1 Corinthians 9:24



24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

When you run a race the enemy will try and slow you down but never give up the fight to the finsh. The finsh line may seem miles away but each step you make gets you closer. Jesus will give you the strength you need to cross the finsh line. Jesus will be by your side each step of the way.

I have always loved this scripture, as it always brings comfort.
The words as well," I have kept the faith" bring peace.
Because as spoken to, it is faith in Jesus, that brings all needed to run the race, and reach the goal! :)

I really needed to read this word today, Dad, thank you so much for sharing these words. I get discouraged sometimes about my health but this is a reminder that Jesus will give us the ability to ''run'' the race. I always thought the words, ''I have fought the good fight and my race is run'' were so powerful and beautiful for people.
