know, there are many different off shoots, like there are in different religions.

This cult is not like that! This Baal worship to them is as real as Jesus is to us! There is no secret handshake, but those in it, know of those who are in it as well! I speak of this only because I know many of you have fooled around with the enemy, you may have a charm at home from a witch, and you wonder why you are having problems in your mind? BURN IT!! oujah boards? BURN IT!!

Parker brothers first came out with this game, and they laughtingly said a spirit comes in every box!!They do not know how much truth they were speaking!! Mine was called Ben,and he told me when my Father who I hated, at what age he would die,Ben was correct! This brought me into great bondage!! I was stupid!! I only sought power over people!! Now in Jesus I look to free people!!

My brothers and sisters in Christ,Jesus is no game, and neither is the devil!! You do not change the devil,he changes you!! Flee far from the enemy, give Jesus your whole life, and then!!! stomp on the devils head!! Only through and by Jesus can the enemy be defeated! Look what happens when exorcists, who do not know Jesus fool around with the devil!!( acts 19:13-16!!!) Only Jesus can command them out,and we can, because Jesus lives in us!!AND!! we look unto him!! never us to do this!!Praise the Lord!! 1 Cor 12:3!! Jesus is LORD!! and no man can say this except!! by the Holy Spirit!! amen!
