Is reincarnation how eternal life works?

more fanatical ravings. this kind of spiralling is to be expected when people REFUSE to understand REGENERATION. please read Ephesians 2 and Romans 3 at the very least. IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WERE ALREADY DEAD before being raised to life it is YOU who is not saved. get a grip.
Zone,

Are you equating "regeneration" with reincarnation? Is reincarnation how you explain "the return of the Christ and the resurrection of the dead"?

I preach it becasue Jesus prayed this EXACT same spiritual swop in John 17! You go read it now and see how God does it.. OK! John 17...The best prayer ANY PERSON EVER PRAYED! And my Lord Jesus Prayed that prayer for me as well!

Thank You Lord Jesus, there are more and more Truth-preachers arising in your Spirit!

To those reading. Let no person decieve you. WE CAN NOT BE PERFECT. IF WE COULD CHRIST WOULD HAVE NOT NEEDED TO DIE.

Positionally we are crucified with Christ and that is a fact for every believer to embrace including being buried and raised with Him (Rom 6:4,5, Col 2:12, Rom 6:6, Gal 2:20). This is the death, burial and resurrection that we identify with when we believe upon the Son and are placed in Christ. This was the cross that Jesus Christ bore for us that we might have life (Jn 5:40, 10:10). Life only comes forth out of death. Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die it abides alone, but if it die it will bring forth much fruit (Jn 12:24).

The plan and will of God for every believer is to bring forth fruit in their life and to do that God must work death into that believer (2Cor 7:10,Gal 6:14-18). There must be situations and circumstances that confront the believer to work death in where the believer takes up his own cross and denies his own self-life that includes the desires and appetites of the mind and flesh. In this plan we die to the self-life of Adam, the old man, and we put on Christ, the new man, that is resurrected. In this plan God is taking the positional part of being crucified with Christ and making it experiential so that the life that we have in Christ can be revealed and manifest through death in our mortal bodies (2Cor 4:10,11). As we die daily in our experience in that plan as that corn of wheat, the resurrection life that we have in Christ will bare much fruit. How can we be a disciple unless we take up our cross, deny ourselves and follow Him (Mt 16:24, Mk 8:34,35).

Knowledge will not produce any fruit unto life in the believer without a cross (Jn 4:35-38, Rom 6:22), instead it will puff up and lack the kind of love that sent the Son to be crucified (Col 2:18-20). Doctrine will give us the truth and show us the way that we should walk, but if we do not take up a cross in that way there will be no power of resurrection within to be able to raise those that are dead in trespasses and sins. The power of salvation in the glorious gospel is that Christ was raised from the dead and when we believe upon Him we are also raised with Him that we may have His life dwelling in us (Eph 1:18-20, Col 1:26-29).

1Pt 1:3-9 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice , though now for a season, if need be , ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth , though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen , ye love ; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing , ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory : 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Just strawmen?

Or any comment on what I posted?

What did Paul mean when he said 'I die daily'?

Paul meant that we die daily, in the eyes of the unblievers, Just like they shifted Jesus out of towns, homes islands, and the synagouges, that is how you would like to shift us out from CC. You cannot recieve the truth becasue you do not want the truth!

To become perfectly REGENETRATED, you actually would want to be perfect! But since you prefer the lie that saints cannot be perfected, going 100% against Eph 4:11 to 13. You need to edit the Bible! And to see the futile mistake in that, just try to get rid of MAtthew 5:48.

You cannot becasue that is what God WANTS! God wants perfect people on this earth, and He MAKES perfect people on this earth FOR HIS GLORY, and there is NOTHING you can do about it, Not you and not SATAN! God has people in the Body of Christ, and He is arming them with the Truth... 1 John 3:9 Truth to spread a message other than the safeness in sin message you preach.

Get this one, just this one verse and this time just read it without the spirit of STRANGELOVE, and just hear God preaching this.....

Straight from God's lips..... We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Strangelove. I cannot change your view on this matter, you have to die before Jesus can live in you. I am almost dead, I put up a hard fight, thank the Lord, he will WIN ME OVER AND LET ME DIE IN/FOR HIS NAME!
He makes people perfect by forgetting their sins.

Sanctification in the Holy Spirit brings natural repentance so we dont ABIDE in sin.

But carrying on trying to work yourself to heaven.

It's heresy.

Christ clothes us in His righteousness
Isaiah 61:10

(10) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Romans 3:22
(22) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

It is only the righteousness of Christ which can make us perfect, no amount of obeying can make us perfect, Christ lived a perfect life for us (His righteousness). We are not only saved by His death but by His life.
Romans 5:10
(10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

We are not saved by good works we are saved for good works
Ephesians 2:8-10
(8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The only way we can overcome is to surrender to Him (die to self)
Romans 6:16
(16) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

All sin is selfishness the middle letter of sin is I the middle letter of pride is I but there is no I in Christ.
Galatians 2:20
(20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Philippians 2:4-5
(4) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
(5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
Slaves to Righteousness

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

Re: Is reincarnation how eternal life works?

Zone,

Are you equating "regeneration" with reincarnation? Is reincarnation how you explain "the return of the Christ and the resurrection of the dead"?
reincarnation?
no.

unregenerate man is dead.
dead to God, spiritually dead.

he is unable to regenerate himself, to be born again.

the new birth is a work done SOLEY BY GOD on behalf of the dead, blind man who can do nothing of his own will to regenrate himself.

salvation is a work of God, not by the will of man, not for him who runneth, but by God who chooses and shows mercy.

my point was, we WERE DEAD, but we were mercifully granted LIFE.
and we are to REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS.

not live in fear and dread of God because Jesus MADE PEACE WITH GOD FOR US.
HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES, BY HIS STRIPES OUR BROKEN RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD DUE TO OUR SIN IS HEALED.

REJOICE!

Ephesians 2
By Grace Through Faith
1And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the bodya and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

4Butb God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

One in Christ
11Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19So then you are no longer strangers and aliens,c but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God byd the Spirit.

Sorry Cobus, but saying that if a man can not be perfect he can not get to heaven is preaching law. Not grace.

I can't swap places with Jesus. He was perfect. I won't be perfect till I get to heaven. All I can do is try my best.

Cobus, If I coiuld be righteous. I WOULD NOT NEED Gods righteousness imputed to me.

Dude you think you can be perfect. You do not know scripture very well.

To those reading. Let no person decieve you. WE CAN NOT BE PERFECT. IF WE COULD CHRIST WOULD HAVE NOT NEEDED TO DIE.
just core doctrines EG.
rejected.
Cobus thinks he is going to be incarnated by Christ Himself and that's how he will be "perfect".

Cobus:

just accept the Good News of what Christ has already done on your behalf.
God is able to justify the ungodly.

Because Jesus is PERFECT.

He is your substitute both for sin, and for righteousness.

just accept the Gospel Cobus.

if you are trying to earn your salvation you will be rejected, since the wages for work is PAYMENT.
YOU HAVE A DEBT YOU CAN NEVER EARN ENOUGH TO PAY FOR. you will receive your wages. the wages of sin is death: eternal damnation.

if you accept that salvation is a gift, DONE FOR YOU, finished already, just TRUST CHRIST.

why can't you do that?

Heaven is in my heart, EG sorry I cannot go BACK to where I used to be, Strange, And strange this doctrine I believe and preach is to MANY people the false doctrine, only a FEW believe like Ramon and I, but that is part of our doctrine! The World will not recieve this doctrine, becasue they are of the World! We are not of the World, only in it preaching things not FOR the World but for those that also wants to be SAVED from this twisted world in iniquity!

The things we preach were not believed when Christ Himself preached it, and He said,,, They believed me not, they will not believe you either!

Strange REMEMBER this... I used to believe what you believe now! But then 1 John 3 and Matthew 7 clearly showed me God did more than had JEsus die on the cross... There are MANY people preaching of a life BERFORE the cross, but there is life AFTER the cross, this is the LIFE God wants us to live! Grace takes you RIGHT THROUGH THE CROSS! to Holiness!

Dying to one's own self is key to sanctification. How can God deliver you from something if you have no desire to walk away from it?

Just what was Paul referring to when he said 'I die daily'?
huh?
you don't know me dear.

when i was called and washed and the bondage to sin broken, i walked away from my sinful life.

i die daily (though its much easier than it was) to fear, worry, the cares of this life, the temptation to indulge in pleasurable things that are not pleasing to God.

i die daily to the natural man's inclination to preserve his own life, instead casting fear of death to the ground.

i struggle daily with the old man, but in my mind i serve and love the Lord, and so the body obeys the spirit more and more each day.

Paul was NOT saying, as the OP asserts that we literally kill ourselves.

thats ridiculous.

we are to live in this world, to love and to marry if we desire, to have children and celebrate the christian family. we are to walk among the lost, with compassion, and The Law & Gospel at the ready.

we serve and love our neighbours in our vocations - yes, we are to WORK.

we are to REJOICE IN OUR LIFE IN CHRIST.
and be at peace, and content, no matter what.

AND STOP SINNING...is that the part you wanted?
