Joseph had two dreams he was going to be famous or going to be important or going to be special for the Lord.
He dreamed his brothers would bow down to him and his mom and dad would bow down to him too.
He was going up the ladder of success for the Lord, but instead went down the ladder and ended up being beaten up by his brothers, thrown into a pit, sold as a slave, excused of rape, and thrown into jail. And it was not really what he had in mind. Hi through he was going to be famous special important but instead ended up on the dunghill.
Was the lord real, was his word true, and was the dream from the lord or was he just thinking too much of himself. Doubts, doubts, doubts.
13 years later he interpreted a dream for pharaoh and ended up second in command in Egypt.
9 years after that his brothers bowed down to him and then his mom and dad bowed down to him too.
22 years before his dream came true.
Before the Lord razed him up to be on top of the ladder for the Lord, the Lord brought him to his knees and made absolutely nothing out of him and put him on a dunghill.
Have you had two dreams that the Lord is going to lift you up and going to you’s? Well expect to be brought to your knees and end up on the dunghill first.
Genesis 41:32 And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; [it is] because the thing [is] established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
1 Samuel 2:8He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, [and] lifteth up the BEGGAR from the dunghill, to set [them] among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth [are] the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
