Do you show mercy? Or does your wrath consume you? How longsuffering was the Lord with you when you were in ignorance, and lived in the same way? And did the Lord make you a judge also when he saved you, or were you as helpless as any?

Anyone who does not show mercy needs to repent as well. It is one thing to say, ''REPENT,'' and another to demonstrate your own repentance.

Who was the gospel to, but sinners? So it was to you as well. But in love one slow to anger and wrath.

Yes, the passion of the Lord burns in me also, but I should check that passion to see if it is still from the Lord, or the lusts that war.

So, there is also coming a time when those who preach righteousness, will be, within themselves, not righteous, keeping off mercy. Their wrath will consume them, not considering themselves.

Jesus does not teach wrath, but mercy. If anyone will judge, it will be his words. Let his words work, and you stop.

Have you forgotten Jesus, and how that because of his goodness you were lead to repentance?

There are some that will not repent, but it is not up to you, but to God to convert them. We can pray and hope for it, but only the Lord can bring salvation, not one man by preaching or teaching can.

Jesus also said, ''I will have mercy, not sacrifice.''

May Jesus bless you.

:) yes mercy is important but so is making amends.

Matthew 5:23-25
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

Job 42
7 And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. 8 Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.”

Matthew 6:14-15
(14) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
