I know the Lord God is true, but the whole world lies in wickedness. This is true. And who has seen the salvation of the Lord? I am sure that the Lord is pure and perfect. And I was afraid because of his grace. I saw it clearly. He revealed his grace to me, and ONLY by his grace am I saved. Now, where is doubt where there is faith? Those who have doubt cannot have faith, and those who are of the faith do not doubt.
SURELY, the Holy Spirit does speak the truth, and he cannot lie!! Now, here is the Law, and Righteousness and Grace:
Everyone has sinned, and God said, that anyone who sins, let him die the death. There was a law given in the Garden of Eden, that if they ate of the tree, they would surely die. God is not a liar, so in the eating they surely died. And all men were dead from Adam to Jesus Christ, as all had sinned.
So, the law commands justice. And we were all guilty in that court, the law was our judge. But then the Lord (Judge of judges), said, I WILL HAVE MERCY ON ISRAEL!!
So, where there is forgiveness of the breaking of the law (clean sheet), sin cannot be charged against you (even though you had done it). So this is how you are free, not by your own works, but by the work that makes you clean (Jesus gave his life for the sins of the world, so that anyone who calls on his name for salvation will be saved.) The gospel is of mercy to those who did not fit the bill for mercy. Live this gospel.
So, you were given a chance to go again out of the court (you are a free man), but there was left a command to, ''Go and sin no more.'' All the past sins are wiped away, and you have a new bill.
Now, your sheet was heavy and stained with sin, but that sin was washed away by the blood of the lamb, making you clean. But this blood, HALLELUJAH, washes whiter than snow!! It also purges the INSIDE of a man. This blood is not like the old sacrifices, but it purgers the core of a man, in his heart, it cuts deep. So that anyone who has received this word into GOOD GROUND WILL PRODUCE THE FRUIT, IN THE CORRECT LIKENESS!! HALLELUJAH!!!
Now we see a law also that another saw. One working in our members which is contrary to the new law of liberty in Christ Jesus to good works, which is the working of the law in our flesh, but there is a working of a law which is of the Spirit. So, as it was written, if we walk after the flesh we will of the flesh reap corruption, but if after the Spirit, of the Spirit we will reap life eternal.
Jesus Christ suffered the corruption of our flesh in his flesh, to make us free from the corruption that ruled in our lives. His love, shown in his blood, washed our consciences clean. So, this covering that the Lord will require is that blood on the conscience. Is it there when one sins? Will he see his error?
The Holy Spirit reminds us of the blood, and when we are not remembering the blood and the body. He will remind us. If we ignore it, then there remains no sacrifice for sin, and that rap sheet builds up by every sin. If we harden our hearts, then we remain guilty, but the humble go to the Lord so he can reprove them and show them their righteousness.
All Glory to the righteous holy and just judge. Forgive me my debts as I forgive my debtors, and do not lead me into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one!!
