The word of God in the Bible is not just the spoken word it is the living word.
Hebrews 4:12
(12) For the word of God is quick (living), and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

When we hear the words of the Bible then we are having an audience with God
John 6:63
(63) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Knowing that the words of the Bible is the living word of God, that it is an audience with God what should be our response?
