Before any of you charge in, on your high horse and quote Mat 7:1 to me, this verdict
has been made by the church, that is OUTSIDE the USA. I agree with the charge
and bring it to your attention. BEFORE you do reply, you will have to read the copied/paste
comments from a few websites ALONG with reading the entire website. The charge laid
on Christians in the USA is vaild. Here are some issues.

1. Praying : Christian Prayer Quotations - Quotes about Prayer

65. “The great people of the earth today are the people who pray! I do not mean those who talk about prayer; nor those who say they believe in prayer; nor those who explain prayer; but I mean those who actually take the time to pray. They have not time. It must be taken from something else. That something else is important, very important and pressing, but still, less important and pressing than prayer. There are people who put prayer first, and group the other items in life's schedule around and after prayer. These are the people today who are doing the most for God in winning souls, in solving problems, in awakening churches, in supplying both men and money for mission posts, in keeping fresh and strong their lives far off in sacrificial service on the foreign field, where the thickest fighting is going on, and in keeping the old earth sweet a little while longer.” S.D. Gordon (Emphasis added)

66. “Up in a little town in Maine, things were pretty dead some years ago. The churches were not accomplishing anything. There were a few Godly men in the churches, and they said: 'Here we are, only uneducated laymen; but something must be done in this town. Let us form a praying band. We will all center our prayers on one man. Who shall it be?' They picked out one of the hardest men in town, a hopeless drunkard, and centered all their prayers upon him. In a week, he was converted. They centered their prayers upon the next hardest man in town, and soon he was converted. Then they took up another and another, until within a year, two or three hundred were brought to God, and the fire spread out into all the surrounding country. Definite prayer for those in the prison house of sin is the need of the hour.” Dr. R.A. Torrey

2. Christians in China pray : Chinese Christians Pray

Bro Ren: Let us take prayer first. The leaders of the church in China try to pray three to four hours a day. That is normal. But then there are some brethren who are totally committed to pray. Almost every minute they are awake, they are praying. They cannot even be elders in the church because of the amount of time they spend in prayer. They have two kinds of leaders in the church. They have spiritual leaders, who fast and pray; then they have practical operational leaders, who are active in everyday affairs of the church. The praying leaders are praying for the whole church, and especially for the practical leaders. They are not in a preaching ministry. The operational leaders go to them for direction and wisdom. Very few Westerners have ever met these elders. These men are older men who cannot travel anymore, so they are mainly in that ministry. It literally keeps the church on track. They hear from the Lord and give answers to the practical leaders.

3. Christians in China read the Bible :
http://across.co.nz/ChineseChristiansPray.html

Bro Ren: There are two kinds of fasting in China. Most of the pastors have to fast because they don't have money to buy food. It is a natural part of their lives. The other kind of fasting is out of a burden for someone or some spiritual issue. When you read from Brother Yun's book, you will read how he fasted one hundred days to get one Bible during the Cold War revolution. He was eating a small bowl of rice each day; that is all. That means there was no time that he wasn't fasting. After one hundred days of prayer and fasting, he received a Bible in a supernatural way. That story is there. It is not in anyway special. The people fast like that often.

4. Christians in China pray for Christians in the USA : Praying for Persecution

NASHVILLE, TN (ANS) -- A Southern Baptist leader has revealed that the Chinese house church movement is praying that American Christians might experience the kind of persecution they have seen in China so that it would ignite a similar revival in America.

Draper then said, “Once I recovered from the shock of such a profound statement, I thought about the irony: We in America keep praying for God to bless us –- and Christians in other nations are praying God will allow us to experience persecution so that we’ll act like the blessing we were made to be. I shudder at the thought that we are on the road to persecution, brought on because of our own arrogance.

-------------------------

Now, I ask, are you dedicated as these guys? Are you praying 2 to 4 hours a day?
Would you fast 100 days just to get one Bible? The church is growing OUTSIDE the
USA. But in the USA, it seems to be dying. The USA has gone downhill over the past
40 years and Christians have acted asleep. Today's Christians in the USA will have to
give an account of themselves to the Lord one day. What will they answer?

1. I was wrapped up in txt msging?
2. Spent all my free time social networking?
3. Addicted to video games?
4. Cable TV? (Can't let this wide screen 3D HDTV go to waste)
5. Social activist?
6. My own pleasure and entertainment was more important?

Rev 3:1-6 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. (2) Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. (3) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. (4) Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. (5) He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (6) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Those Christians outside the USA will fast 100 days to get a Bible, while Christians in the
USA have several they wont even read daily. They spent hours praying, we spend hours playing. There are some dedicated Christians in the USA, but they are few
in number. I have heard the call for Christians in the USA to step up and get it in
gear for 25 years now. It isn't happening. What's the problem? Well, I already
reported 6 problems, above, for this generation of Christians in the USA. The attitude
seems to be, "I got my ticket out of hell, I go to church on Sunday, and this about all
I'm putting into this Christian walk." There are athelites who train hours a day and play
a professional sport. There are the rest who sit at home and watch them perform.
Are you a professional Christian or just a professing Christian?

Christians outside the USA judge us Christians inside the USA and the judgement is
true. They show how its done. They set the bar. Christians in the USA can rise to that
bar and become Christian Professionals or keep doing what you have been doing.
Its your accountability. You heard their judgement, now, before I end this, I will give
my own judgement of Christians in the USA. For 25 years I have heard the call for
Christians in the USA to wake up. My judgement is, if they haven't done it
in large numbers by now, by their own choice, then they aren't going to in the future
by their own choice. I throw down the challenge. Pick it up if you have a heart for Jesus the Lord. But, I think most just want that ticket out of the lake of fire and that's all.

I read Brother Yuns book. It is called the Heavenly Man, for anyone interested. Many great miracles performed by God through this man.

He would memorize whole books of the bible because in China, at that time, they were not allowed to have bibles.

He prayed and prayed just to get a bible.

And here we are, I myself have probably 10 different bibles that I acquired without a second (well almost...) thought.

Pretty amazing what some people in other countries have to go through just to study and talk about Gods Word.
