Jesus told us not to call ourselves teachers:

But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. Matt 23:8 RSV

Should we obey Jesus?

Jas 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

One can teach without calling oneself a teacher. It is prideful to call oneself a teacher. Jesus told us not to do it.

We have one teacher, that is Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh!
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Seems the answer is easly seen in this. :)
