Paster Keith, I find hate the sin not the sinner very condescending. It's like saying hate the skin color but not the person.

And Geo, why is my view "twisted?" There is more than 1 view, you know.

lol. Shawn. I wasnt talking about you. I was saying that Thaddaeus was twisting my words. Dont be so defensive. I do agree in some sense with Thaddaeus that we can very much hate the sin and not the sinner. I mean dont we hate murder, but as Christians shouldn't we still love murderers. I dissagree with your views on homosexuality, but i wont argue with you about it nor will judge you or condenm you. This isnt even what I was asking in this thread.

then you have the problem not me, cause you have to find God condescending, for show me one place in the Bible where God tolerates sin. and there may be more than one view but if the two veiw disagree then both can't be the truth
Rom 6:19
I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to UNCLEANness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.Ro 6:20For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.Ro 6:21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.Ro 6:22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.Ro 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

notice here that we are free from sin not here to sin , you do understand the difference to be free from somethere, rather to be free to sin don't you, Christians have been freed to turn from sin not remain in it. I am not saying this to belittle you as person but rather to show you the errs of your ways. and this is Bibical. 1co 5:9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:1co 5:10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.1co 5:11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.1co 5:12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?1co 5:13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Joh 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Joh 3:17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.Joh 3:18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.Joh 3:19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.Joh 3:20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.Joh 3:21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
God loves people but hates sin
