Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

I have been sharing verses from my bible study. This verse tells us we can have peace in abundance by gaining knowledge of God. How do we get knowledge? Read, study and pray for understanding. How can you go wrong if you do all three? Getting into Gods word daily helps us arm ourselves to face the world.

My favourite passage is in the chapter starting at verse 5:

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

When we pray and stay in the word we become stronger.With Gods' help it becomes alot easier to battle the enemy.
