Lets knock this lie in the head shall we.., lets take out the trash one by one if we must

Wherever did anyone get the notion gentiles couldn't be saved in the OT because here we have King Nebuchadnezzar writing verbatim in Daniel 4., feel free to look the whole chapter up if you like and this is not the only example but I chose this one because I grew up being school in church that Nebuchadnezzar was an evil bad man who went to hell

Last I looked he was a Babylonian or am I mistaken?

So one at a time lets throw out the trash from our theology.., could people from outside of Israel be saved or not?

At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion;
his kingdom endures from generation to generation.
35 All the peoples of the earth
are regarded as nothing.
He does as he pleases
with the powers of heaven
and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back his hand
or say to him: “What have you done?”
36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

I was thinking about Melchizedek, King of Salem, also. The Priest of the Most High God.

Genesis 14:18,19 18And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
19And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

I'm not sure where Melchizedek came from or what happened to him afterward. There was a time when I thought he was Jesus. But I'm not 100% sure. He wasn't a son of Abraham or an Israelite, in the physical sense.

don't forget about rahab!

in fact look at this...

here is what rahab said in joshua 2:11..."the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below."

which is exactly what moses urged the israelites to acknowledge in deuteronomy 4:39..."Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below."

The way I see it Rachel is the Jews were supposed to be a light to the world but they took that light and hid it and claimed it as their own.., they were supposed to be a light but they themselves are not that light

They refused to take the light into the world so Jesus came and took the scepter

Now Jesus himself actively seeks people who will harken unto him

Israel are a chosen people yes.., but we all who are saved are called of God as a chosen people.., we do not now parade ourselves and exclude others from the promises of God but rather we are to take the light into the world. This is where the Jews went wrong in my mind

“And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, LET ALL HIS MALES BE CIRCUMCISED, and then let him come near and keep it; and HE SHALL BE AS ONE THAT IS BORN IN THE LAND: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.” (Exodus 12:48)

The fact that people think that God would send a Gentile to hell no matter how genuine he was should disgust everyone as it does me

Isaiah 56:6-8.foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD , and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant-these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." The Sovereign LORD declares-he who gathers the exiles of Israel: "I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered."

The whole book of Jonah is dedicated to the salvation of a Gentile city – the people of Nineveh. God is not only concerned with His people Israel, but He decides to act because of the wickedness of Nineveh. He does not simply destroy the city, but because of His great mercy He decides to warn them and give them an opportunity to repent. Jonah, His chosen mouthpiece, is well aware of God's character and refuses to go to Israel’s enemies. God could have let Jonah go, executing the planned judgment, saying, “I tried”, as many of us would have done. However, Jonah’s life was even nearly lost, but God preserved him until he finally gave in and obeyed. And against all odds, one of the most wicked people truly repented and was spared for the time being. Jonah is a great testimony of God's love for all people, and should be an encouragement to us Gentiles, that He reached us and that we are to reach others, even the worst enemies of God.

The book of Ruth records the story of Ruth and Naomi. Naomi was a Israelite whose husband and sons died in the foreign land of Moab. Both her sons had married Moabite women, and while one of their wives stayed in Moab, the other – Ruth – followed Naomi back to the land of Judah. Not only that, but following Hebrew customs, she married the kinsman redeemer Boaz (whose mother was Rahab) and was not given a whole book in the Bible, but became the ancestor of Christ (see Matthew 1:5).

He tried to save Sodom and Gomorrah did he not, just as with Ninevah he sent warning and asked them to turn aswell but they would not, it doesnt nullify the fact that he wanted them to turn and repent. Lot and his daughters did however harken unto God

And how bout a close review of all the wives of the Israelites who are mentioned.., many many wives were from neighboring nations

so then what must be the conclusion?

how much longer will we let this heresy that gentiles could not be saved float around among us., because it stinks to the high heavens and diminishes from the true character of God

Gentiles could be saved in the Old Testament if they acknowledged the God of Israel and took hold of His covenant.

33And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God(Leviticus 19:33-34).

17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
18Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
19Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.
20But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
21And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein(Leviticus 22:17-21).

34And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law.
35There was not a word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers that were conversant among them(Joshua 8:34-35).

9The LORD preserveth the strangers(sojourners in Israel); he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down(Psalm 146:9).

Strangers,Gentiles, that dwelt in the land of Israel could sacrifice animals to atone for their sins and take hold of God's covenant in the Old Testament.

Ruth who was a Moabitess woman,a Gentile, married Boaz a Jew,and her Gentile blood is in the bloodline of Christ, which Ruth said, your God will be my God,and your people my people, taking hold of God's covenant, and since her blood is mingled in the bloodline of Christ,it would seem like she would be saved.

What would be the purpose of a Gentile woman's blood being mixed with Jewish blood in the bloodline of Christ. It seems so that salvation could come to the Gentiles, which the blood shed would be both Jewish and Gentile blood.

I'm actually curious what Journey has to say about this seeing as a big part of her heresy hinges on burying this truth

Perhaps God will reveal His truth concerning that among other things to her.

now here is an example of a gentile that was saved and everyone should know of: Ruth.

Ruth 1
4 Now they took wives of the women of Moab: the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth.

She was a Moabite.

want to know where else she shows up?
