What is this gospel of Jesus Christ??? And to whom is it the gospel???
I thank the Lord Jesus Christ, who renews our strength. I thank the Lord God for his Son Jesus Christ, who knows all things and teaches all things good and expedient for those who trust him. Who gives gifts to those that love him, and whom he loves and died for.
What is this good news that Jesus came to preach? This good news of Jesus Christ?
A man went up to a stranger and said, ''I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU, SOMEONE IS HERE TO SAVE YOU!!!''
But the stranger said, ''I am not in danger, so I don't need someone to save me. You are crazy.''
Surely, this is not good news to this man, but it is foolishness.
But the man says, ''OH NO, YOU ARE IN DANGER, SEE... AND HE POINTS OUT THAT THE MAN IS WALKING TOWARD A HOLE IN THE GROUND.''
But the stranger say, ''I see no hole in the ground, you are crazy.''
But the man says, ''OH NO, THERE IS NO HOLE THERE YET, BUT THERE WILL BE IF YOU KEEP WALKING THAT WAY!!''
The stranger says, ''Well, if I fall in that ground, then I will call this savior to pull me out.''
So the stranger keeps walking, and he comes on top of the loose ground, and it gives way, and he falls into a hole in the ground, and dies.
It was good news. But the stranger did not adhere to it. He could have at least not been so snobbish and listen to the man, or at least test his case. He could have at least wondered about it, and not shrugged him off.
Those who are being saved have heard the warning, and we have checked our path, and we saw that we were on a road to hell. We heard the warning and turned away from our wicked paths. GOOD NEWS!! Because if we continued on that path we would have found ourselves in hell!!!
JESUS CHRIST SAVES!! THIS IS GOOD NEWS!!!
My friend, anyone who continues to walk the path of sin will perish. But anyone who repents of sin and calls on the Savior, Jesus Christ, will have life eternal. Try my words, look at the world, and what sin has created. Look at what the result of sin is. And I will tell you that from the least of sin, to the greatest, DEATH!!
Repentance is TURNING away from the path that leads to death to the path that leads to eternal life!!! If you want death choose sin. If you want life choose Jesus Christ!! HE IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE!!!
