yes. I'm tormented by one. I've seen red eyes glaring at me at night. I feel something touching me and hear clicking sounds at night. And it all goes back to when I spoke to one. I've also heard of people seeing them.

Yeah they do exist, but what you must know is that you have authority over them, through out the new testament we are told that we have authority of kings and gods and nothing shall hurt us (Luke 10:19, Ecclesiates 8:4)

Yes but there is a distinct difference between being possessed by a demon and being oppressed or influenced by a demon. Demon possession involves a demon having direct/complete control over the thoughts and actions of a person while demon oppression or influence involves a demon or demons attacking a person spiritually or encouraging them into sinful behavior. They are fascinating to some people because they seem to open the window into a curious and unknown world that lies beyond the limits of our physical existence.

You know what i don't understand about demons? to me it does not make any sense why a demon would allow a human to witness them, or even to possess a person. here's why it doesn't make any sense: if any of you have ever seen a demon then he accomplished only two things.
1. he/she scared you.
2. The demon did a very good job of proving that there is an afterlife and there is a hell thus making you want to go to heaven even more
and that means, by allowing you to see them, they did almost a 100% of sending you to heaven which would obviously defeat their purpose. So technically when you see a demon shouldn't you be thanking them? why is the logic about demons so messed up?

Ive had more than one person saying they are haunted by demons cause of things that have happened to them at night. What they didnt know is that there is a perfectly reasonable explanation to some of those experiences. There are many sleep disorders out there and one is called sleep paralysis.

Basically what happens is you get stuck in an REM sleep stage. Your brain is awake, but your body is in REM stage so you are unable to move or speak. It can happen either when you are about to fall asleep or just as you wake up. They can last from minutes to hours and it may be accompanied by hallucinations. Noises, an acute sense of danger, the feeling of being choked, or someone sitting on your bed or on your chest. A malevolent presence in your room.

I don't know about your particular experience Brandon777, but before confirming that you have a demon visiting you at night, perhaps you should just seek medical help and see if it might just be as simple as a medical condition.

Demons=followers of Satan
Satan only wants to steal, kill, and destroy. He isn't smart, but he isn't stupid, either - I can safely say that he would not do anything to get you to believe in Jesus at all. If he did, the devil wouldn't be so evil, now would he?

To thank a demon would be like thanking your enemy in war that you see him with his gun trying to shoot you. Granted demons don't carry around guns trying to shoot you, but they do lie when trying to kill you...

Besides that, I think that we as humans give too much credit to the devil sometimes and don't realize that he's been defeated for quite a while. Not to say that demons don't possess/oppress/depress people, but the point remains.

Actually for your information Satan is the second most intelligent being (right behind God). And your second sentence proved my point exactly. Believing in God can be done only through faith correct? A lot of people don't go on the assumption of faith alone anymore and they want real, tangible evidence. The devil is the only being that is creating evidence, meaning by showing up he is only proving more and more the existence of God, which ultimately proves Satan isn't as evil as we are led to believe OR there is a major loophole in this theory we have created about demons.

Another thing that confuses me about demons is that why are they allowed to roam the earth? they are supposed to be in eternal punishment aren't they? they shouldn't be allowed to enjoy this planet that we're on right now. - thinking about it, if i sadly went to hell i know i for sure would be coming to earth as much as i could to get away from that torture, as with everyone in hell, so why isn't this planet overrun by demons right now?

I'm sorry but I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say in those first few sentences. My sister was actually a good example of how the devil helped her stay on her path. Her place is apparently haunted and one night when she came home (this is around the time when she was questioning the existence of God), her skull ring (which she had lost many months ago) was sitting in the middle of her living room floor and after she started relaxing for the night she heard her back door slam two times and went to check it out only to find her door deadbolted from the inside. Ever since then she has been completely convinced of the existence of spirits.

And not thanking them for anything at all is kind of harsh isn't it? What about the people you loved that died in a state of mortal sin, after they die what's the point in burying them? why not just cremate their bodies since all they are going to do anymore is try to get others to hell with them (even if they were the kindest person on this planet)?

What do you have to say about St. John Vianney then? He was a very religious man but was tormented by demons for over 35 years. I am nowhere near the man he was yet I have never even come close to being physically attacked or even witnessed a demon. You said that by sinning we allow devils into the world, now i know you're just using your own speculation and not something that is actually known, but just for sake of curiosity how do you think after wandering around the earth and tempting us to sin how do the demons get banished back to hell?

Problem is you're assuming that everyone thinks and responds to all situations in the same way. Its just not as simple as saying 'this happens and a person automatically will respond in x manner'. Look at the killer, Sean Sellers. He started out as a typical cheesy occultist, then decided he wanted more than what he saw most had. He talked to someone higher up in the ranks of his ... coven... or whatever group he was in. They gave him some sort of incantation. After stripping naked and preforming whatever chants and rituals were required as he lay there, he felt hands start touching him. And hearing voices. They touched him all over and apparently this went on for some time.
Was his reaction to think 'wow, heaven and hell are real i better turn to God'? No, he was so intrigued and intoxicated by the event he delve even deeper into the occult. Til, he finally became fully possessed. And at 17 i believe, murder his parents in their sleep. This guy didn't run to God at the first sign of demons, he got more involved. And many others are the same. Some people do come to the realization of the evil in their lives and the negative effects of it, others seem to revel in it and does nothing but drive them deeper into evil.
Think about it, legions of demons have been practicing and refining their methods of dealing with people for thousands of years. You, on the other hand, have a much more limited knowledge of how spiritual things operate, how the human mind operates, and only a very short span of time to apply your 'logic' to understand the situation. Your, or my logic on how things 'should' be is nothing to their knowledge and experience.
Also, many people who see demons confuse them for 'ghosts' and never realize what they're experiencing, and by having a belief in ghosts can actual pull people away from the bible and the true God and into other wrong beliefs.

If they are then im just wondering how did they get on earth? and how did they get created? about a year

ago we had something come to our town that might have been a demon it terrorize lake providence it

happened one night when i went outside to got to the store late at night the sky was not your average day

darkness i smelled smoke outside then there was a building that burned down with a man inside everyone

said they were trolls because the man that lived there was exploring evil in his house when the cops went

inside the house after the smoke cleared they said there was just a giant black hole laying in the floor there

were no stairs it was only a big dark hole the cops said it was strange like the stairs had somehow diapered

on there own they walked around taking pictures inside the house avoiding falling inside the huge hole

then they said as they were about to retrieve the mans burned body something little the size of a

leprechaun scrambling quickly caught there attention though they couldn't id what it was they could see

that it was a creature not from this earth the creature ran away from the officer and retreated in to the

black hole as the cops were about to leave the house they found some creatures burned up laying beside

the dead the mans body that burned up inside he house the cops took some pictures then in 2 days it

was all over the town everyone knew about it the teachers told the students don't go outside at night or

the evil trolls will get you my brothers teacher gave my brother rides home regularly because she

saw the pictures and they scared her people started to buy guns and gangsters kept saying i got a glock

so if the troll wont some he can come get it my uncle john ran off copies off the pics taken of the creature

dead burnt up and then he and the cops passed out pictures to everyone in lake providence everyone kept telling us not

to out at night and telling us to buy some guns and protect our selves the troll jokes was all over our town me and

my sisters school in less than a day it was in the newspaper my cousin walked outside at night with a gun

because he was scared of the pics he told me he never believed trolls were real until he viewed those pics

i still have the pics jonh and the officers gave us in my email of it i am hopping to find a site to post the

pics so i can get paid off this creature if anyone knows any sites that will pay for the discovering of this demon like

creature and im talking about thousands or more money let me know also if anyone wants to look at the pics

i have in my email *warning* they are terrifying but if you can stomach it let me know i

A response to Ugly, Sean was one of the very few exceptions that went psychotic after the incident, there is a much higher ratio of people that believe in heaven and hell so much more after an incident like that. And we know that Satan is very intelligent and that he will do anything to keep anyone from getting into heaven which means that he might be okay with a 1:1 ratio of heaven/hell. but i don't think he would even want a 1 hell to 2 heaven ratio, much less that here in America 75% of the people are christians, which means on average he would have a 1:4 ratio. Think back towards the middle ages when a demon would posess a person, only one person suffered while the entire family and friends would believe in God so much more which would surely help them get to heaven which would defeat that demons whole purpose.

I fight against the idea of ghosts fervently. Most people don't believe they actually exist, they just like the adrenaline rush of going into an abandoned place at night (which i have done multiple times) and when they hear things and freak out i just use some logic to understand why something just fell or what made that sound. I kinda ruin the scare people wanna get when i come along with them haha.
There is no such things as ghosts though because after a person died, why would God forget about them? If that were the case he would be the most cruel, uncaring God ever (which we know is obviously not the case because it's impossible for God to forget anything).
