Now this is not to be mistaken for some silly 'code' garbage, where you pick every 7 or 10th letter out of verses to make a word. As some know the hebrew language is a verb language which makes sense as to why each individual letter in the hebrew alphabet has a whole definition of meaning behind it. And so giving us a more deeper understanding of YHVH's word and language that He gave us. And the very first verb in the Bible is 'created'

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created...

The word create/d in hebrew is 'bara' בּרא which is from right to left, beit-resh-aleph

As in my other thread on Genesis, beit and resh together are 'son of' and aleph means strengh, leader, God.

bar - son of

aleph- God

create/d bara

"Son of God created" all things.

Which as we see in scripture

John 1:1-3 1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) He was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Shalom

This is also confimed in the Targum Neofiti from 200 years before Christ, where they translated/interpreted Genesis 1:1 as In the beginning the Firstborn God created, the Christ was acknowledged to have been the creator before John ever pointed that out.

Thank you CanadaNZ, I didn't know that. That's pretty cool. Shalom

I was asked why the hebrew language writes from right to left. To be honest I really don't know, my best guess is that the right hand or right side of things, Yeshua @ the right hand of Yah, etc. is that the right side is looked upon in scripture as a good thing, for a lack of better words. That's my only guess as to why YHVH made the hebrew from right to left. Or maybe when Yah gave Moses the tablets, when he watched Yah write them with His finger, Yah wrote from right to left. Who knows, sounds good though, LOL. Shalom

East = self

Job 15:2 Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
Job 15:3 Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?
Job 15:4 Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.
Job 15:5 For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.

Your belly is your mind east is self and wind is breath speaking words. Do you see what Job is saying? We are not to speak vain knowledge filling ones mind with words from self!

Job 27:19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
Job 27:20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Job 27:21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
The words/thoughts from self carry him away.

Eze 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

They worshipped the sun toward the east.

Note: A priest always ministered with his back to the east (self)
We must turn our backs to self and face Christ to receive light (understanding) from heaven.

The Hebrew language is written from the right (east) to the left (west) away from self.

Notice that when we write we do it from left (west) to right (east) towards self.

When we put the word "I" in a sentence we capitalize it. I (self)

Dan 4:30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

great Babylon, that I have built by the might of my power for the honour of my majesty

What we have hear is pride. Babylon was represented by a lion. Lion is pride.

Pro 30:30 A lion, strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
Psalms 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Wise men from the east
Mat 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Mat 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Wise men came and worshiped Christ.

Question: What made these men wise?

They were traveling from the east to the west ( away from self). They saw the light in the heavens ( heavenly understanding) and acted upon it. Then they met Jesus and worshiped Him.

We must also be wise men understanding heavenly light and act upon it to meet Jesus and worship Him. This can only be done when we learn to bury our pride and follow the Lamb withersoever he leads.

More serious note, all ancient languages from my research all wrote from right to left, Paleo hebrew(paleo alphabet above) is what the Torah(5 books of Moses) were originally written in. As some may know, the present day hebrew letters are called the Babylonian block letters, there may be a couple other names for them. But Israel didn't adopted that style writing until after they came out of their 70 yr. captivity in Babylon. Shalom

That was interesting Lao,

I wonder........wasn't The Garden of Eden, Eastward in Eden?
This really makes you think.

I never really done a study on the word East,
I know the Sun rises in the East and Sets in the West.
I wonder what the significance of that is?

[FONT=&quot]We must forsake all of our thoughts on what we think and receive His thoughts to correct the corrupt thinking we have received from the world.
Eastward in Eden

Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
A garden = a mind

Isa 58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Notice the verse says we will be like a watered garden.

Jer 31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

Their soul shall be as a watered garden

Garden of Eden = The mind of God

Isa 51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

Eze 31:9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

God put man in the east part of the garden of Eden and he was to head west towards God turning His back to the east (self).
However man did not do this instead he ate off of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

This is when you mix your thoughts with Gods thoughts. Mankind has been eating off of that tree ever sense the fall.

It is all we know. We must learn to die to self and be born again. We must put away our thoughts and eat off of the tree of life which is Christ!

Proverbs 3 is talking about wisdom. Who is wisdom?

1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Christ is wisdom

Proverbs 3:18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
Christ is the tree of life.

Pro 8:35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

Isa 65:2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way not good, after their own thoughts;

We must reject our own thoughts. This is very hard because it is all that we have ever known. It is that familiar spirit that comes up from the earth.

2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

If I remember my research correctly, also whenever YHVH did something phenominal in scripture He would bring in a wind from the east, and if I am correct, and as far as I remember living in Israel, there is never a wind coming from the east unless something miraculous comes from it. But don't hold me to it. Shalom

Hurricanes are off the african coast, they have all that water to travel on,
and by the time they get to us, oh boy!

AS THE LIGHTNING SHINES FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST, SO SHALL IT BE IN THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN.

when he first came, the observation of the wise men was that they saw his star in the east.

The Angels shall gather Gods elect from the east to the west in the great resurrection.

The brightness of his Glory shines from the east (right) to the west (left). The right hand of God represents all power and authority.

Exodus 10:13
(13) And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
Exodus 14:21
(21) And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

I thought Neofiti was first century?

Anyway, interesting discussion :)
