Talking of late in Tombo's good, well-supported claims, even strong scriptural backing , of his made thread, 'Misunderstanding Of Hell,' I posed this question and tommybegood's response was....

from Matthew 10:28: Don't fear humans who can only destroy the body, but do fear God who can destroy body and soul.

Forgive me, I am typing without a translation in front of me, but I CAN fairly say I am in context and this is the argument presented you, my peeps :)

So will your soul's resting place be Heaven or Hell ?

To be or not to be , that is the question, so to speak.

Note: I personally like threads with a 100 words or less, they say variety is the spice of life , and, I agree, but I believe 'brevity' is following right behind .

God (99) bless. (100) . ;)

Life can become nearly unbearable, if we go astray. That is why Jesus told us not to go astray.

First we need to know what a soul is
Genesis 2:7
(7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Man was not given a soul man became a soul so from this verse we have:-
Body + Breath of life = A Soul

This question to all of you , and, Laod, good fleshing out the meaning of 'soul.' Notice , if we put 'life' in place of 'soul' we have a monty python movie, just saying :D, but the question to all of you is really this:

When we die, and, are past 1000 years of judgments, and, still not accepting Christ, do those unbelievers have their souls destroyed or not? Do our souls go to keep Satan company forevermore, or ???

What does verse Matt. 10:28 say?

And what other 'soul' verses are there to explain there is condemnation or there is not ?

Where O' where do 'they' go ?

Ezekiel 18:4
(4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Ezekiel 18:20
(20) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

No, our soul won't burn up in hell, because hell is not the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14)
