You are right, he (God) was very strict in keeping Israel pure with regards to other religions; on the other hand still commanded that they treat foreigners in their midst kindly.
Could you perhaps expand on what you meant?

Those that seek the oppertunity, and will respect and obey the laws of the country should be allowed, according to the rules made , so as not to bring destruction or so as not to over burden to the country.
It is those with the idea of entitlement, believing they have more importance and right than those that have obeyed and respected the laws.
That one questions wether they should be given a free pass, when they have no respect for the laws, and rules that govern the admitance.
What makes these more important than any other?
Tonight I saw in the news, a man carrying a sign that said...
"Give us citizenship, free medical, free housing and free food!"
"Or we will continue to shoot and kill the cops in arizona!"
These are the ones ,one has to say, why would we welcome you here?

To tell the truth there is no such thing as a Christian nation no matter the time in history,for the only nation that did it right in the eyes of God in the truth was Israel at one time,and some other nations might have acknowledged the Bible but it was mixed in with their own beliefs and occult including America.
No nation has been in the truth concerning Christianity,as far as the government,rulers that rule that land,but still have their own beliefs mixed in with the Bible,but some people of those nations have been in the truth.
America is not really a Christian nation,but a nation that allows all religions to be practiced there,even Satanism,and they want to show the world that all religions can live in harmony and all races,so they have no problem allowing Muslims to live there.
