Hebrews 7:1-5
For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

Angel of the Lord

Genesis 16:10
And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

Exodus 3:2-6
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Judges 2:1
And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

Jesus Christ appearing to Abraham in flesh

Genesis 18:1-3
And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My LORD,
if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant.

Yes.... Jesus the same yesterday, today, and forever! Have you figured out that there is not three, but one? And that only one will be sitting on the throne, he is after all the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The Holy Spirit is not another person but is the Father, for it please the Father that in him all fulness dwell. To wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.

Dear cronjecj: In the OT, regarding Jesus Christ, in Isaiah

53:11, about the suffering of the Messiah: Which Bible is the

Word of God in Isaiah 53:11? The NIV, or the Authorized

KJV?

Isaiah 53:11 says in the NIV:

"After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be

satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify

many, and he will bear their iniquities.

Isaiah 53:11 says in the KJV (leaving out the word "light"; cf.

Isaiah 8:16,20 KJV):

"He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by

his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many, for he

shall bear their iniquities."

How do you know, cronjecj, which text is the true Word of

God. Should we follow the Greek Septuagint LXX and the Dead

Sea Scrolls Hebrew Bible upon which the NIV is based, or

should we follow the Hebrew Masoretic Bible upon which the

King James Version is based, in Isaiah 53:11? How do you

know and understand which version, either the NIV or the KJV,

is the true English rendition of the true Word of God? How do

you know which version is more correct?

NIV New International Version

KJV King James Version

God bless you. In Erie PA USA Scott R. Harrington Saturday,

I have heard that the chances for Christ to fulfill just 48 of the prophecies of the messiah in the OT would be 10157
